- I have only seen a handful of these videos and I decided to make mine.
I am not a professional and this was my first time changing a clutch on this type of 200 250cc engine.
Video was put together with nothing messed with in between to make the end product work, this is a legit fix for a bad clutch.
Video may be long and kind of annoying to watch but I like to document all the steps if possible. Thank you for watching

Thanks so much sports that hasfor putting this up, I have an Elstar 250 sports that has basicaly the same set up, I wasnt sure about removing the round part on the right of the clutch, now I know. Cheers from Australia.
My tao tao rhino 250 looks exactly the same. I broke the clutch cable, replaced it and it acted like the clutch would not engage, it died as soon as i put in gear. I assumed a bad clutch, ordered it and replaced, and it is doing the same thing, dies when i pit it in gear. Any suggestions?
Does this engine have a wire coming out of the bottom case right below the exhaust port on the case? This is the first chinese motor I found that is what I can see so far the same as I have...I can't find any info on mine....mine has no Kickstart..it came out of a 4 wheeler that was shaft drive
I just picked up a similar one 07 kancharo 250cc I need this video for the clutch😂 thanks
What’s that piece called for the clutch removal tool ? The flat disk with the three screws ?
I'm not 100% what it's called I'm sorry
Tanks men
Hello, may i ask where did you buy the clutch kit, mine is deteriorating, when i engage to gear 1, it moves but very slowly, that funny tool, where can i purchase. Please help.
How many gears are there
Are these 6 plate clutches and how many teeth on the gear I’m seeing different ones I’m gunna be replacing mine I just wanna make sure I get the right one I have the same exact motor
I believe it is 6 plates, the teeth im not 100% sure, if you check the description it should lead you to the exact item I bought. Hope this helps
Hi, I have a problem with the atv 200, that rod doesn't work from the clutch, I had a bent spring and I straightened it and put the cover back, wouldn't the clutch work
Did you fix it?
Is that a 4 up transmission
Whats the engine code on that quad?
You might not get back to my comment, but will the clutch u linked in the description fit my 250cc rhino? I took mine apart and looks identical to your engine/clutch. For some reason my clutch cable snapped and im not sure what it could be so i want to go ahead replace the clutches. Let me knoe ASAP!!
It should fit, im not super sure but I believe the rhinos are similar to this set up. If it was just your clutch cable that snapped did you try replacing that first?
@@builtbyk i took apart the clutch out of curiosity and put it back together and installed the new clutch cable but now the bike acts like if all gears were neutrals and it can be in any gear while its off and itll act like if its in neutral so not sure what happened but im waiting on the new clutch to be installed hopefully that fixes it
@@builtbyk also which type of fluid did u fill it
Up with? And where could i get it at
@@lopezjavier3815 it does sound like clutch issues, I would make sure to put everything back in place. Also the oil I used was 10w 40 4t Mobil 1
Snap ring pliers
Father come home! I need oats
You good?
Sorry but you put 1 clutch plate in a wrong place cheke the video again before you removed it and after you put the new one how it is
Don't worry I never missed putting together any pieces, clutch worked perfectly as it should. Maybe you misinterpreted that part of the video.
@@builtbyk sadly he is correct, you missed the first one, the static plate/starting plate see 5:11 vs 15:58. Its no big problem, the first plate is supposed to be in offset but its gonna work either way. Usually that one wears out first.
