    It should not cause constipation at all. But, it's always good to make sure you're drinking plenty of water

    would collagen and or silica feed helminths or large parasites?

    Interesting contribution! I know my heart arteries are calcified to some extent, so my arteries had tears and the body tried to fix the problem. I'd like to repair in a better way, restoring the vessel walls.
    Now my question:
    1. can I rebuild the collagen in the walls with vitamin C, lysine and proline plus ortho silicic acid?
    2. Remove the calcification by taking vitamin D and vitamin K2?
    Love to hear your insight on this matter, many thanks in advance!

    Collagen contribute to bone density ---
    Researchers found that a year of daily collagen peptides supplementation measurably
    --------- increased bone mineral density in the lumbar spine and in the upper femur. -------
    The women also had higher levels of a blood biomarker that indicates bone formation.

      interesting research! It would be interesting to also know in this study about their diet and what nutrients they were taking if any if they had an exercise program and also focused on digestion and stress reduction. www.betterbones.com/the-natural-approach/natural-approach-to-bone-health/

    Can you compare marine to meat or chicken bone collagen?

    • @Cuinn837
      @Cuinn837 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I personally believe that Marine is best. Fish collagen just seems to be absorbed better. But please research before making supplement decisions.

    What about the various collagen types?

    • @DrSusanBrown
      @DrSusanBrown  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Collagen type 1 and 3 are used as they are shown to be superior in skin elasticity and hydration, as well as supporting joint health and function.
      Marine Collagen offers a substantial protein content of 9.4 grams per serving, along with 8 out of the 9 essential amino acids. What sets fish collagen apart from collagen derived from sources like bovine or porcine is its elevated levels of essential amino acids, particularly Glycine and Proline, which facilitate quicker absorption into the body.
      Fish collagen peptides consist of two prominent collagen types, namely Type I and Type III (type 10 is far less common). These collagen types confer various advantages, such as fostering the growth of healthy hair and nails, enhancing skin suppleness and moisture retention, as well as promoting joint well-being, functional mobility, and bone robustness.
      If you're looking for an extra bone - boost, you can pair Our Beauty and Bone Marine Collagen with Our Advanced Collagen Generator.
      It provides ch-OSA® (choline-stabilized orthosilicic acid), a clinically proven complex that turns on the fibroblasts in skin and osteoblasts in bone that generate collagen (boosting your bodys own supply of collagen!), and it helps to naturally nourish your body’s proteins.
      Hopefully this explains our collagen a bit more. If you have any more questions, let us know. Or join Dr. Browns Office hours! shop.betterbones.com/products/office-hours-w-dr-brown?_pos=1&_sid=583f11a9e&_ss=r

    What's wrong with just taking Horsetail supplements for Silica? Many people are getting great results from Horsetail.

    • @DrSusanBrown
      @DrSusanBrown  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There is nothing wrong with horsetail you just get better bioavailability with choline stabilized orthosilicic acid.

    Does the collagen stir into tea well? Is it tasteless?

    • @DrSusanBrown
      @DrSusanBrown  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It will stir into any hot liquid well. Some folks say it is tasteless some notice a slight taste. I always put it in my smoothie so I do not notice much. I have also heard good results with oatmeal.
