Summer: 4 hrs Soak & 4 hrs Fermentation more than enough
Winter 4-5 hrs soak & 7 hrs fermentation max needed
Thanks for letting everybody know. I think they allways say 24 hours but I wondered what is true. U seem to have experimented and found the right time.

Can I use the batter that in the fridge immediately or I have to let it out a room temperature beforw making dosa?
Once fermented u can store in fridge (upto 2 days) and prepare dosa immediately..... Infact Cool batter gives crisper dosa😋😋😋 when compared to room temperature

Do not keep for more than two days. Beyond normal fermentation the batter starts to stink. First 24 hours, good. After 48 hours, Great, spectacular. After that - yuck.

Yes you can....the batter can be without dal......soak rice and grind to a fine paste..the batter has to be very watery.....pour a ladle full of it on a dosa pan ...cover it with a lid for a while till the sides rise up...this dosa is called neer dosa...neer meaning water...

12 hours are enough to ferment ।even some place 7-8 hours are enough
Depend karta hai season konsa chalu hai
Exactly 8 hours is enough, this is only good for who like little sour dosa. Batter also will not last for many days. Generally make brown rice dosa comes very crispy.
8 hours in very hot and humid climate. 24 hours for normal condition. Best is 48 hours because the batter reaches its peak maturity. Just experiment and see yourself.

fridge me 3-4 din tak thik rehta hai. Kuchh log hafte bhar rakh kar khate hain.
Mai recommend karunga ki 2 din tak ferment karna sahi rehta hai. Uske baad dosa banate samay badboo aati hai.
