Good video. I think a good way to say this is that you screw the flat head adjustment screw out until it’s well loose and then back in until it’s “seated”. You will feel it go from no resistance to seated. Then if you were to keep tightening it you know you’re adding a lot. I’ll play around with the adjustment and report back.

I'm willing to buy multiple parts to replace the stock parts that come on the Apollo I just don't know what to get. I have bought a new chinese 125cc pit bike. Clutch does not fully engage after all the adjustments. Seller does not give warranty for a transmission. What to do? :(
If you slipped the clutch a bunch before getting it set right you can glaze the discs and theyll never mesh together again after. Youd need a new clutch in that scenario
Or you were riding around with not enough oil. But if you were inside the engine id assume you had drained the oil to pull the casing off. So in that case its normal that its dry ( since you drained the oil)

If the kickstarter wont turn over, you either A, broke the teeth on the kickstarter shaft and its jammed. Or you blew your engine and the piston is seized. Does the bike bump start? If so its just the broken kick start shaft/teeth

I know that if the bike clutch hasnt been actuated a couple times to get oil through the clutch pack it wont matter how much you adjust it because the clutch pack is sticking together. Start the bike up, use the clutch a couple times to free the clutch pack and get oil through it, then set it
I have an Apollo 125CC dbx and I just changed the carburetor two-way Mikuni 26 mm on my old carburetor on the needle was set at the top on the new carburetor it was set the second from the top it didn't work so I put it at the top and it still idles way too high and I put aftermarket fuel screw you know the red one from Amazon
Get on line if it is hard to pull and it is not the cable you can get a little box that hooks to the cable at the lever end it says easy clutch at least the one on my 490 Yamaha yz does but I don't see why a smaller bike would need one a screw fell out of mine on the trail and I had to take it off and just put the cable on without it u better b a hell of a man all i can do to pull it in and it not on there so when I got home i put it back on the clutch is huge in the bike it is the definition of evil better not try that bike if you are a beginer.

Tbh just dont be rough on the bike and maybe itll last. Mine destroyed itself after a year of enduro

The vm22 might be a little small for a 125cc.
I ran a vm24 on my 125cc
Never heard of a z40 before. If its the same 125 lifan engine all the parts are interchangeable
Also be gentle on the shifter, they have weak transmissions

It should yes, but sometimes the clutch packs get sticky when its cold

The upgraded foldable levers give you a better pull leverage on it

Itll prevent it from rusting together. You want it to be lubricated with something along the lines of never seize. ( a type of grease)

To my knowledge they dont sell individual pieces of a carb. If you have the stock carb its junk and i swapped a genuine vm24 mikuni carb onto my bike
i replaces clutch cable and handle. Then adjusted clutch like in video. On a ride after downshifting the back tire is locking up now

When you change gears does the bike want to move if u hit the gas?
If u can sit stationary and put it in different gears and the bike doesn’t stall, sounds like the engines not engaged with the clutch/transmission

I have a db17 125 changed carburetor now when I ride for awhile it loses speed/acceleration do u have any idea why
sounds like you're running the bike really lean and the bikes overheating causing loss of power? Thats my best guess from your description
Should the clutch be oiled?? Mine was dry and had dirt in there :(
The clutch gets oiled by the engine oil. It’s important to do frequent oil changes.
Or you were riding around with not enough oil. But if you were inside the engine id assume you had drained the oil to pull the casing off. So in that case its normal that its dry ( since you drained the oil)
The dirt on the other hand is from the air filter you have sucking in debris into the engine. Upgrade your air filter

You have the clutch pressure set too tight. You need to back off the black flat head screw. Make your you loosen the 10mm nut on it first.

The needle clip position has nothing to do with idle speed
