Hey Matt did u ever find out what was causing your navara to keep stalling

It looks like a mass air flow issue, and the other thing can be the butterfly on the admission clogged. I replace SCV but SCV don’t make that problem shown in the video scv commonly rattles or hesitate. Cam position sensor shut down the car immediately and don’t rev up same as Crank sensor do same issue turn of and never start and rev up. I will lose one pipe of common rail to see if there is pressure of diesel if not the problem might be diesel regulator or pump. But as I said there is a few test to do to see what is happening. In Navara D40 yd25ddti is common to see problem that don’t trigger engine light.

I have a Navara yd25ddti, I'm from Brazil, my problem is that the truck is stalling suddenly. I do not know what else to do. I already changed the fuel filters, scv, timming chain. I saw in other video that it could be the 02 sensor, but i think my truck don´t have those sensors. changed de MAF and camchaft sensors too. Would you help me?

Hey mate iv been having this problem but mine will stall once and then start fine every time and it only happens randomly sometimes while its cold and sometimes while its hot. its been in and out of the mechanics and they cant find the problem as they havnt been able to get it to stall. please help

my new 2018 Pathfinder has no problems the is a/c is excellent it has no problems it is cold no misfire no engine shaking its good it idles well

Hi. I’m having the same problem. Please check electrical connectors inside the fuse box on the right side of the engine. Disconnect and reconnecting the connectors might solve your issue.

Hi all my Nissan D40 is doing the same it hard to start when it's cold but ones it hot then it ok

Pull the plug off the cam angle sensor, it's located at the back right side of the motor. If it runs sweet, you have stretched timing chains..

Late answer but maybe it can help someone. I had the same problem. Nobody knew what it was. I cleaned my mass air sensor and it is was better. When i start the engine when it is hot, the revs drop to 500 and then slowly Rise to 650

Hi I had this exact problem with my D40 Navara I drained the water out of fuel filter and this cured it , I have relpaced the fuel filter for a new one And reset the ECU runs like a dream and no more limp mode . I will still check the new filter for water once a month for maintenance. Hope this helps.

had the same problem scv was defective but had to Re train the brain twice it's good now

My 2007 model did it at 150k, Approved Nissan Dealer replaced turbo auto choke unit, new fuel and air filters, full service. That fixed it, cost $3300NZ. Now done 225k and same problem again. Do not know what it is, pissing me off though.

buy an engine code reader £15 on ebay i carry one in my d40 as there is always somthing wrong and atleast i can figure it out myself

I had the same thing happen to me, after a day looking for stuff not connected (ie electronics or tubes) I changed the fuel filter and put in a egr blocking plate, It has been working fine now for 2 weeks. EGR i think is stuck open.

I have the 2010 d40 dual cab manual 2WD turbo diesel. I'm having exactly the same issues. The drive chain was replaced during the warranty period. This problem began a month ago and it is intermittent. Replaced fuel filter a few weeks ago and just started again. Has the mechanic stumped as to why this is happening.It took 6 starts to get it moving this morning :-(

Replaced the SCV, Fuel Filter and full re-learn of the ecu. Suspected timing chain / timing chain sensor was at fault, however I have traded in the vehicle in fear of further issues.
