Nothing on adjusting it when first get one of these bikes because I didn't start mine yet an when I pop it in first hold in the clutch it's real hard to roll it when I pop in neutral it rolls fine n dandy
@@808pyrokka3 the little spring that goes in the center of the clutch basket wasn't seated. It fell out of the case when I took it off and the locking nut had 1 tooth that was really bent sideways. Bike had only been rode ONCE!
Mine makes a rattling noise to i replaced the clutch and it didn’t go away so i don’t know what to do im probably just gonna replace the motor with a 140cc
Awsome videos. Very detailed and easy to understand and follow. Question..I have the same bike. But a problem I kewp running into is anytime I go to rev the gas it bogs. It doest if I rev slow and even but if I twist to fast it will bog. I have a Nibbi carb thats pretty dialed in but still same result. Any recommendations? Ty
how did you get the lock nut loosened so easily? i attached the lock nut tool to a drill like you did and im having no luck. attached it to a breaker bar and still no luck, can't get any leverage on the clutch basket that you are holding. i will see if it works on a ratchet. The chinese overtightened it and i am struggling to get it loosened.
Hey boss thanks for the video it's great information. I ordered the clutch plates instead of the complete assembly. I ordered two sets of plates because I assume since it had 3 than I need 3 plates to go back in. Is this correct? Or should I only use two plates like the complete assembly comes with? Thanks in advance! Hope to hear from you!
So what did you end up installing 3 plates or 2 did you need to buy 3 plates or two plates my bike has 3 friction plates I can only find 2 plates for sale on eBay there's one seller that sells 3 plates but one of the plates doesn't match thanks
GREAT VID! got a question tho. the link to buy plates alone doesnt show the correct plates like the ones are required. its either the frictiion plate doesnt have teeth or the clutch plates dont. if u have any that are correct send me the link please. thanks man
Gonna have to do my clutch here pretty soon actually. Ssr 125 the clutch won't ingage when I try and get out of first. So I'm gonna start with the cable bc the kid I got it from only had it for 3 months before selling it it's a 2021 ssr so I'm hoping it's just the cable being stretched out bc it's a piece of shit cable lol
question anybody know why on the apollo 125cc pitbike when i hold the clutch down it takes off on its on ...i mean when i hold the clutch put it in first gear an without letting go the clutch the rpms go up high like the bikes is trying to gas on its own i almost killed myself the other day the bike was gasing on its on in first gear anayone know y thanks
Idle screw is too tight, back up the screw just enough so that the bike doesn’t die and holds idle. If the screw is too tight it will rev by itself. Hope this helped
though you could try just letting it idle a bit and pulling the clutch in a few times, might hlp but idk im going to try that in a minute actually so i can tell you if it works or not :)
@@taco8680 could also be that the throttle cale needs to be relocated, turning my bike to the right (right only) would pull the cable and rev by itself.
That was clearly the best clutch replacement video that I saw on TH-cam, thank you very much.
