I just subscribed after watching a couple of your videos ( found out through Charles at MXrevival ) and really enjoy your content 😀 A little about myself, been racing since 1977 and am 55 years old, I moto a 23 ktm sx 250 and a 92 ktm mx 500 , my h scrambles mount is an 89 ktm exc 350 ( all pre-mix's ) just have to say your channel is very fun and entertaining, glad to see more people getting into resurrecting of these older bikes - Great 👍 channel keep up the outstanding work 👍

In the 10 years of my amateur motocross experience, I had the most fun riding a 1998 CR 250. First gen alu frame, narrow, could lean almost till the handlebar end touches the ground, all in all, an awesome bike. I rode a 2004 CRF450 simultaneously and also had a 2004 KTM 525 SX and later a 2017 KTM 150 SX. The reason I chose Honda is because back in the day my dad had a 1994 Honda CBR1000F, white and red with blue seat. Unfortunately, I had some pretty bad accidents with broken bones so I had to quit and switched to road riding motorcycle, currently enjoying a 2019 KTM DUKE 790. Whoever will win this bike will be happy for sure! Good content, great editing, great to watch your work! Keep it coming!
I've ridden a handful of CR250s, and they're a freaking blast. I can't wait to get this thing dialed properly with the SmartCarb - it should be a rocketship. Keep ripping that Duke!!

I don't get how your able to override 54 engineers working 24hrs 3 shifts a day under production deadlines changing swingarms for looks in the hopes it will perform. Doubt it good luck with testing.
@@KLLKASDirtStrBuilder well the proof is in the pudding and that's just my perspective different riders like different changes to there bikes and I liked the feel the swing arm gave to the bike there's also a tread online somewhere about the newer arm on them bikes

Have not checked pressure. Plan on starting with 91 octane and then doing some testing with race fuel. I love the smell of Klotz, have never really bought it though!
did you bake the cerecote? just wondering how you fit it in the oven without hitting anything. im looking to get set up to do some caracote as well as powder.

The TX Race kit comes with its own seat so you best be taking that brand new seat cover off the oem seat haha
Went with the latest generation Polisport kit rather than the TX race kit!

What cylinder pressure are you getting and what octane do you plan on running? Also are you a fan of klotz?

For these parts I used air cure Cerakote. For the engine and suspension components I used E-Series (oven cure). Went into the oven very carefully.

The Shinkos? Depends on the terrain and how hard you ride. I usually get around 25 hours on a rear and even more on a front.
