- We are in what can only be described as one of the most beautiful destinations we've ever sailed to. Anchored in this remote bay nestled between 2 small islands in the Outer Hebrides, we explore the island's rugged coastline and cascading waterfalls.
From here we continue on our Scottish sailing journey, and head a little south to the Island of Taransay where we experience some strong winds and encounter the rare sighting of several basking sharks.

Stunning even in the rain. Brilliant that you guys took the time to clean up that beach 👏👏
Love your camera work!
Another great video, keep em coming😊👍🏻
Wow great video
Prachtig scotland een en al natuur ,vindt je nergens meer .❤🎉😊
Great footage and story as usual, amazing to see such places exist in the UK, you just got to make the effort.
I would love to see a basking shark up close, just can’t believe these gentle creatures were hunted to near extinction in recent times, what a travesty.
Congratulations on what you did on that beach! Not everybody would have collected that much rubbish, stuffed it into their - always too small - lazarette and tried to get rid of it later in a marina. Great attitude!
Thanks, luckily we found a big old tall ship in Barra that was very welcoming of the large bouys to use as fenders.
Thank you for sharing this beautiful adventure
Really enjoying your adventures guys, keep em coming! Love that you take the time to explain how you sail, why you have chosen your course and the charts you use etc… fascinating. Thank you for sharing!
Thanks, so glad you you find them interesting.
Another smooth and relaxing video. Thanks.
P.s. I'm still sanding and antifouling...
Great video guys! Gorgeous scenery and so relaxing to watch 🌊💙
Lovely
Such a shame seeing such a beautiful beach littered with all the commercial fishing waste. Loved the underwater and drone footage thanks
As always your videos are very special. You seem to be able to capture the very best of wherever you find yourselves and your wildlife encounters are awesome and inspiring! Just so depressing seeing all that commercial fishing crap.
Thanks Adam
Brilliant video again !
Good idea checking the max wind and speeds for your log, how do you find that in your Raymarine MFD, I have an Axiom + and haven’t found that option yet…
Cheers ⛵️
For the end of passage log we have a data page set up with 4 cells Max TWS, Max SOG, Avg SOG and TWS
Not sure on the Axiom but on ours go to data ~ Menu>customise>create new page>4 Cells>select data category>wind>TWS>Max TWS
Hope this helps
@@SailingHiraeth That’s brilliant, I’m sure mines the same, just figuring it all out still !
Happy sailing 👌⛵️
Another great video guys, thanks. What were the odds that I would be anchored at Taransay when you released this video?
Wow that’s great, glad you enjoyed the video keep an eye out for those Basking Sharks 🦈
