I wanted to add this to the "latest" video I could find even though it refers to a much older video of yours: About "Firth of Fifth" by Genesis. It isn't a made-up word. A "firth" is a narrow inlet of the sea along the coast of Scotland. There are many: i.e. Firth of Clyde, Firth of Lorn, etc. But most importantly, there is the large Firth of Forth, where one finds the capital of Scotland, Edinburgh. The English (not Scot) members of Genesis were creating their own "firth" and naming it "Fifth" in keeping with the frequent "terrain" allusions in the tune you guys liked so much. I'm happy to say I saw Genesis during their US tour for this album (08-Mar-1974 Fox Theatre, Atlanta GA). I saw a LOT of great bands in the 1970s and early 80s. One of the few benefits of being over 70 now...

That sense of “going back” is a sign of developmental growth. We re-interpret and/or re-experience past stages of life as we reach a new one.

I am so grateful that the video you see under the starry sky at dawn is so beautiful and enchanting. Even if one day we all leave without a trace as time passes, I hope that your beautiful and precious video channel will never be forgotten and shine forever. Thank you for the space-like algorithm that made it possible to see good videos. Missing the beautiful memories of the past, I am still watching your videos again. The scent of your video still lingers in the early morning cafe window while I am watching your video, so I play the guitar and play the harmonica. Watching your video, I want to hold my past memories and flow like a cloud.
Today, I'm drenched in loneliness, and I want to play a song with a dreamy, mysterious, or sad melody. As the cold autumn wind blows, I want to go as the heartless years go by... I can't break my heart from watching you fall in love with your wonderful video... Does it impress you? I am so grateful that the video you see under the starry sky at dawn is so beautiful and enchanting. Even if one day we all leave without a trace as time passes, I hope that your beautiful and precious video channel will never be forgotten and shine forever. I can't believe it. I was flipping through several videos on the TH-cam screen of my phone, and I was enchanted by the algorithm, and your video caught my eye at the end. I can't believe it. I was flipping through several videos on the TH-cam screen of my phone, and I was enchanted by the algorithm, and your video caught my eye at the end. It makes me feel so happy to see your image unfolding in the early morning sky in autumn. When I miss the cold November flower scent deeply, I will visit you again with your wonderful, wonderful, beautiful, and precious video. Thanks to watching your video, it revolves in my heart as if it were wrapped around me with beautiful and good energy. Your channel has a wonderful talent that is full of the strange charm of your videos, and has the ability to make it attractive in a moment. I sincerely hope that your channel, who has been working hard for your dream, develops into a very large channel, with a small gift. Thank you so much for your hard work and for the time to warm my heart and make me feel comfortable. Your video that you see under the dawn sky under the sky is so beautiful and enchanting. I will not forget it. The quality is good and the best. Thanks to the cosmic algorithm that made it possible. Missing the beautiful memories of the past, I am still watching your videos again. I totally understand what Manny is feeling. When I got married and had children it felt like the “me” up to that point had to step aside for the new “me”. It’s been 20 years, my kids are older, and I find myself not only going back to the music that defined my life up until I got married and became a Dad, but kind of catching up on the last 20 years of music, as I didn’t have the time to delve in as deeply as I had in years prior! It’s a part of who I am that I thought I had to give up when I “started adulting”, but now I am rediscovering the old me, and making it part of the new me. I feel more whole.

It’s so crazy how music or something that brings us back can fill a need within us. I’m so thankful for music, even though I may leave it at times, it’s always waiting there for me

I miss those first 15 minute kisses.
I very much understand that need to think like that fresh faced kid, used to trying and sometimes failing but trying again and again. I stopped painting for 8 years, self doubt, lack of fun, etc. I’m back painting since 2013 and going strong imo, cuz you know what, who cares? Just enjoy and maybe fail sometimes, there no failed experiments. Do that graphic novel, use that work ethic you gained for yourself.
Great to see the band back together even if it’s just catching up.
I don’t know why but I used to get Chevelle and Pell Mell mixed up. Interstate is an album I have but haven’t listened to in decades. I just added it to my Spotify, let’s see if it as good as I once thought.
I think song battles: Manny picks a song, Justin picks a song and it’s a battle to the death. Well, maybe not death, but first listens for the other. Very nace.
    Mucho amor

Life is like a beanstalk... isn't it?
Play Baby Beluga for your 2 yr old. It is a great song for that age.
I am enjoying this format. You guys could get together once a week and talk about music... maybe taking loose topic areas... i.e. favourite lyricysts and why. Just a thought.
Kids... I remember one of my friends kids saying that his older sister was going to be a rich business person and he was going play bass guitar as a session musician and sleep on her couch. She ended up marrying the rich business person (while on the way there herself). He ended up as a drummer in a Voodoo temple. They were both happy.
    Thanks guys.

Manny, I was in your shoes 25 years ago; a young husband and father trying to be a positive influence, working what seemed like too many hours, and struggling to find an outlet for my inner artist. It sounds like you’re doing the right things for yourself and your family. Some things will stick, some will fall, and some you’ll share. One day, you’ll look back and realize that everything worked out the way it was supposed to. Keep up the good “fight”. 🙏

Manny, regarding being 'scared of growing up'; That's completely normal. There is even a name for It. Assuming you are in your late twenties it's called return of Saturn. It's a psychological tendency people go through once they have sowed roots into a career, family, etc and feel anxiety of whether they've made good choices. It doesn't matter of you have or haven't. Everyone goes through it to some degree. It is sort of like to turning 28 a midlife crisis is to turning 40.
