Wow honestly man kudos doing all this. I wish I knew how to do all this. Just taking but off my interiour or removing the throttle body makes me feel like I know what I'm doing haha
Thanks mate I am a mechanic by trade only reason why I do know lol you’re doing it the right way just build the jobs as you go along as diving in headfirst can get you in a pickle 🤣
Thanks mate I’m glad it has helped was a bit worried on this one considering the front end was stripped and much appreciated 👍🏻😊 she isn’t too sad for a daily
Finally at a stage where I have some time to get cracking, new discs & pads, brake lines, new guts and pc callipers, refurbed wheels, plastics already glossed and waiting on the new headlights coming. Need to get all this finished before tackling the issue of no PS!
Hi Ted I'm after some advice can the high pressure power steering hose be joined my one has split is it possible to join a new hose to the Original rubber hose? Cheers James
Top job mate was thinking at doing this to mine you made it look easier than I thought it would be. 1 question though, is the nylon braided line up to the pressure from pump ?
No it isn’t unfortunately I went to pirtek and got a pipe made up only issue was I can’t run the pressure idle switch but the car runs alright, you’ll see me explain it all in the next video 😊👍🏻
AHH as soon as I start the car it's like metal grinding on metal, turn the wheel slightly and it sounds awful, IV got the Airtec Relocation Kit fitted and it's just coming out the bottle top and the return hose so I'm assuming it's defo the pump was yours a remanufactured pump? Thanks for reply 😊
Hell of a job there pal .....looks loads better
Thanks mate much appreciated😊👍🏻
Doing great mate, loads of good content 👍👍

I have a 2008 sitting in my driveway looking sorry for itself. Such a cracking wee car that’s just not had the time to drive it.
jump in the old girl and take it for a blast
I need to get it MOT’d but I’m dreading the fact that it needs breaks all round and a PS pump! 🙈 💰 😔
@@josephfritzl3310 shouldn’t be too expensive except for the pump can get pads and discs fairly check nowadays

Is it true that the belt coming off can mess up the timing mate
Yes as it wraps round the crank pulley causing it to lock up and boom engines kaput

I’d take the pipe to pirtek and they’ll probably be able to make a new one up for you mate
