I used TotalBoat Thickset Fathom, maple burl, Let's Resin pigments and a TotalBoat mold to create this masterpiece. Watch me turn a boring block of wood into a swampy sensation that will make your mouth water. This is the Swamp Thing, the ultimate lemon lime bowl! everyone gets burned out from time to time, and Family always comes first. Always remember this is YOUR channel! You do you, what ever that is and those who care will stay, and those who dont well they can move on. As for the typical TH-cam bs.... Not much you can do about that. you could always move to another social site but you always risk losing everything you built up.

Always family first. Ok maybe you first, then family. You have to be your best, so you can give your best to you family. Love the video. Glad I’m not the only one at time that resends a piece multiple times to get it right. The right sanding, the right finish, etc. make your videos whatever they may be. Some will always like them and some will always hate them. But that is life. Enjoy it.

3) The narration was cool. I still know virtually nothing about what's going on, so it gives a clearer picture. I liked that you snuck in a couple of jokes though.
4) TH-cam is terrible, but unfortunately, they're the only show in town. I could spend a week rattling on about that.

Well done for persevering on the finish! The Honey did the trick. I've seen others opt to spray clear coat lacquer well oil isn't working. That make must have been rock hard!
It really was. I used to use wipe on poly, but buffing 6 coats really sucked.

I really liked the narration. Don't be afraid to express you're creative artistic self in any way you like. I think most of us are pretty happy just to get a peek at whatever you're up to, even if it's something completely out in left field. I know I also really appreciated your shop safety videos. And you know what? That's okay if you take some time. Especially for good news like a promotion at work and for the things that really matter in life (talking about family). Neat looking piece. Maple burl is awesome stuff. I'm OK with whatever content you decide to make. The narration was OK. One suggestion: You have a unique sense of humor that you have brought to many of your videos, whatever content you make, don't lose that element of your content creation.

I love the narration. It kept me holding my breath and then sighing relief. Especially when you got to describing the bottom and how thin it was. It turned out great. I'll be honest I'm not too crazy about the color but at the same time it has an elegant look about it.

My channel isn’t nearly as big as yours, but I’ve noticed the same thing, pick up new subs and the same number seem to disappear in the next day, sometimes only an hour or two later. Makes it hard to get to the next level you’re after.

Congrats on the promotion Ken! 1) I have heard other instances of shaddow bans on TH-cam, it's why I don't video. 2) The bowl turned out great!
I think the issue is that TH-cam wants all creators to switch to shorts. Wood working and turning videos do not convert easily and are way more time consuming than the $.40 you make on a short. But the attention span of an American (Not dogging, but quoting a study) is now below 8 sec. Normally, they watch about 48% of my videos. lol So TH-cam isn't wrong on the Shorts, I just think they are killing off the channels that helped them get where they are.

The bowl turned out really well, and the color is why I wanted to watch. I can only seem to do things with a blue color in the resin. I can't seem to get myself to step outside the box. Thank you for sharing your video.

Ken - just do you - narration is good - I'm watching whatever you put together. Some turnings start off as boards (board/economy bowls) so there is a lot done off the lathe in these projects. Thanks for sharing your work with us.
