A lot of people, myself included, hates having piano black all over the interior. It's just a dust magnet and almost impossible to keep clean. Now Hyundai decided to cover large areas of the exterior with it. Beside dirt and dust, nicks and scratches will appear and be hard to fix.
I love it 😍 😊
Yes, another channel, Car Confections had their Santa Fe SEL turbo engine bought back by Hyundai. Its transmission was replaced after 30 miles, then the second one gave out. They were offered a hybrid model but they declined. Hybrid maybe the way to go.
Hyundai sells 10000 Santa fes monthly on the US, car confections is just a TH-camr with a lemon. Statically negible.
@@estebanpacheco7102 10,000 a month? 😂😂😂
@@magnoliap5824 Yes, Hyundai sold 10,997 Santa Fes in the US in May 2024.
The transmission challenges convinced me to go hybrid. Love it
I like the lights
Need more terracotta orange ones in the hybrid calligraphy. Very Hard to find
It’s such a tremendous vehicle that offers so much for the money. I don’t think a better interior exists. It’s bigger than what I need but it’s surely a winner.
How do the shocks absorb bad road surfaces?
I love how the back looks! The low tail lights sets it apart from all the cookie cutters
Hope the hybrids do better than what im hearing from the turbos
Both are turbos
The transmission is the issue not the engine
I have the 2021 with the DCT with 35000 miles with no issues, very quick and as smooth as the day I bought it
@@nicholasdidesidero2336 I assume most are working correctly, but compared to their tried and true 6 speed, it’s had way too many issue for a tranny that been around several years now.
Still waiting for my hybrid calligraphy. Inventory is hard to come by with Hybrids still.
FYI I was able to get one at MSRP through the Costco buying program. Waited 2 months.
What about the finger print scanner?
Most seem to not talk about it. It's been on the Genesis for a while but doesn't seem that popular, in part some people don't want someplace somewhere storing their fingerprint and ID.
The Calligraphy does have the finger print scanner.
The non-hybrid model has only one exhaust tip that makes the back look imbalanced, on top of the back looking odd overall. The hybrid model without the exhaust tip looks much better from the back. The stitching on the upholstery also looks lumpy in places; needs better quality control there. Nonetheless, this SUV offers so much for the price.
@@jeffk5142 that’s been a minor personal complaint about Hyundai for years. Most other manufacturers balance the look by place exhausts on both sides. Even Genesis does a wonderful job, but not even the top of the line Kia or Hyundai does. I’d preferred the no exhaust look of the Hybrid than just a single tip.
Hello from Chattanooga, Tennessee. It's a great looking suv. I wished that it had more engine options like a turbo v6 or a turbo diesel. 😁😉 17:56
1.6 L engine with a big body. Hard pass!
I would wait till they fix their transmission issues and have a stable transmission.
Transmission issues seem to be on the standard gas model. I haven’t heard any issues with the hybrid model since they use different displays.
@@ob1spyker Correct, the hybrid uses the 6 speed transmission, not the 8 speed DCT that the ICE models have. A big deciding factor for me.
