Nissan Navara D40 Stalling on start up / Rev fluctuation 1

- 2010 Thai build Nissan Navara Stalling on start up / Rev fluctuation.
Problem occurs extremely intermittently and regardless of Hot or Cold start up.
To this date no one hase been ale to diagnose the problem.
4 mechanic dealerships have inspected the problem (including 2x Nissan dealerships and a Turbo Diesel specialist).
They have checked the following on several occasions:
Engine codes (none recorded)
SCV (suction Control Valve)
Timing Chain
Fuel Filter
Fuel Pump
Injector Pump
Fuel Injectors
EGR (Exhaust Gas Reticulation)
If anyone has any ideas, i would be all ears ??? - ยานยนต์และพาหนะ
Thanks mate, i ended up replacing the SCV, Fuel Filter and full ecu re-learn and still had slight issues. Suspected timing chain / timing chain sensor was at fault however now have traded the car in.
Hi I had this exact problem with my D40 Navara I drained the water out of fuel filter and this cured it , I have relpaced the fuel filter for a new one
And reset the ECU runs like a dream and no more limp mode . I will still check the new filter for water once a month for maintenance. Hope this helps.
my new 2018 Pathfinder has no problems the is a/c is excellent it has no problems it is cold no misfire no engine shaking its good it idles well
No one cares.
Combination of cleaning the SCV replacing fuel filter and resetting the ECU fixed my YD25 D22
I'm facing this same problem but on the Navara V6 4Liter Petrol, please advice what can be course on the Petrol engine staring and failing to accelerate. please help
Pull the plug off the cam angle sensor, it's located at the back right side of the motor. If it runs sweet, you have stretched timing chains..

My 2007 model did it at 150k, Approved Nissan Dealer replaced turbo auto choke unit, new fuel and air filters, full service. That fixed it, cost $3300NZ. Now done 225k and same problem again. Do not know what it is, pissing me off though.

Nah, sorry mate. I eliminated as many options as I could but didn't find the fault and traded the car.

@@awsalaa9795 Yes I found what the problem was it was the air valve it wasn't opening enough and that why it was hand to start in the morning

I had the same problem on mine maybe 7 months ago, ended up changing SCV and that seemed to fix it, just yesterday i took it to get my clutch changed, this starts happening again, error code came up, timing chain.
so if you dont hear from me again i probably got a heart attack after i speak to my mechanic on monday.

Velislav Dimitrov hey buddy, i am not matt as you can tell, but i had the same problem. first time it used to stall on low idle. I changed the FUEL REGULATOR.
after 7 months it happened in front of my mechanic....timing chain need replacement.

what happened Bodzi? what was the result. i have the same issue. they are telling me the timing chain, yet this chain has only dont 10,000kms.. not good
Hey mate iv been having this problem but mine will stall once and then start fine every time and it only happens randomly sometimes while its cold and sometimes while its hot. its been in and out of the mechanics and they cant find the problem as they havnt been able to get it to stall. please help
