FYI The only preparation necessary for removal/replacement (2002 Explorer XLT) is to jack the vehicle up from the center until both tires clear then pull the wheels. Unbolt the strut and it will come right out. The new struts were a little longer so required a pry bar to push it up and put the bottom bolt in. Unhooking the stabilizer bar would have worked too. No need to take the brake/hub apart or pop the top ball joint. It’s not that hard, I just did it. The rear is a little more work.
strut falls down in the control arm which lowers the strut so you can clear the top and then just pull the strut out ..... I just watched a video and it was a woman doing the work
Where can I get the thru bolt for the bottom of the strut How long is it what is the diameter of the bolt? I have a stuck bolt. What to just cut it out.
Thank you for this video! This will make the job easier! Just one question, what are the tighten measures for all the nuts? Or at l3ast for the shock itself? Thanks again!

Don't follow his advice
Holy ol Rust bucket. lol
Force, not pressure. What portion of this procedure is 19:23 unnecessary if the car isn't four-wheel drive?
