Hi ayya I'm a big fan of yours and wanted to share my experience as a KIU graduate. While the university's module and course structure were perfect and matched my research before enrolling, I've found that the quality of lectures, university life, and degree recognition might not be as strong as that of other institutions. I got my bachelors in Physical Sciences from Sri Lanka and came here to study Data Analytics masters. Apart from this I was as able to obtain Microsoft certification in Power BI data analysis. I think it’s really important to have statistics/mathematics as a strong base and specialised in specific tool for BI, data engineering or data analytics. And if you’re a new to a data career, try to obtain a skill based certification for example from Microsoft. This will help you to stand out from the crowd. Plan yourself and find a niche. And then try to get certified and up skill yourself. You need to learn learn learn because these tools are updating rapidly. Opportunities are endless for example here in Australia.
