Shortly after, I found out I have osteoporosis. Regarding medications, my situation is complicated as I already have medical issues with my jaw. I am trying to find my way and your recommendations will now be a part of my treatment plan. Again, thank you!!

Thank you Dr. Sung!! I have been concerned about the health of my bones. 55 and just in menopause recently PLUS being treated for CIRS & mold toxicity. With my high inflammation and how hard it is to detox I will look into KoACT. My functional never brought this up. She basically recommends a test and then diagnosis it only without considering what I tell her is going on. The pains in my elbow and knees & legs have kept me from exercising mostly due to low MSH I’m sure but it increases pain. My right hip area is bad. Need to get on your recommendations here!!!

As mentioned but not emphasized, be sure to take K2 (trans mk-7) if supplementing with calcium. Without it, calcium does not know where to go. It will lodge anywhere, often the kidneys (creating big issues) rather than the bones. K2 tells it where to go. Keep in mind that D3 increases calcium absorption, so if even if not supplementing calcium but are taking D3, you will want K2 for same purpose.

My D level was a tad high so my doc asked me to lower from the 10,000 I was taking to 5000. I also take 180 K2 mk-7, and collagen with my morning coffee.
I purchased a LIV machine from a company I found in Minnesota. It costs much less than others. I use 30Hz, suggested by NASA, and an amplitude of 3mm. Twice a day, 5 minutes at a time.
The doc has put me on Raloxifene, which is not a biphosphonate.

I started taking K2 Mk-7 100mcg per day and 3 1/2 months later, broke out in hives and had dizziness. That was the only thing I added to my supplements. I stopped taking it and It took almost a month for the hives to go away. I assume I’m allergic to it. I would like to try it in drop form but am scared to now.

@@perisndirangu1280 Do you make your own, or buy it somewhere? I make my own: save shells from the eggs I consume from pasture-raised hens (Wilcox family company); boil them to sterilize, oven bake to dry the shells and make them easily crushed, crush with mortal and pestle, pulverize with coffee grinder, empty into a sugar sifter so that the largest fragment is the size of a sugar crystal, weigh out the portion I take at a time (1.5 grams), and put into chowder or whey protein shakes. It's work, but only once a month process. I know it's the highest quality and not tainted in the processing method. The body apparently can only process about 500 mg of calcium at a time, hence the spreading the "doses" throughout the day. I track calcium consumption in food and eggshell supplement with an app online, Cronometer. Recent labs through my endocrinologist show that my body is building bone, per the doctor. I'd like to hear about what you are doing, if you are willing to share. (Also, I ordered KoAct after hearing Dr Sung's video. It arrives today. My primary doctor advised me to aim for 2,000 mg calcium each day from food and supplement sources. I'll substitute the KoAct for part of what I am now getting from eggshell, but eggshell is my mainstay.)

I have hypothyroidism. I’ve been on various medications: synthroid, lyvoxothroxin, armor, various doses, sometimes as high as 125 mcg, for the past 40 years.
Currently taking a compound med; dissected pig 105 mcg.
Suffering from osteoporosis, currently at -2.6 lumbar spine osteopenia in my femoral neck of both hips.
Could my thyroid med be the culprit.
