One of the most underrated things about the porche, is the sound!
That 6th gear is... Amazing
It's one of the most continuously mentioned things about the Porsche.
@@hellobooom easy to say nearly a week later
what, the 6th gear sounds better than the other 5, does it?
Thank you for a nice video. I have only tried all 3 cars on Nurburgring and the ferrarri was a huge surprise as to how pointy it is like you say. Nearly feels like a formula car, so insanely grippy and stable. I did like the turbo waste valve sounds and how it was pretty bumpy. It was however surprisingly fun to try and drive fast in. However i gues it will be very-very popular online and i really dislike driving the FOTM cars. One reason i refused to get into the M4 as what felt like 80% of the community drove that thing.
I have run the original Lambo and the Evo for most of my 700+hrs in ACC and the Evo 2 definetely is a lot more stable on the default agressive setup. In fact i went back to the Evo to compare and the Evo on Nurburg is a nightmare, specially in the fast esses, it just flips the rear. But i noticed the same on the coach Dave setups, they feel very much broken atm. Though very weird the stock agressive of the regular Evo felt borked too.
I have not tried the Evo 2 at any other track yet but i learned to drive the Lambo for the looks and sounds. For me it is the most sexy GT3 out there, and the Evo 2 looks like an absolute weapon. But i fully agree that the Evo 2, as all 2 before, are very cumbersome feeling cars, unless you have a very good setup taht rotates it, the stock setups need a lot of presise trailbraking to get it to turn reliably.
And of the tyre temp pressure gets above 27.0 you really notice that sideways gripp going away. And while it gets very noticeably more presise it definetely turns (even) less. Looking forward to see what setups CD can come up with.
All in all, i expect the Evo 2 to take over for the regular Evo for me, it is just like an old pair of jeans after this many hours and a car i just default too.
As for the Porsche, i don't really like the looks of this one, the nose looks very much pancaked to me, and i am not really a fan of THAT much rear end weight, i find it rather challenging to drive still.
it does sound rather glorious though
Bit of an edit: HAd lots of overtime so not much time to drive but i really hope CD gets setups for the Evo 2 fast. Raced on Kayalami last night and it was downright bad. Just for curiosity jumped into the 992 for the next race and it was like day and night, both on just the agressive setups. So much lighter to drive.
Yeah i race i leagues. It's more like a ferrari cup right now
Loved hearing about your opinion on this, especially for the new Porsche. Haven't tried thr updat snd DLC myself yet but looking forward to it tomorrow. And yes the 992 engine is indeed the same one as in the 991 and also the Cayman GTS 4.0 And GT4 RS. Though it now has 4.2L of displacement instead of the 4.0L in the previous iterations. They also mounted the entire drivetrain at an angle. That means there is more space on the lower back of the car available for a bigger diffuser which results in more underbody aero grip and with that they were able to reduce the rear wing size a little for less drag and more top speed. I love how little changes like that can have such a big impact as this car is finally not a turtle on long straights anymore. :D
Im very excited to give ACC a try and coming from mostly Iracing I absolutely love GT3 cars and Porsche to be specific and I could never get the Porsches in acc right. I’ve heard great things about the new Porsche excited to give it a rip! Great video man!
great vid!,, i love the close racing :)
I feel like that despite going a little under the radar compared to the Porsche and the Ferrari, the Lambo is one of the best parts of this DLC - it feels and sounds great. Spent a few good hours yesterday driving it.
I like this update, the curbs are much better, rather than previously bouncing off them. It feels much better imo.
Couldn't even go two corners with the Porsche without spinning out before this update. Gotta get my hands on the new one and try it out!
Can't wait Mike, but given the length of the video - I'm saving this one to watch later, so I can watch the whole thing uninterrupted. ; )))
Well I watched the video in more detail now Mr SimRacing604 - and ironically your opening sentences made me think of something I'd never considered before. It's when you said this "First Major Update for 2023". As I always thought of ACC like most other Race Sims, meaning they have a clear END-DATE? to them. But your wording suddenly made me realise that ACC could be open-ended, provided they improved other aspects of the Sim - simply by continuing to release 23 DLC / 2024 DLC / 25 DLC etc..... so wonder how far they'll take it now???
steering lock for the 911 and 992?
The Ferrari back end has a retro look. I actually like it.
Nice one Mike. I don't really play ACC...but thanks for this.
What is the music used at the beginning?
Great video, can't wait to try out ACC. I'm on XBOX so not as good as PC but better than nothing.
Hey, I noticed the Lambos engine mapping was on 4. Is this the fastest setting for it?
Haven’t touched my sim rig in months, might have to dust it off for this. You sold me 😂
I'm a subscriber and really like your content. can you let me know what settings you are using, AI difficulty and aggression setting. thank you.
Nice recap.. I'm going to DL the update.. should be cool..
Can you do a video on the updated merc?
Just got done trying the cars and I’m glad the Porsche is drivable this time
As you say, your graphics settings really could do with some @Boosted Media love, but that said, why is it still so hard to get ACC looking decent? Weird shadows, transparent trees that pop-in (or gain depth/shadow) - with the updated physics, I think the visual aspects of ACC are the biggest thing keeping me from turning to it as much as my other favourites.
It is all just down to your graphics settings, like any other game or sim on PC.
Bought the DLC, haven't tried then yet. Thanks for the vid! Are your cars floating just off the ground?
I love using the Porsche, it's incredible
Tire pressure are low but they are in the range 26-27. More pressure harder sidewall lower pressures softer sidewall
I'm a bad acc driver who recently started driving the last porsche and having much better results than other cars... it's actually not hard to drive at all with a good setup. Just trying out the new porsche today had me smiling.
Excellent video as always. Thank you.
What Brake pedals you using. I've have the 3DRap Ngasa pedals and I'm struggling a little with the set up and the settings.
I like how the cars brake. What is your BB and the ABS settings. If you could.
They made the front look good for drivers in front has something cool to look at in the mirrors lmao
the ass end of that ferrari reminds me of the front end of a kia soul
I thought it was just one car in the update not 3, Makes it a bit more worth while getting now, After installing a NVME M.2 in my PC yesterday, My PC is running sweet, I never realized putting a M.2 in would improve the gameplay so much, Now ACC is running great so I am actually thinking of getting this new DLC update soon as possible, Everything is crazy expensive here in the UK, So little money is big money at the moment, lol, I want to upgrade my graphics card and steering wheel, But again it's the cost, lol, Sim Racing can get to be an expensive hobby, Even if it is a great hobby, lol....
I will get this update now I know it got 3 cars...
I am digging AMS2 now my PC is running good, Had some great fun on AMS2 yesterday, The Stock cars are amazing...
Is there any news on AC2, On the release dates??
And Again, ACC needs a Nürburgring Nordsliefe DLC, As a bonus or something, People will pay good money for a Nords DLC, I know I would, The closest thing is prob AMS2 to ACC, Its prob what makes AMS2 so good, Isn't it the same physics engine, ACC and AMS2??
Again a great video bro,
Yeah ACC needs the ring, Endurance as a bonus DLC because I would buy it....
Any video with Imola and Lambo sounds works for me :p
Enjoyed the video. Did u happen to test the update on the Mercedes AMG GT3 EVO? I liked it better than the Ferrari and Lamborghini. Porsche is very nice.
0:34 Sorry, those cars looking like hovercrafts! Thank god my graphics card doesn't do this, it would kill me🤣
The 296 NEEDS the round tail lights that are the spotting feature for Ferraris, because everyone else is seeing them from behind
Lol I was in a Monza pub lobby and the lead Ferrari was doing a high 46!!! Forty SIX, christ almighty
Nothing stays forever.
How he makes it look great? A 4090 + DLSS + 65" Monitors :D
i think the ferrari is very slidy..... but i guess i just need to get a grip of actually tuning the cars in game lol
I feel like I'm crazy lol every content creator always goes on about how Porsches are harder to handle and so on, but for me it's actually the car that sticked with my driving style the most, i feel it more agile and gives me confidence to drive it harder and i make less mistakes than say the with GTR , the Ferrari etc now the 911 cup car yeah that mf will spin you out at a moment's notice 😂
Have they sorted the AI that acts like your not there
They still punt you out a corner sometimes.
They move in the braking zones all the time
Still a lexus guy here good or bad i love it
It's top speed advantage is gone :(
Bruv I don't think you are average/below average, I think you are being too modest there!
The AI still sucks.
