Can a bad clutch make it hard too kick start? Sometimes when kickstarting my pit bike it’s almost impossible to kick start can’t kick it over so I would need too hold the clutch in spin it freely a couple times because I’m holding the clutch then eventually I’ll attempt it releasing the clutch in different positions and I’ll be able to kick start it and spins the engine as it should
I stripped the threads on the part where you screw in the locking nut what is that part called I’m having trouble looking for a replacement I’m talking about that gold colored looking part
I have this exact same bike and it recently started making a horrible grinding noise when I’m riding it slowly do you know what this problem may be by any chance ?
I’ve only had it for about a couple months now it’s still pretty much brand new. The bike seems to grind in every gear but mainly when going at a slow speed once I speed up the noise seems to go away. The clutch has no problem engaging , I already checked the flywheel to see if it was loose but everything is still bolted on firmly. I’m really confused as to what else may be the problem. The noise does sound like it’s coming from the front wheel but nothing seems off when I checked it. The spokes are all tightened and my brake pads are still good no signs of wearing down or damage to the front rotor?
I did not expect to find a helpful video on this. Great work!
Just what I was looking for! 👍
Appreciate the feedback
Follower earned also i have done this and now it makes a loud clicking sound when i release my clutch fast would you happen to know why ?
I do not know the history of your bike. You, can Inspect the clutch plates for wear.
What if the clutch arm itself just don't have enough tension and it's a brand new motor. Can I adjust that? Or do I need to replace parts?
Fine tuning I can't even get it to roll in gear squeezing the clutch all the way
I lost that adjustment screw thats in the case you took off do you know where i could a replacement i really need one

Generally, no, bogging down is due to fuel delivery

hard to tell. Need to know the history of the bike. Possible gears or bearing issues

Interesting, ask some one else to look at it, may help @@Recklez_j
I have the same problem, I believe it is the clutch slipping
Helpful tips! 👍
Appreciate the feed back
Your questions are vague. You do not have a clutch? Need more info. Brand, model more details @ZaidanKind-iz3om
