Not that its applicable to every race, but its usually more solidified when drivers switch cars. It take the "driver mod" out of the result.

Chevy ss should be mid 12s unless the driver cant drive so he either sucked or you're faster than 12.9....also the 5.0s are faster than 12.9s. 🤷♂️ I'm going to go with horrible drivers. My room mate used to have a 3.7 with bolt ons and a tune, my stock coyote destroyed it then I went catless and a tune and it was 747 gaps for days.

These guys are in over 2000 DA and the best runs im seeing in much better DA is 12.7 www.google.com/amp/s/www.ssforums.com/forum/drag-racing/37913-bone-stock-1-4-mile-times-10.html%3famp=1 with the DA these guys are at it would make the SS more of a 13.1-13.2 car
12.7 in 787 DA someone on those forums ran. The cars in this video were almost 3x that density altitude

Its illegal to tune for offroad setups in the US. currently. Maybe you lost some down low torque, but going with a catless x or h pipe will gain between 10-15 whp

My car is now mpt tuned. Made a world of difference. Wakes the car up. Also if you haven't tried forget getting the bbk throttle body 73mm. Go ahead and save yourself $300. Get a 80mm throttle body off a 5.0 and the adapter plate to make it fit. Well worth it!!!!!

I have a vid were i raced a FBO v6 in my SRT (running on 7 cylinders) and shit kept up till 100(pulled harder than a 3v)i dont think theirs any nitrous in youre build its solid!

I don’t understand people who race their manual cars, but can’t shift for their lives, like the SS and GTO in the vid, driver mod goes a long way and if I didn’t have it I wouldn’t bother racing lol
I had my tuner take me for a ride in my evo. I had no idea my evo was that quick at shifting. I thought I was a pretty good driver too. Amazing what a good driver can do with the same car.
@@dsm091 in a manual driver makes a big difference. That is why all these auto fan boys think autos destroy manuals because most manual drivers suck ass these days and if you suck ass yea an auto is gonna gap you lol. If you can powershift like a boss there would be very and I mean VERY little difference in performance between auto and manual from a roll especially people with the driver mod can really get all the potential out of a car.

I was talking to a couple of people and they told me to go with 3.55s because 373s would lower my top speed and I was wondering it that was true or not because I’m looking at different gearing I have 2.73s stock right now

These cars actually roll out for what it is my gf bought 1 and we smoked a ss Camaro and some other v8 cars stock lol although she has the rag top so it's a little heavier than the hard top. But they are pretty light and move out well with mods I would imagine it would certainly compete with the big dogs to some degree on the street.

Great stuff. I beat a 2002 GT 5.4 swapped, 3.55 gears and 120 shot of nitrous in a dig race with my 13 3.7 V6 Stang , FBO, 4.10 geared MPT tuned car. He shut down his car at 80 mph because I was 2 car lengths out on him and he couldn’t catch up. Dude was talking mad shit off and on for weeks till we raced. After I beat him he went and bought a 2011 Camaro SS and sold that 2002 GT the next week.

My humble opinion is that the 2v is the best sounding ford v8. Excluding the 5.2 flat plane crank.

Hey I was wondering if you knew anyone that I could talk to about how to do a Wastegate setup on my 2011 v6 p1sc procharger?
You'll have to fabricate a wastegate after the Procharger but before the intercooler with a set spring of your desire. You'll have to get a higher psi pulley for the Procharger so it will make more power earlier but the wastegate will allow it to dump once it hits the max psi you want.

@@Youdontknowme966 I've seen a pic once of someone in the Cyclone Facebook pages who has done it. You have to weld an adapter to the tube for the wastegate. You can use whatever wastegate you want as long as you can make it work with the tube. I believe it was right after the Procharger

Lol, raced a ‘10-14 V6 Mustang in my ‘04 6.0L RCSB Silverado. The faster we went the faster he lost ground to a truck. How is that?! Ford dropped that engine from the lineup for a reason. They’re just not impressive.
I also noticed a lot of rev limiters in these races from missed shifts, like the Camaro, one of the 3v’s and the GTO. Ya, they lost the race but because of the driver and not the car.
Your word basically can apply for all the cars that are slower than 13 sec. My old S3 all have a straight four cast iron engine. Have you even tried to race it?

You know I bought a brand new 2012 mustang 3.7 premium and let other peoples comments make me sell it in 2018 for 12,800 and 24,000 miles. I had the rear gear changed from 2:73 to 3;73, a 93 octane tune, cai and magnaflow exhaust..Man I really screwed up. Don’t be like me and let other people get under your skin like I did.
