Love the way you presented this, side-by-side without telling us which was which. I watched this after I bought the Anker C200 actually (trying to see if I did the right thing) so I'm glad you did all the tests; now I don't have to!
I was struggling between these two cameras, and my frugal side won lol. I just ordered the Anker. And THEN I go and find this video ... and I'm really glad I chose what I did. Thank you for the in-depth side by side comparison!
@Lowandslow Yeah, I've added an update to my comment, check out the video I shot with it. The link I posted, I did some color correction. The video before it, I didn't. It doesn't look good to me so I don't recommend it unfortunately. 😔 Probably save up a little more and buy the C300 instead.
@Lowandslow i didn't adjust the aspect ratio, it's the default setting & that's the camera quality. I git it a few days ago so I'm stil trying to figure out if it's something I'm not doing right.
@@FastMoneyCulture update, I did and it works much better. I think it just needed to be used a few times to get rid of the reddish tint. It works fine now and I've adjusted the colours a bit.
Your comparison is spot-on and I was surprised to find out the RHS is the Anker! It was having clearer image in the dark so I thought that was a larger sensor for the 4K, I was wrong lol
Anker is the clear winner. Better focus, faster lense, better mic. Color is "not" a problem at all. We can easily adjust color with the software. And the price? That's crazy it is $100 cheaper. At this point I find it to be stupid to buy Logitech Brio 4K. Aker always surprises me with its product quality. I have such a positive brand image for this company. Hope they get more recognition.
The Anker camera is remarkable for the price. The Brio is known to overheat when shooting 4K as well, so for anyone looking to buy it, you will want to stick with 1080p.
Anker shows the way with the detachable USB-C cable... Not only you can change the cable if it's damaged but you can order an aftermarket USB-C cable, have proper cable management and not a spaghetti of cables under your desk. Well done Anker !
Good review. I knew which was which from the moment of the color problem. Logitech does color good, but Anker being good in a more normal lighting situation was a relief. It's faster auto-focus and price point will probably be my choice and this really helped me decide. Hopefully there is some color correction software with it, but I guess I can do something in obs as well.
Very good demonstration of the two cameras. Was thinking about buying the C200 and this convinced me. Plus it's not a guessing game because I've seen pretty accurately what I can expect from the camera : ) Update: I bought it and the software is crap and often doesn't retain settings between uses of the camera and/or computer. Also is has a weird effect where Pixels seem to "stick", so you have to move a couple pixels in order for the image to change. Pretty weird, especially noticeable with hair. Tested that on my laptop and Pc. I've since returned the camera and am back on the cheap low-end webcam I used before.
Awesome review! Thank you so much for all the detailed explanations and comparisons. I think for my needs I'm going to go with the Anker. It's right on my budget and ticks all the important points that I'm looking for. An upgrade in the future is always an option when life allows for it!
Logitech has been a brand that makes "cool products", and they sound desirable, but often perform under-par. I have the Brio 4K, and it is finicky, colors do not look that great, and it is grainy when the light get dim (yes I have a ring light, but for the price of the Brio, over $200 at the time, it should be stunning!) It is beaten soundly by my Samsung Phone, my old Canon Powershot camera, and my Gopro Hero 9 and 5 for colors, clarity, and focus.
I'm surprised the Anker looks so good. I believe the pink issue at the start was due to the blue LEDs in the background. The color is still probably off a little bit without the LEDs but it's definitely adjustable in OBS. I'm personally not planning to use the mic on it but the mic is definitely better too.
Thanks for the comparison! I had the camera on the right pegged as the Brio based on the majority of your testing. I was really surprised to see it was the Anker.
The Anker does have better gain and voice isolation. But that's it for the positives on audio, for me. I hear a very unnatural quality to the sound on the Anker, almost like one is too close to the mic. And there's very noticeable (to me) high-pitched noise or compression artifact. Anker's team has been working on this with me and are very responsive. But so far there's been no improvement.
If you need proper audio quality for production, you should use a dedicated mic anyways. For conference calls, the audio quality heard in this video is more than fine.
Actually surprised. I thought early on the logitech camera had trouble focusing up close. The image was fuzzy. Though the colors were a bit blown out with the anker model it's nothing i can't fix. Thanks for the video!
I was just looking for a good webcam for my 3d printer that doesn't have vaseline all over the camera, but the anker one looks like a good choice for my desk too.
Anker webcam has surprised me...imo it looks better than the Logitech...I've been using Anker portable battery n wall chargers since 2016...never had to replace any of their products
This was such a helpful and fun way to break down the comparison between both cameras. I was like 90% I could guess which one was which but to my surprise I found out the cheaper Anker is the one I prefer. Awesome video, thanks!
Thanks, this is exactly the review I have been looking for online. Awesome comparison. Its seems like Anker really does come up with quality products always. Now off I go to place my order for the Anker C200 webcam. Many thanks
The Anker wins for me simply due to detachable USB-C cable. I currently have a Logi Streamcam and love the 60fps smoothness but hate that it's USB-C cable is built into the back and non-removable. Thanks for the comparison and I've now made up my mind.
This video was exactly what I needed to see because I have both of these cameras on my Amazon watch list. I'd love to see another comparison but between the Brio and Anker's 4k version of this same camera.
This was incredibly helpful. I love the format you used for the video. It helped me remove my bias and evaluate the webcams honestly. Thank you for this video.
Muchas gracias por la revisión! La mejor que he visto! Completa, abarcando todas las posibilidades y resoluciones de las cámaras. Excelente trabajo y muchas gracias por compartirlo! 😊 (Gracias por los subtítulos también!!!!)
Whats the field of view on the Anker? I rarely see people talk about that, I work from home so its nice to be able to have something with a smaller range so they dont see my entire room.
colour wise on the skintone anker looks more natural for me but that is just my opinion, but yeah the colours on other object is not as good. However the anker does looks more detailed for some reason, the brio looks like it in 720p or something and just a blurry mess.
I don’t know if you realized, but you accidentally made a stereoscopic recording. It’s pretty compelling to watch you in 3D (cross-eyed). It’s also got me curious if the sometimes-delay is caused by the cameras or just the video not quite lined up in the timeline. Thanks!.
Oh man! You win at comments! I literally just made a video for a 3D camera and didn't even think to realize I was making 3D videos every time I do a webcam comparison. I just watched it again... that was super trippy. I think the lag is just normal with all webcams. Thanks for your comment!
In the beginning the camera on the right look way better image quality, then exactly half of the video camera on the left looked better, as if they switched.
Hi, can the content creator be kind enough to tell me how long is the cable that is included? I plan to buy but not sure if I shd get a separate cable that is longer.
Mr GoTech in your opinion if I have the Logitech C922 is it worth the "upgrade" if I switch to the Anker C200? Noise cancelation is of the most importance to me because of all of my fur babies. Lol. For reference I'm a Teletherapist. Thanks in advance!
Can you tell me how long is the USB-C to USB-A cable that comes with Anker C200? I heard it was short so just want to make sure it will connect with the setup that I have without requiring me to buy another cable.
the anker won hands down for me both on video and audio. the anker clarity was much better… the clip where you came close to the camera, your hair was so much clearer
Awesome comparison between cameras. It is such a shame about the flickering with the higher priced model. It seems to me that these camera companies have to choose what to compromise on to suit a certain type of customer.
I like this method of presentation. Up until the end, I thought I knew what the Logitech camera was, and the reveal really surprised me. Is Logi now just coasting on its reputation?
I really like your style of testing out and comparing the cams, I wish more people did it in your style. Thank you for the video. If you have an Anker B600 Video Bar, I'd like to see that vs., the Brio. Thanks again

Love Logitech but I might have to go with the Anker. I can always adjust white balance and I don't mind getting that shine to come through. The audio is great, though I won't be using anything but my interface with XLR and 1/4" inputs. I was going to use my EOS 80D but I don't have any desire to pay $50 a year for Canon's garbage software!
That audio from the Logitech Brio is extremely disappointing and a deal breaker for me. I would buy the Anker based on that alone. Also, the price of the Brio is currently 134.49 USD, while the Anker C200 is 59.99. For what I find important, the audio, the Anker C200 is a for sure purchase for me and the better camera. The Brio is a bit better in some of the video aspects, but is it 2.5 times the price better? All my home lighting is LED smart bulbs as well so the video is even better, in my opinion, with the Anker. I'd be really curious how the Anker PowerConf C300 at 99.99 USD (129.99 minus an instant Amazon coupon of 30.00) stacks up against the Brio. Anker never seems to disappoint me. I've used their chargers, power banks, USB cables, and power strips for years now and have NEVER had an issue with any of them. That includes a 5 USB port charger I bought over 8 years ago that Anker sent me a replacement for about 6 months after purchasing it without me even knowing it until it arrived in my mailbox because they apparently had problems with them dying. They were able to track my purchase through Amazon. Even that 5 USB port charger that was supposed to die works to this day and I've never had any issues with it.
I like how you didn't reveal the webcams from the beginning. Keep my mind absolutely free from prejudices.
Thanks!

Super impressed with the Anker noise cancelling. Great video! Loved the pacing, and how the tests are logically picked and arranged. Well done 👍
The Best webcam "vs" video out there. It so happened these were the cameras I were choosing between :) You are truly a great presenter, Thanks! :)
