When I was 11, I was obsessed with nature. I went on a week long trip with my school and since I had no friends at the time, I talked to a tree named Larry. Me and Larry were very similar. Larry was alone because he was a type of tree that had some sort of chemicals that prevented other trees from growing near it. Larry was huge and was struck by lightning once and had a large scar. This could trigger some people but I had recently been through a lot and I had scars too. I always talked to Larry about my problems and he talked back. It never got boring talking to him for hours.
Bro I just realized something.. A long time ago, I was at an award ceremony for softball and this girl I was friends with (her name was Iris) said that she talked to trees. She brought me to the tree farthest from everyone and began talking to it. She told me that he talked back but he was just shy and she would also see magical creatures like Fairies and Elves. Now that I'm studying Witchcraft, I realized that this can be true
I had this tree named shella and she was a willow and I used to sit and talk to her she would tell me that I needed to find my path... I forgot about this until now. She was lonely and the closest tree to her didn’t like her because she spoke the truth. I asked before I climbed her and she would only let me no one else could. I remember her...I wanna visit her
I talk to trees, my favourite tree is one outside my house, nobody knows i speak to her. Her name is Delilah and she is an oak. Honestly she got me through my depression, my parents split up and i never realised how much it affected me. Ive spoken to her every day for 3 years and she talks back. 🌺🌸🥀🌹💫
My brother threw a stick at me and i literally yelled, "THIS IS THE PERFECT WAND" I could just tell it was meant to be. i sanded it down and made it how i wanted it and I'm gonna burn in the pentacle. i just knew it was meant for me and to be used as my wand
I had no idea this was a thing. You've sucked me in for sure. I'm not very familiar with Wicca and I didn't believe it was real until I met a real witch and lived with her for a few months. I had serious, serious intense anxiety and she took me outside during a full moon and asked me to raise my hand and put it against hers and this calm washed over me and I really did feel better. She taught me so much and really showed me a world in which I may never have seen otherwise. As a species and especially in America, we've lost touch with the earth and nature and genuine roots.
Z0mbi3Peach that is an amazing experience, thanks for sharing. I don't practice wiccan but the full moon makes me feel anxious and sometimes super nauseated. I think it holds a lot of energy and u guys were able to direct it in a positive way.
False, temporal remedy. Acts 4:12...might not seem as "instant" or "fun", but eternity is so much longer than this physical life. I urge you to reconsider.
Since I was a little child, I felt something unique about nature. Sometimes I just left my friends and stayed back to just look at leaves and search pictures in them And ever since then, I always felt, after a friend leaving me, or when I experienced loss in general, that nature is always there for me. I even felt the need to "make up a religion based on the worshipping of nature" but I found myself stupid, obviously I couldn't do that. I always had strong love towards gods, I mean the celtic ones. And then, when I sterted reading a book about them and had a crystall collection (I always loved them) I hear about wicca. It's like "oh so that's what I was looking for" Thank you for showing me this wonderful religion. Also, of course, your makeup is fantastic again :D And you are so respectful, sweet and kind.. Really, I'm so glad I found you. Thank you.
May I suggest "To Walk a Pagan Path" by Alaric Albertsson :). It is very general and has excellent information for all levels on how to practice spirituality in daily life :).
pebble Sorry I'm just a beginner :) I literally decided to learn things a month ago. That's nothing. ^This comment I made was about how I felt in the moment of realization. I learnt so much since :') Harmony has a video about book recommendations. I'd prefer that if I were you :)
I have had those exact feelings since I was about four! I am still in touch with nature and animals. I'll be walking to gather sticks and rocks. And there's just this random cat that follows me. It hates everyone else. Hisses when people come near it. But for me. It just walks besides me. I can pet it. I can even run and it's not scared. Sometimes I talk to it. I think it's listens.
I have been a witch my whole life with no understanding or desire for a wand. Then earlier this year a dear friend gave me a crystal wand and it has very quickly become a big part of my practice. It just goes to show that when the right tools find us is when we are meant to work with them. Lovely video, peace and love.
HEY BABES, just a heads up, sorry if this gets complicated at parts, i tried my hardest to make it as simple as possible, lots of love my beans xoxoxoxox
Harmony Nice Are you using for the candle also candlemagick? Are you selecting the candles and their colors on purpose when using your wand or make a circle? Love ya bean 🌻🍕😄🕯 keep up the good work thanks for sharing 🌳🌹🔮
Cynistrelle Winter she certainly seems to be quite the hands on, bright, and inquisitive witch! (i feel bad for using that word ahh i don't wanna use the wrong word??)
My wand is made out of a branch from my childhood tree were I would spend hours upon end making "potions", playing with the fairies, talking to animals, in between other things that I have now realized are extremely witchy
I saw someone else’s comment about how to they used to talk to trees and SAME In Georgia, we have pine trees (huge farms of them actually), peach trees (Peachtree City, peach state) and just your other types of trees, like a live oak. But whenever it was time to play outside, I’d either play with my dolls or go play with the nature (until I got in trouble for it >_>). I’d press my hand to the tree, take in a deep breath and I felt this positive energy coursing through me. I was always afraid the ants would bite me for touching their walking space but they always went around my hand. Sometimes I would just pick up leaves just to look at how beautiful they were and talk to trees about how big and strong they were. Idk I like trees
If you are looking for a form of magick that you can actually use in real life to get sh-t done, look up “Unlocking the Secrets of Sorcery” on Amazon. When I say get sh-t done, I mean more than the type of effect you would get from prayer, which is what witchcraft these days has become. So, if you want to be far ahead of any fluffy-bunny magick practitioner, get this book.
mine is made of petrified seaweed, i grew up near the coast :) its so hard to carve though! i had no idea it would be so dense and heavy, but i love mine :)
Mine is made of olive wood because one of my deities is Athena and she brought olives into the world during a fight with Poseidon over who got to name Athens (obviously she won 😆)
That's beautiful! My family goes to a lake in the summer, my grandma and her sister own a cottage there that the whole family can visit. Maybe I will try to make a seaweed wand.
when I made my first wand I used dogwood from a tree in use to play on as a kid, lost feathers from a bule Jay that lives near me, string my father gave me, and a crystal that was my brothers. I love the wand for it feels very personal.
jesus is king just so you know, I’m a Christian and believe in God and Jesus, but I believe as long as you don’t worship Satan, than you will still be loved🤷🏻♀️ (I still respect your beliefs)
I used to talk to trees i would sing to them and they did what i said I stopped because everyone thought i was crazy Im gonna make my wand out of that tree
I went wand hunting in the woods. Instead of finding a piece of wood, I walked upon the carcass of a deer I took a bone from it after saying a blessing prayer and sprinkling tobacco from cigarettes on to the bones. The wand proves to be quite useful and personally I feel a stronger bond using that wand compared the wooden wands I've used before.
Wicca is just one of the many religions that practice witchcraft, and it is very focused on the goddess, so practising it means you believe in this specific goddess as a main religious force. Pantheons are something you will have to study and get experience with, so don't worry. If you really want to practice something, studying is the first and most important step. About your home situation: You need to respect the rules you have at home, even if they don't respect your beliefs. You can always practice it secretly, which is how almost every witch starts. Or you can just wait until you move out. What I recommend is studying other kinds of witchcraft, like Natural Witchcraft, that does not have any God or Goddess, just Nature itself. Anyone that wants to join this magical experience being a witch is, contact me. My Instagram account is @_dudamartinss_
Sierra Shaffer I live in an unexcepting household and the best advice I can give you, is just pass it off as different hobbies. Explain all your crystals as just a hobby of crystal collecting, say that you just really love sented candles, say that you just really want to take up gardening for when you grow your herbs, etc. And also, you can make a smaller alter and keep it in a mint tin. Just Google "Wiccan Alter Mint Tin" and you should find more information on that.
I was heavily interested in Wicca at one point but due to life stuff I decided it would be easier to begin my journey with a less strict part of Pagan beliefs. Im being deliberately vague with my choices so I don't skew you on your search but maybe you can research other Pagan beliefs while you're in a situation where Wicca isn't welcomed.
Sierra Shaffer go to a relevant library and read read read. That way you can create your own practice with that education. Keep a separate book to make notes in. Once you've got a basic history you could move into online research although online info can be tricky/ biased/ boloney. My point is: I think if you become more educated and clear on what is important to you, you can find a way to incorporate it into your practice around your life where your family will not be involved/ opposed/ in a place to object/ violate your choices 😊
I get scared because when I was younger I had researched Wicca and Witchcraft when I had someone do something really shitty to me and attempted a curse on them and a week later I saw a dramatic effect and now a few years later something worse has happened and I do get freaked out that I didn't realise what I was doing all those years ago.. I would brush it off but my natural instinct when the bad thing happened to me was to look into spells, without any prior interest or motivation
Cinabuni I'm not Wiccan or a Witch, but as a sort of penance, why don't you turn towards more healing magicks and do more good in your community? Tbh I don't think you're at fault, but if it makes you feel better you should do that.
I don't believe in the 3 fold rule or the 10 fold rule. Shit happens. If you curse someone for being a shitty person, just make sure that your good deeds outweigh your negative deeds. Otherwise you will feel guilt when the spell works it's magic. Try picking up trash in the community and doing spell work to positively affect your community. If you notice a friend or family going through a hard time finding a job, do a prosperity spell for them to help them
My wands are nothing more than branches off of my ash tree in the front yard. LOL. My staff is off of my 65 foot tall golden poinciana tree. I also have a cane that is natural. I don't decorate them up. They are as the gods gave them to me. Pure. Undecorated. I take the bark off, clean them up, and use oils to keep them supple, but I don't add crystals, or paint, or carve them. Well I did on my staff, but that was something the gods asked me to do. By the way....I've been an eclectic solitary pagan witch with a mostly Egyptian pantheon for 45 years. I'm an old crone now. LOL.
When I was little, I used to play in the woods with my dog, and like just playing and running and stuff, but I fell when I ran for a bit because there was a big tree root. And I found myself a very beautiful stick in front of me, Idk why but it wasn't covered with rubies or gems, just a plain clean stick that is a little bit bent and pointy on top. I was SO drawn to the stick that I had to touch or get it and claim it as mine. I kept it in my room and felt a little bit different aura in the air and years passed since we moved houses, I lost it and I am now longing for that strange aura again
I'm pretty new to magic so I checked what my birth tree is. Weeping Willow. I've never been around a weeping willow. I'm probably gonna use a story that I'm doing some excuse to get mom to but me some weeping willow to make my wand out of. None of my family (Excluding my grandma) really believe in magic.
Can you make a video all about "birth trees"? I have looked around the internet and I keep finding different trees for each month, I can't find a site that has each tree for every month or the correct tree for that month : /. Thanks, I love you so much Harmony, you're beautiful!! xoxo ❤
www.wishingmoon.com/tree-zodiac-signs-whats-your-celtic-tree-astrology-sign/ I used this one to find mine, it matches up with some sources but you can always feel more connected to different trees
Becky Rose, I’m sorry I offended you by correcting your grammar. I see you made a point and I do not necessarily disagree with it. I respect what you said and I apologise by insulting you in any way, I understand the point you made with me replying to old comments. Please forgive me if I wasted your time. Blessed be.
I remember when I was like 5 or 6 years old my family was going to make wands and if I am remembering this correctly there was a bit of a different procedure to it. We never got to finish them because my family became Christian again and threw them away ☹️ but my Mom explained some of what was going to happen which I thought was really cool. My parents were going to leave the wood and crystals we had bought outside under the full moon, for cleansing, then they had planned on charging the wood with the crystals that we had picked out. I don’t know how exactly I just remember being super excited then totally bummed when we stopped, but hey thanks for posting this it is something I have really wanted to do for a long time and it is good to have more info since I don’t really know what I am doing. Again thank you for making videos on something that I have felt a really strong connection to since my childhood 😋.
Dang that's so disappointing I agree Hope your family gets to practice Magick again in future Usually religion kinda bores things out honestly (IDK why ) , but I believe everyone can practice Magick as long it's positive 👍
So I’m of the opinion that wands are from a combination of elements Wood: earth, water Bone: spirit, earth, water, air POSSIBLY fire? Crystal: earth plus depending on the color, that adds more elements, for example, an amethyst wand would be earth and spirit, blue quartz would be earth and water, etc Stone: earth and depending on where it’s found, that add elements(beach stone, water and earth, found on the street, earth and spirit, etc.) Shell: earth water and spirit

@@boop8685 Because that's what it is. I was never trying to hide the fact I was promoting my book. No secret. My mistake though, I should have never come to a fluffy-bunny channel expecting anyone to be interested in a book on authentic/serious magick. It's all good. No loss.
I love how you say "local Pagan shop" like everywhere has at least one haha.. the only places I can think of having a pagan shop would be Brighton (because its Brighton), or London, (because what isn't in London).. All this Wicca stuff seems way more my thing than any other spiritual thing I have come across so far! thanks for the great videos!
Tom Murley i live in a relatively small town in Berkshire and we have one! Sometimes they can be fairly rare or more subtle because of the stigma around Wicca There’s always occult suppliers online too!
I have an ad for one under the video, lol. Look around, you will probably find something. If you can’t find any, ask people. You should at least be able to find someone at a renfaire or other event. Talk to them and do some networking. Or just ask your local coven.
I have a wand made of dogwood. I hollowed out the handle to give it a core made of crow feather and a small piece of citron stone, 12 inches. I was inspired by Harry Potter to put the ingredients inside the wand, sealed at the handle. I like to whittle and I like to do woodwork, so please don't let that comment turn you away. On the outside, it looks fairly boring. But I'm not flashy. I've found it to be very effective. But you are 100% correct, it is unique to the individual. I get great results with nearly everything I do, my peers on the other hand will sometimes try to copy my methods, and it won't work for them. I tell everyone, you HAVE to find your own way. It's a gift and a curse. One piece of advice, if you do carve your own from raw wood, I highly encourage you to put lacquer or some other protective agent on the wood. I understand that this makes it slightly unnatural, and it's not a good ingredient to put on a magical object, but it will protect the wood from being stained or breaking down. My grandmother had a wand, made from Apple. But thus far, none of us have been able to get it to work for us, so it stays put up. When left out, the "poltergeist" effect occurs. I guess the wand misses her as much as we do. But, to be honest, my broom gets more use. A lot of people underestimate the broom as a tool. Yes, it does cleanse a space, but it can also carry a spirit of its own, and can greatly aid in out-of-body experiences, astral projection, and sending energy at great distances or communicating with people telepathically from a distance. My broom is basically my wand. Incidentally, its also made of dogwood. That was a coincidence though, because my broom was made for me by a very good friend. I've made changes to it, I've added Japanese maple, meadowsweet, and marjoram (in the bristles) with tiny quartz, onyx, and amethyst crystals hanging off the midsection on a 5 inch string. I also bless it once a month with an adornment of fresh mint (to keep him happy). My familiar, which I keep bound to a poppet, stays with it regularly. Probably my most sentimental magical item I regularly use. But, to each their own. I have a friend who ordered a very expensive wand, long and slender, made entirely out of a carved piece of magnetite. Very different route.
I don't know what to do because I'm only 13 but I love Wicca and would love to follow it as a religion. My mom said I can research it but she doesn't want me to become a Wiccan. What should I do? (She's also catholic so that may be why?)
Research it and once you think you've learnt enough to be able to explain it to her, do that :) If she's ok with you researching it, it means she's not completely against it, but just doesn't know enough about and so she's cautious. Even though she's your mother she can't stop you from believing in something, just like you can't stop her from believing in what she believes :)
She must be explained to. People have a shady view of Wicca and it's practices. You must know first that we are all open to Wicca as it is not really a religion. It is probably the most scientifically accurate and as well as the most nonviolent practice EVER. If you want to start out, you should find your element. Your element can be the following four: Earth, Air, Fire, Water. Also (through time) try to find your strengths and weaknesses in Magick arts. I myself am a crystal healer/Child of wind. You might have the gift of sight, or the elements and even healing, it all depends on how you were made and what you were made to do. Love to all! -ArionsCauldron
Read read read. Read every book and pdf you can find in magick wicca spells of all kinds from all practices. Read magikal philosophy, listen to some alan watts perhaps, read the toadbone treatise. Basically the more you learn the clearer your path will become. One day you can have your own rules, and can practice anything you wish. Good luck to you
Oh forgot to mention, check out scribd.com. tons of free pdfs on magick of all kinds. Or you could subscribe to it and get even more info. I personally downloaded almost 2gigs of books my 1st visit .
perfect timing, I was gathering my wood for my wand during the eclipse here in America yesterday thinking I wish my favorite wiccan would make a video on wands (; thank you loved it!
I don't yet feel a connection to any specific tree/wood but I do feel an immense connection to drift wood, what are your opinions on making a wand of driftwood
My wand is VERY water-aligned. I have a pearl set in the handle and I collected the wood from a riverside and have a shell-shaped locket attached to it too. We all have to take our power where we find it!
I honestly didn't even know that Wiccans existed. I myself am a Christian but I definitely want to understand more about yous spirituality (is that what you'd call this?) (this isn't meant to be rude I just genuinely want to know more about wicca)
I'm meant to be catholic, I've never felt connected with the bible or church and when I was really young I was drawn to runes and wasn't allowed to get any because I'm "catholic" since I'm older now I received them from my mum as a gift and now I am extremely interested in wicca
Katie Wilson same here... every time I go to church I can't connect with whatever the priest is saying and my church has a lot of politics and hypocrisy underneath the cheery and bright exterior. I feel a stronger pull towards paganism, though I'm not sure what denomination I would follow in the future. For now I just have to wait out my childhood as my parents are really strong catholics...
Abby Miller it's really a religions just as your Catholicism most are polytheistic which means we have multiple gods or goddesses everything revolves around nature
Mrs. Cullen Rutherford you can find her dusty filter and flares on an app called afterlight!♡ She also sharpens her images alot as well. Her particular editing is very unique because she may use multiple programs for her photos!
Mrs. Cullen Rutherford I disguise my Wicca as a geology hobby and a love of mythology so it seems normal that I have things like crystals and dreamcatchers I also use Yankee candles so it seems normal that I have them. I keep my alter In a geology set to keep it hidden. Edit: lol replied to the wrong comment
I made my first wand before I even started to learn about wicca or witchcraft. I was out walking one day and I found a stick I just felt great connection to. After a while of having it in my home I thought “hey! I have a bunch of little crystals that would be perfect!” so I spent a lot of time putting the crystals into the knots of the stick and the bottom. I kept feeling it need something a bit more and I spent a long time deciding what else I wanted to do. I eventually decided I wanted to wrap certain areas in white wool. It is very special to me and has a great connection, perfect now that I have actually starting looking into wicca!
I started making my first wand! A branch fell from my favorite tree which is the one that my parents bought my childhood home over in my front yard. Dad cut it up for me I'm just trying to figure out how to carve it and how to stick my quartz point on it. Excited!
I actually used to have a wand but I didn't know how to use it. I mean it was a single metal chopstick that my mom had found and given to me, so it was a sort of cool story, so I thought it would be ok to use it for my wand. I charged it with my own personal energy but I was a baby witch at the time and (even now, sometimes) rarely did circles or rituals. I only ever used it to cast circles or to stir magical oils I was making. Eventually I couldn't charge it anymore, it just never felt like it took any energy, almost like a phone battery that's been plugged up 24/7 and no longer can hold a charge. I just wound up discarding it. Now I'm looking into getting/making another, and actually using it properly, consecrating it and all. I have no idea if I'm connected to any trees; I'm a secular eclectic witch who specializes in sea witchcraft, so I may try to get ahold of a piece of driftwood or something. Anyway, this video was really helpful. Thank you for making this series!! (also your makeup is literally ALWAYS on point)
Thank you for telling me, I was unaware. You are a hero, you must sleep so well at night knowing that you do so many good things for so many people. Have a blessed day.
My whole wand situation is so random and fun. I could be walking down a street and see a pile of sticks, but one stick in particular will just call to me. And my brain is just like ''Take it. Take the Stick.'' It has lead me to ending up with massive amounts of sticks or other natural objects in my room that I find 'satisfying' or I have a connection to.
Personally my personal wand is made out of a pruned woody branch from my grandparents old Lavander bush, I just felt it was the perfect size and I just felt how right it was. I sanded the bark down to be smooth and the swirling patterns of light and dark just was incredible. I didn't decorate it yet, its still relatively new, but I plan on adding to it as I go
I would love to make a wand soon! my magick I find is far more effective when I have a tool to really direct it. I'm making a new book of shadows as well, my best friend/cat Salem loves chillin around me when I work on my witchery.. she'll probably climb on my head to watch me bind the pages and set protection spells on it 😊 I remember doing some spell and even my neighbors cat came over I was just like damn.. they get it! Love your stuff Harmony! 💚🌙☀️
When my grandpa died a couple years after my grandma, I went to her garden and to the tallest tree. I chose one of the lower branches growing upward, and whispered to grandma what I wanted and why. Had a strong vision of grandma and grandpa coming through the light and told me "as long as it's for good, take it". I have no idea what kind of wood it is, only that grandma planted and grew the tree.
Hopefully this helps, my great grandmother died before she could teach my mother and aunts witchcraft and how to make wands, we are now extinct, and now i hope to pick it back up
I'm not Wiccan but these videos are still so interesting to watch even if you're just learning for interest! Also may be admiring how amazing you look in every video too #jealousaf
All you need to do is write a letter or a sentence. Cross out all the vowels a,e,i,o,u and any repeated letters like I will, would be w l . Then you can get creative with the letters and make your own symbols. Don't forget to put a circle around it. You can later burn, bury or rip the sigils later for magical effect. Avoid words like I want and I need you must be more determined. Like I WILL I AM. that's what I have learned about sigils if that helps.
Sigil magick is included in this book.
I saw this THICK stiff vine with a twisted middle from my sisters yard after they did some yard work so I made it out of that and the twisted bit is kinda like a spring handle and a curve length and I made a wand out of it and I’m obsessed with it 😊🥰😍
I literally grew up with a tree who decided to be my wand. My mom planted a year before I was born, and it passed away a year after my mother passed away. A new sapling has sprouted, but the old trunk is still there. Been meditating over how to harvest it properly
There was a really cool stick on the ground when I went out camping for a summer camp. I ended up picking it up and scraped off the rough outer layer of wood with a rock or something and I ended up sleeping with it in my sleeping bag, sticking it in between my side and waist of my pants while we hiked up to the top of the trail, then smuggling it back to the camp and back home in my suitcase. It’s on my dresser now, I had it in my mind that I’d turn it into a bow (though it’s about the side of my forearm), but I just couldn’t let it go in the woods there, I couldn’t leave it. Now that I’m researching this, I’m realizing that I was really interested in this sort of thing before I knew it was a thing haha.
I know this video is old and all, but when I was little I was obsessed with Crystal's I used to find loads of shiny rocks and keep them and when I found out about the fact that you can buy real Crystal's, I went mad and begged my mom to buy me loads. Then I was really interested in faries. They were just so pretty, magical and interesting (around this time I LOVED mermaids too) and the last thing I was OBSESSED with was wicca/witches/ wizards/ witchcraft. I've always been quite a "magical" person in the sense that I have always been connected with a lot of "magical" things. I'm now 12 and getting back into wands and wicca and stuff like that.
That's lovely. Just to say, be careful when it comes to fairies and the fae folk. They can be quite tricky, having lots of rules that we don't understand, and some can be dangerous! We made a fairy garden and then was told about the cautions and some scary folklore and legends about the fae. They can be quite dark so be careful. Crystals and nature and magik for good is vert fulfilling and positive though! Keep following your path. The world needs more people connected to the magik and wonder of the world. ✨️
Harmony, did you recharge yesterday durimg the eclipse? Y'all had a partial I believe but, I'm in South Carolina, USA and we had Totality. It was incredible. The energy was nothing I have ever felt. Do you do sigels?
You can use natural glue, Mix charcoal, resin and excrement And that is like natural hot glue Another way to make it is replace excrement with birch tree oil... You can check that on survival Lilly's channel
If a wand is made out of wood. In my practice, it's considered to represent all of the 4 elements. Enjoyed the video by the way, thank you. Many blessings! Syker : )
I actually have my own tree. I got it as a little baby and we planted it in the garden... it‘s only around two feet high though. I don’t want to cut anything off it or hurt it. We also have another tree in the garden, around 40 feet high, which I have a strong connection to. I always talked to it and felt as if it was talking back to me and around it I felt this amazing positive and powerful energy. I think I may try that one and see if it’s okay with it.
fallen branches work too, maybe ask the tree for help with your wand then come back later to see if a convenient branch has conveniently fallen for you to use.
I always used bamboo for the wand part, so I could have a living wand. Tis also cool when your wand grows every now and then. I hope you do a video on Headology next as this should be the first or second lesson any witch learns. Making a person function better with placebo, setting a trigger in someone so they react a certain way or avoid certain actions, splitting someone's train of thought and reknitting it else where to make new synaptic connections and habits. I am not eloquent enough to describe it, but I am sure you could.
I found this old marble near my family house that may have belonged to my late grandpa. Every time I see it I’m reminded of him. I was thinking of putting it on a wand. It’s not a crystal just a little (I think) glass ball but it feels right.
At first, I was going to build my wand out of palm tree but I realized I have never really felt connected to them, then I realized how safe I feel with my neighborhood oak trees. I am going to strip some wood from one right in front of my house and make a wand tomorrow,
A friend of mine was having a disagreement with someone over whether or not it was ok to cut a branch off of a tree because a lot of people truly believe it's Wrong. This was my response and I hope it helps to clarify this delima: My father was a Tree Surgeon, he owned his own tree and lawn service and specialized in bringing sick trees back to good health. Trimming and Pruning a tree actually helps it grow stronger. Just think about it this way, if you're a gardener or even if you just have a few random house plants, every now and again you've gotta pluck a few leaves and it doesn't hurt at all. So if you set off for a nature walk to find yourself a branch for a wand, a staff or even a besom handle start by looking around to see what gifts nature has laid upon the ground for you but if there's a branch that's still attached to the tree and it's calling to you go check it out and if you can prune it off without damaging the rest of the tree then it's ok to take it but as Harmony said Ask for Permission First and Give Thanks and an Offering Afterwards. Thanks for sharing, Harmony, I appreciate
I grew up with a large bougainvillea (a flowering, woody shrub) always growing in my yard. I recently found out through meditation that his name is Elijah. Elijah got trimmed a few months ago and pieces of his cut branches were still strewn about in the empty lot next to my house. Took a stroll one afternoon and found a branch that was literally cut perfectly. Oh, and this also happened on Samhain. Working on it now!
Hi, i have a question, what do you do if there are no wicca/covens near you? I know you don't have to be in a coven. However, im a newcomer and im having a hard time getting things i need and how to start. There are a lot of videos online but I have no idea where to start
There isn’t necessarily a need to be part of a coven! Many people practise solitarily As well as this, covens are fairly secretive groups and so its unlikely you’d be able to research ones near you
I'm not Wiccan anymore (I'm actually more agnostic now, but that's irrelevant), but I was a solitary witch for 13 years. Covens are nice because they give you a chance to meet other witches and learn from other people, but you can learn so much on your own- especially with all the free resources you can find online. WitchVox is fantastic for articles and the like. Most libraries will have books on Witchcraft and New Age subjects- and if you can find any books by Scott Cunningham, he goes in depth into how to DIY a lot of the tools you're going to want to use if I'm remembering right. Silver Ravenwolf is also an *ok* place to start, but I never really lingered too hard on her material.
I'm a wand maker and your video has helped me create my 18 inch bloodwood wand and it is extremely extravagant with details and is completely unique to me and I have felt a very strong connection to it
Her face reminds me of a deer (that’s a compliment)
Like, graceful- like bambi? I see it too!
Its really pretty 🤭❤️
I think it’s the color of her hair and her makeup, it’s the color of Bambi lol (in a good way)
I dont really see how that can be an insult... if someone said I had the face of a deer, that would make me really happy
I think if a person reminds you of an animal, they were probably that animal in one of their past lives

I had a tree I talked to too. I always talked to him after school (elementary) bc He grew near it :)
But he didnt have a name, He was just "my tree"
Yeah I had a similar experience with a tree they didn't have a name though
WELP that's one way to get a wand 😂 👍
Maybe my brother should throw a stick at me too. The perfect way to get a wand is of course, to get a stick thrown at you by your brother HAHHAHAHA 😂
Hmm might get my brother to do this lol
I need power can you help me
I had no idea this was a thing.
I think it holds a lot of energy and u guys were able to direct it in a positive way.
wow! that super interesting

Since I was a little child, I felt something unique about nature. Sometimes I just left my friends and stayed back to just look at leaves and search pictures in them
And ever since then, I always felt, after a friend leaving me, or when I experienced loss in general, that nature is always there for me.
It's like "oh so that's what I was looking for"
Thank you for showing me this wonderful religion.
Also, of course, your makeup is fantastic again :D And you are so respectful, sweet and kind..
Really, I'm so glad I found you.
Thank you.

Positive Magic by Marion Weinstein!!
I learnt so much since :')
Harmony has a video about book recommendations.
I swear to you, the minute I read the words "earlier this year" in your post, Harmony said "earlier this year" and I felt shook 10:40 😧

I saw someone else’s comment about how to they used to talk to trees and SAME
In Georgia, we have pine trees (huge farms of them actually), peach trees (Peachtree City, peach state) and just your other types of trees, like a live oak.
Idk
I like trees
hi, people here in comments are sharing stories saying that trees talk back to them and i’m really curious to know how? how do trees talk?
If you are looking for a form of magick that you can actually use in real life to get sh-t done, look up “Unlocking the Secrets of Sorcery” on Amazon. I've made dozens of wands. Mostly out of Aspen limbs, but also Willow and Poplar. I use a lot of crystals and bronze and brass wire.

I went wand hunting in the woods. Instead of finding a piece of wood, I walked upon the carcass of a deer I took a bone from it after saying a blessing prayer and sprinkling tobacco from cigarettes on to the bones. The wand proves to be quite useful and personally I feel a stronger bond using that wand compared the wooden wands I've used before.
how do you practice wicca if you 1) live in a household that is against it and 2) have no clue what god/goddess you believe in 3) pantheons in general
Im being deliberately vague with my choices so I don't skew you on your search but maybe you can research other Pagan beliefs while you're in a situation where Wicca isn't welcomed.
im in the same boat as you
Sierra Shaffer go to a relevant library and read read read. That way you can create your own practice with that education. Keep a separate book to make notes in. Once you've got a basic history you could move into online research although online info can be tricky/ biased/ boloney.
My point is: I think if you become more educated and clear on what is important to you, you can find a way to incorporate it into your practice around your life where your family will not be involved/ opposed/ in a place to object/ violate your choices 😊
i would literally die for a face and hair as beauty as yours 😥

Careful. Rule of 3. It comes back 3fold
If you notice a friend or family going through a hard time finding a job, do a prosperity spell for them to help them
@skimp man 😂😂😂😂
My wands are nothing more than branches off of my ash tree in the front yard. LOL.
that's awesome!
Hey...that's amazing
I'm pretty new to magic so I checked what my birth tree is. Weeping Willow. I've never been around a weeping willow. I'm probably gonna use a story that I'm doing some excuse to get mom to but me some weeping willow to make my wand out of. None of my family (Excluding my grandma) really believe in magic.
i have a holly tree in my garden and i was planning on using its wood and it turns out holly is my birth tree so it works out perfectly 😂

Dang that's so disappointing I agree
Hope your family gets to practice Magick again in future
Usually religion kinda bores things out honestly (IDK why ) , but I believe everyone can practice Magick as long it's positive 👍
So I’m of the opinion that wands are from a combination of elements
Wood: earth, water
Bone: spirit, earth, water, air POSSIBLY fire?
Crystal: earth plus depending on the color, that adds more elements, for example, an amethyst wand would be earth and spirit, blue quartz would be earth and water, etc
Stone: earth and depending on where it’s found, that add elements(beach stone, water and earth, found on the street, earth and spirit, etc.)
Shell: earth water and spirit

I love how she is already absolutely ✨stunning✨ and then she adds gorgeous makeup on top for a witchy touch✨
Small forest dweller thank you for your advice ☺️
She must be explained to. People have a shady view of Wicca and it's practices. You must know first that we are all open to Wicca as it is not really a religion. It is probably the most scientifically accurate and as well as the most nonviolent practice EVER. If you want to start out, you should find your element. Your element can be the following four: Earth, Air, Fire, Water. Also (through time) try to find your strengths and weaknesses in Magick arts. I myself am a crystal healer/Child of wind. You might have the gift of sight, or the elements and even healing, it all depends on how you were made and what you were made to do. Love to all!

perfect timing, I was gathering my wood for my wand during the eclipse here in America yesterday thinking I wish my favorite wiccan would make a video on wands (; thank you loved it!
HOW CAN YOU BE SO BEAUTIFUL??
ps: i love that wiccan moon in the background
The stick Im Gonna use for my wand fell on me while I was looking for a stick in the yard. It really worked out.
I'm OBSESSED with sticks, anytime I go on a walk I always find an AMAZING stick, but I have yet to find "The One" for my wand
♡u♡
I don't yet feel a connection to any specific tree/wood but I do feel an immense connection to drift wood, what are your opinions on making a wand of driftwood
HeavyMetalHippie I think that would be amazing! If you connect to drift wood that's perfect and sounds unique
Annie Vee thank you for reassuring me xx
HeavyMetalHippie I have always had an odd connection to drift wood! Glad I am not the only one! Lol
My wand is VERY water-aligned. I have a pearl set in the handle and I collected the wood from a riverside and have a shell-shaped locket attached to it too. We all have to take our power where we find it!
HeavyMetalHippie I have a driftwood wand, it was much easier to carve into and cleanse!
I honestly didn't even know that Wiccans existed. I myself am a Christian but I definitely want to understand more about yous spirituality (is that what you'd call this?) (this isn't meant to be rude I just genuinely want to know more about wicca)
Ey I'm a christian too and kind of eerily drawn to learning more about wicca.
Abby Miller Same here
Abby Miller it's really a religions just as your Catholicism most are polytheistic which means we have multiple gods or goddesses everything revolves around nature
Can you do a video soon talking about how you take and edit your Instagram pictures?
Mrs. Cullen Rutherford you can find her dusty filter and flares on an app called afterlight!♡ She also sharpens her images alot as well. Her particular editing is very unique because she may use multiple programs for her photos!
Theytoldme Iwasart thank you! I'll take a look at the app you mentioned.
Not to be a hatter but why would she do that?🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
I made my first wand before I even started to learn about wicca or witchcraft.
"I always like my wands to be a little bit bigger" that face though :'D
The wand chooses the wizard.. I mean witch... though its not always clear why.
Ethan Barnhart it's not harry potter
Thank you for telling me, I was unaware. You are a hero, you must sleep so well at night knowing that you do so many good things for so many people. Have a blessed day.
Ethan Barnhart I could feel the sarcasm in that
@@Ethan-jt8yn 😂😂
@@Cynistrelle wands do actually
My whole wand situation is so random and fun. I could be walking down a street and see a pile of sticks, but one stick in particular will just call to me. And my brain is just like ''Take it. Take the Stick.''
It has lead me to ending up with massive amounts of sticks or other natural objects in my room that I find 'satisfying' or I have a connection to.
Personally my personal wand is made out of a pruned woody branch from my grandparents old Lavander bush, I just felt it was the perfect size and I just felt how right it was. I sanded the bark down to be smooth and the swirling patterns of light and dark just was incredible. I didn't decorate it yet, its still relatively new, but I plan on adding to it as I go
This is the best timing, i was literally doing a tonne of research on this last night. yeyeyeyyeyey
Was meant to be my friend. Keep that in mind.
My dear friend made me a wand for my birthday ☺️. It’s so beautiful and I can feel the love and care that went into it ❤️
I would love to make a wand soon! my magick I find is far more effective when I have a tool to really direct it.
Hopefully this helps, my great grandmother died before she could teach my mother and aunts witchcraft and how to make wands, we are now extinct, and now i hope to pick it back up
Good luck
I'm not Wiccan but these videos are still so interesting to watch even if you're just learning for interest!
Also may be admiring how amazing you look in every video too #jealousaf
"I like my wand a bit bigger" 😂😂😂
Could you ever make a video about sigils/how to use them/how to make your own?
Random Dog Picture I know how to use sigils and how to make them, if you need help! :)
sigils are so fun...
@@njblackbird3148 thank you!!
Sigil magick is included in this book.
I always felt connected to a tree at my old house and it’s just down the street so I could get it lol
I saw this THICK stiff vine with a twisted middle from my sisters yard after they did some yard work so I made it out of that and the twisted bit is kinda like a spring handle and a curve length and I made a wand out of it and I’m obsessed with it 😊🥰😍
YES IM EXITED FOR THIS BISH
...😐😑😶
Excited*
What a gorgeous wand!!! Thank you for sharing this video. It is packed full of great information!!!
my sister is a witch, and i remember her making wands. it was confusing
the way that your nose piercings look like a little snaily was intentional? It's so cutee
Harmony, did you recharge yesterday durimg the eclipse? Y'all had a partial I believe but, I'm in South Carolina, USA and we had Totality. It was incredible. The energy was nothing I have ever felt. Do you do sigels?
I do sigils, my BOS is full of them, yaaay
I'm from SC too. Eclipse was awesome.
You can use natural glue,
Mix charcoal, resin and excrement
And that is like natural hot glue
Another way to make it is replace excrement with birch tree oil... You can check that on survival Lilly's channel
Misa Kofs can you just tie the crystal to the wand?
I'm going to make my wand from a tree I planted 20yrs ago! I'm getting chills now because everything just makes sense now
If a wand is made out of wood.
RedPixelheart my brother has one of them I don’t though
fallen branches work too, maybe ask the tree for help with your wand then come back later to see if a convenient branch has conveniently fallen for you to use.
Birth tree...
**sticks hand into Holly bush*
I love the "big wand" remark. ;6:33😂😂
I always look forward to your new videos! Always the greatest!!!👍👍

Blessed be. 🙂
Antonius Smokeebasil I’m sorry if this sounds rude but I’m new to Wicca but wha is with saying ‘blessed be’ and the three moon symbol
@@biancad350 blessed be is almost a way of saying amen but just alittle diffrent
At first, I was going to build my wand out of palm tree but I realized I have never really felt connected to them, then I realized how safe I feel with my neighborhood oak trees. I am going to strip some wood from one right in front of my house and make a wand tomorrow,

Gasp!
A friend of mine was having a disagreement with someone over whether or not it was ok to cut a branch off of a tree because a lot of people truly believe it's Wrong. This was my response and I hope it helps to clarify this delima:
My father was a Tree Surgeon, he owned his own tree and lawn service and specialized in bringing sick trees back to good health.
As someone who is still learning about Wicca and their spiritual journey, your channel has been so helpful!
I'm not a Wiccan, but I love your series about it
You're such a cutie, love getting notifications that you've posted ~

Ohhh, and that crescent moon behind you is the shit!!!!!
Why do you Like witchcraft?
Demarcus Cousin because people can
You are literally one of the most beautiful people I've ever seen in my life. I love the videos and keep up the great work 😍❤️😍
I grew up with a large bougainvillea (a flowering, woody shrub) always growing in my yard.
The wand looks so much like it's meant to be your wand. It just looks like it fits so perfectly.
Hi, i have a question, what do you do if there are no wicca/covens near you? I know you don't have to be in a coven. However, im a newcomer and im having a hard time getting things i need and how to start. There are a lot of videos online but I have no idea where to start
witchvox.com ,maybe?
There isn’t necessarily a need to be part of a coven! Many people practise solitarily
As well as this, covens are fairly secretive groups and so its unlikely you’d be able to research ones near you
aris ellis you can try to look it up on the internet have a nice day
I'm not Wiccan anymore (I'm actually more agnostic now, but that's irrelevant), but I was a solitary witch for 13 years.
@@lordstolas8146 thank you!!
