Dear do I have to download other drivers because before the 500brio I had a logitech 270. My camera works, but I'm asking because of the driver. Thanks
i got a new logitech camera and my picture adjustments in g-hub r not automatically applied on other apps. i have to open g-hub and re-chose my settings to get effects working. why is this?
@@ArtIsRight for some strange reason, windows camera app is messing with g-hub picture settings. i can get my settings automatically in teams videocall if i dont open windows camera app after ive applied my g-hub settings.
@@ArtIsRight : thanks. at the same time i asked logitech too but their replied me that it couldn’t work with ipad. i’m not challenging u but i don’t know which one is correct.
Nah, these are all cheapos, it's a compromise. They're all shit, enough for business calls. You need a mirrorless form that. Modern mirrorless from Sony, Canon, etc. come with a software so that their products can be used as webcam.
@@ArtIsRight thanks for replying. yea was thinking that, but u know technology, that function many only work in their app. Guess I will find out soon enough :D
@@ArtIsRight I just asked their support, and they said Logitech does not support QuickTime! shot in the foot...Im pretty sure It should work in quicktime... Lets see!

My pleasure!
Thank you so much for this information it really helped me out!!
You are so welcome!
Hello. When starting the camera, does the load go to the CPU or video card?
Image processing is done on the camera, if the app is installed on the CPU.
Thank you. For some reason, my camera showing a slightly blurry image, can't figure out why... Also Logicapture won't see this camera.
contact your local Logitech support for help
seems built in webcam is better than the logitech one, as well as having better mic.
That is why I did the comparison. If you look at the noise during live call in the similar lighting condition, it is less than the build in webcam.
This is better an the 4k one, In picture and colors
good to know
Does this camera take pictures?
You can via software
Logitech BRIO 500
I don't have USB-C on my PC, how to connect it?
USB-C to A adapter
Nice review! Question: if using with a 13 inch macbook pro, in show mode, can it see beyond the keyboard? Thank you in advance for your response!
You may have to angle it less but with the wide angle lens, yes

Yes, new logi driver.
i got a new logitech camera and my picture adjustments in g-hub r not automatically applied on other apps. i have to open g-hub and re-chose my settings to get effects working. why is this?
Not sure I would reach out to logi support on this

can I use this " logitech BRIO 500 " for classes on 8x4 feet whiteboard on ZOOM ????????????
I don't see why not but I would give it a try
Any idea why in Viber it cuts the screen ratio, even though the cam's field view is set to 90 dgrees in settings?
not sure, I would check that you have the latest driver. Falling short of that, it may be a Viber thing.
is it compatible to ipad pro?
Yes and works just fine!
@@ArtIsRight : thanks. at the same time i asked logitech too but their replied me that it couldn’t work with ipad. i’m not challenging u but i don’t know which one is correct.
Why are there no videos showing me how to plug it into my laptop cant find right whole
ok
USB-c hole in your laptop. Or get a usb-c to usb-a adapter to plug in to older usb port.
Does it come with a light?
you'll have to get other light sources separately.
@@ArtIsRight thanks, how does the camera do under poor light conditions?
It does a decent job. everything gets a bit noisy, considering the smaller sensor
Is there a webcam that will zoom with hardware, not software?
Probably you have to search around.

Do you know if showmode works in QuickTime?
it should be because it is largely based on the Logi software and web cam firmware.

@@ArtIsRight I just asked their support, and they said Logitech does not support QuickTime! shot in the foot...Im pretty sure It should work in quicktime... Lets see!
well it does work in quick time, I did these screen recoding in quick time and the function works. So you should be good to go, now that I think of it
@@ArtIsRight many thanks for that, will order, the function is exactly what I need :D
They designed the entire camera on the gimmick of panning it down, and more often than not it'll fail this simple task
Over simplification and exaggeration at best, many might not use this but I would hardly say that everything was designed around that feature
You say "pretty much" a lot.
You're welcome!
