- We walked our final section of the Northamptonshire Boundary Walk in February! The theme for the day was mud, mud and more mud as we climbed out of Ashley towards the lovely village of Stoke Albany with a lovely display of snowdrops.
After a short hop to Wilbarston we stopped for a break, watching the antics of a couple of red kites swooping gracefully overhead.
The next section through the grounds of Pipewell Hall to Pipewell village was a delight, with extensive views.
After an urban stretch through Corby, we stopped for a late lunch near the church at Great Oakley before walking through Newton and back to Geddington, where we started this adventure in December 2022.
After over 200 miles of rolling hills, disused airfields, woods, towns, canals, pretty villages and lots of cake, we finally completed the Northamptonshire Boundary Walk!
Well done! That's a great achievement
Thanks a lot, it felt great to finish! X
Another great walk & lovely video. 👍👍
Thanks, thanks so much for watching
Yes! Back out in the glorious county of Northamptonshire ❤
Yes! And glorious it is! That was a huge project 😃
Well done ladies👏
Thanks a lot, appreciate it 🥰
Well done Steph & Sue of course. You had me chuckling with your dry humour Steph regarding 'William not being welcome', .... so unexpected it cracked me up! 😂🤣😂
Thanks, I’m glad it made you laugh I wondered if people would get it 😂
Well done! Always good to complete a mission.
But very envious that you grabbed the last Caramacs.
Thanks ha ha yes they were lovely ☺️
What made u choose this walk by the way? It must have felt great to finish it!
When I start mine I think it will take me 5 years!
Well done Steph & Sue. 👍😉
Thanks, mainly because Sue lives in Northamptonshire and we wanted a big project, I think doing a long distance trail section by section is a good way of getting one done if time is an issue
