Mines the rolling windows that texted .messed up but yeah just bought original vw double caddy electric window panels and door cards from 2010 I'm hoping I can get just run wire loom to power it from fuse box plug straight in work as not touran door cards or will I have to repin as well

Hi there finally got around I fitted my original vw 2010 electric windows my 2009 caddy im having issue now with central locking will moving the pins in that order will fix it as that's touran mine vw 2010 or can you help me right direction

Also do you repin both door modules or just driver side only

@@JoeyPierce the bases are only heated on these not the back rest someone may have added pads into yours

New pads on old discs take time to bed in I wouldn’t say it’s due to a bleed take the car on a little drive make sure it’s fairly empty and use the brakes to a near stop gently a few times then use the pedal firmly to stop quickly between doing this make sure you keep the car moving to cool the brakes after a few attempts of this you should feel the pedal because more sharp hope this helps

@@WelshRabbit79 I did not do a video and I’m annoyed I didn’t but it was an emergency thing where I did them strut tops they’re not friendly having a giant hole in them for the standard top mounts plus the near rear shock blew in that time as well so I had to fit them between my working hours. They’re very good coilovers though may I add

@@6uiltdifferent its a luverly motor and you spent a lot of cash time and effort on it, i have a mk7.5 5dr contemplating sticking a st lump in it probably as i am never getting rid of it. my brother gave it to me so i cant sell it as its sentimental. got any other mods plans for your st?

@@6uiltdifferent Well i did have a 400bhp scoob so i miss the power and i don't think i could go back to a 2dr.. What power do you think you could get out of a turbo conversion i assume your going for a built engine ...

@ nice mate and yeah I guess life’s a lot easier with more doors I haven’t gone over to that yet so I’m sticking with 3 haha mine will be around 400 bhp however it’ll be built to take over 500

@@richardburns1287 if it’s not used as a daily it’ll be fine but you’d be surprised how quick they can start up again I’ve seen it

@@richardburns1287 a lot of them products are crap anyways they may make it look pretty but it’s not water tight a lot of the time the only thing that makes it water tight is epoxy primer, idk why people use hammerite as that’s another waste of time aswell because when the rust comes back by the time you see it coming through it’s too late the cars rotten.

@@Ferretfanatic69 that or the door looms I did a lock when I bought the car, but found more issues down the line and saw the loom had been repaired previously multiple times so I replaced the loom with a new one and it has been ok

@@mancmackem nothing I can think of if I’m honest mate I’d take a little look and see if you can see broken wires I’m the door panel it’s so common on these

@@mancmackem no worries and I’m pretty sure it shouldn’t I’d have to double check only the drivers side would lock all doors when pressed etc

@@andrewt885 yeah should be fine mate as they fit on the standard runners you just can’t go as far back with them compared to having no bulkhead

@@6uiltdifferent thanks mate, I've fitted them and do quite like them. I wished did sprayed the brackets white before fitting as they would've blended in that way but ah well. Any suggestions for getting the bonnet lined up perfectly afterwards? The bonnet panel gaps aslre a tad worse amd it's starting to bother me ahahah.

@@someone8476 I wish I did the same it’ll definitely be on the cards when I get the car sprayed for sure as for bonnet gaps it’s a case of trial and error unfortunately loosen it off adjust resecure check and try again

Check the wire that goes under the centre console and make sure it has a clean connection and make sure the wire has no breaks in it.

@@0luc83 unfortunately it all depends on what size spacers you’re running (if you’re running them) along side the shims if you’re not running axle spacers then I reckon the original bolts would be fine

@@6uiltdifferent Thank you for the reply, saw it a bit late :D I'm running 5mm spacers and am planning to stack 2 on each side for a little more camber, do the shims come in a pack of 2 or will I have to order 4 total? Thank you :p

@@0luc83 they come in a pack of 2 just be careful as it can knock the toe out and give you more issues so just get the car tracked after and make sure the toes still in check otherwise you’ll be munching through tyres like I did haha
