Wishing the best for your friend that has cancer. It’s a rough one. I bought a 2015 kx450f and day after I bought it. I was diagnosed with colon cancer and esophagus cancer. And was told not to ride bikes. Haha. I had my colon removed and now waiting for my esophagus surgery. Love your channel brotha. I. Bought some tickets for this bike raffle.
I’m sorry to hear that my man! I hope surgery goes well for you and you have the opportunity to keep twisting throttle in the future. Thanks for entering for the CR and best of luck. Appreciate the support on the channel, glad you’re enjoying the videos!
@tightropehikes6994 exactly. For 1/2 copper pipe there are 1/2 inch collars or couplers. The ID of the coupler is 1/2 inch. The OD of 1/2 pex is 1/2 inch. The 8 or 10 mm bolts pass through the ID of the pex nicely, that and a washer where required makes for a quick and easy spacer. As light if not lighter than aluminum (guessing).
Cant believe you made us wait less than a weak for anothe episode Also as a tip i would recommend using antiseize or other grease lubricant when tapping just in case the tap breaks and it helps it tap easier
I put a 16 fender and number plate on my 2002 stock clamps. The Pryme restyle bracket takes care of the number plate, but the bottom clamp isn’t straight in the middle. It curves out and doesn’t allow the fender to sit back far enough. I would have to cut a big piece out to allow it to come back where I want it.
Hey man huge fan of the build series, you have an exceptional attention to detail! Wanted to ask what your bench grinder/buffer set up is for restoring bolts. Apologies if you went through this in a previous vid
Man I have a thing against factory fx myself… on my 2000 ktm 200 it has the graphics that were on it when I was a kid which happen to be factory fx and I reached out to them In hopes of getting new ones and they outright refused because “those graphics are over 20 years old” decal works quoted me around $500 to have them made custom so I ended up keeping my old crusty shrouds and just super gluing the ends of the graphics down. I just sadly can’t part with them
You may remember my previous comment about how you inspired me to revive my 1993 yz250. I got it running probably just as good as it did 30 years ago and I'm starting to freshen it up now. It's got gold protaper bars and I need to take it to a cleaning wheel to get imperfections and scratches out. What paint would you use to repaint it? I'd like to stick to gold, thanks in advance.
Hype for more episodes on this sweet bike! Unrelated but do you have the name of the tool you used to get the kickstarter off the spline on the KX250 build? Currently in that exact situation
@@KincadePavich Awesome thank you!!! Could not for the life of me figure out what it was lol. Ended up getting mine off with the blow torch and a gear puller of all things but honestly that tire lever might end up in my mailbox anyways because ive been needing some.

Finally had enough extra money to enter. Good luck to everybody. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. The spike is it's gonna be a masterpiece kincade.
Let's gooo good luck!!
Oh fun fact! To make spacers... I've used 1/2 inch pex waterpipe inserted into 1/2 copper collars. Works great.
What’s a copper collar?
Like a 1/2 copper coupling? Like water pipe?

@@danielsimpson8929 just call them couplings plz.
As a plumber I’ve never done that, but I’ll keep that in mind ✌️
I have the exact same fender and triple clamp issue on a 2004 CR250R. Thanks for the video, this will help a ton!

It's the Harbor Freight one! And I use Pryme MX wheels on the buffer side.
Keep them coming! I love these videos 🎉
Great work sir ! Well done 🤟🤙👆
That’s awesome
This build is looking insane
Bike is coming together very nicely
Can always mount the fender and wheels and unscrew the fork cap and sink the tire all the way up see if it hits...just thinking out loud here haha

VHT/DupliColor are good paint options!

I just picked up a 2002 KX 65 with the number 111. Coincidence?
Do the restyle kits work in 4 strokes?

The one on the left is the Polisport restyle front fender from the latest gen kit. I don't think it will fit a 2015 CRF450X.
I have already buy triple clamp down original years cross model ( i have enduro).... and fender ftont polisport but not fix all
👍👍👍
I love the vids
