Fun fact: Christopher Lee later appeared in Gremlins 2: The New Batch, which was directed by Joe Dante, who directed the original Howling. When he arrived on set, one of the first things he did was apologize to Dante for being in this film.

And in an interview for one of these horror mag rags, he did claim he enjoyed visiting the Czech village in this film. One good point of this deadful flick, we get to see Czechoslovakia before the Iron Curtain wss torn down and this town was soiled by Western tourists and businesses

Rise of Skywalker feels like it had 1 draft written haphazardly after people were upset by how the previous film performed. So much happens offscreen between the TLJ and RoS that just... doesn't follow from the events of the first film. Say what you will about Attack of the Clones but the events it depicts actually *make sense* in context.

I just want to mentionat 17:40 The "werewolfs" are actually speaking Hungarian, which is extremely funny, given the region belongs to Romania. This is extremely funny, because the original Dracula (Vlad) was a reinstated by Hunyadi, a Hungarian King. So IF this was a vampire movie, you could argue, that they could speak hungarian. However, this is a werewolf movie, in a Romanian location, and these creatures were supposedly romanian, which would mean, that they despise Hungarian language.
Also worth mentioning, they are screaming "támadás" which means "to attack" or "to be attacked".
All in all, I think the director, and writer had no clue about any of the origin story.

That being said, this was once again a fantastic video, the production value of JonTron episodes just gets higher and higher, and the comedic timing is always impeccable, great work, Jon.

Why the hell are we complaining about Jon reviewing movies now? Who cares what the subject is? I mean regardless of the source material he makes all of his videos pretty much exactly the same. Make comments about the source while showing relevant footage, does some live action comedy bits here and there, some nice visual edits, and that's pretty much his formula whether he's doing games or movies. The man's passion is movies not games, so if he wants to do movie reviews IN THE EXACT SAME FORMAT HE DOES GAME REVIEWS just fucking let him! Griffin Patrick There's a book (and a fantastic one, at that) called Showgirls, Teen Wolves, and Astro Zombies, detailing a film critic spending a full year watching the worst movies imaginable to find the pinnacle of awfulness. It includes a lot of interesting trivia as well, including that fact. I knew this movie sounded familiar, and the 17-looped stripping confirmed that it was discussed in that book.
