I came here to learn something. I learned that my current league strategy is really solid. I'm 110/115 right now and close to ubers doing essences and delirium only. I really think its a good farming strat. Great vid
Thanks! It's a really good farming strategy that you can run in white tier maps until you make enough currency, and it also works in tier 16 maps on a fast build.
Yes. Essences are hard, but in white tier maps they're manageable. Even if you have a not so strong character, you're probably gonna be able to run Essences in white tier maps. This build needs a Tabula and a Trigger Wand and it's ready to farm them in tier 1-3 maps with no issues. Get some gem levels, add a few Ghastly Eye Jewels, spec a bit more into Minion Damage and you can farm them comfortably even in yellow tier maps with this build. For red tier maps, only up to 3 mod Essences. They are way too hard in tier 16 maps and you need a better build if you want to spec intro Crystal Lattice.
Solid guide! People won't understand how strong this strat is because there is actually nuances that boost your profits. Also this is a decent replacement for endless heist because you can do this on white maps and it helps new players or weaker builds make currency thats pretty straight forward. People who look at this and think they won't make money, have never made crazy amounts of money on this strat. Even in the guide there are things missing to simplify the process. But those who know the details can make 3-8 divs easy. 2min a map - figure out how how to get 200% movespeed and you will literally 3x or 4x the profits listed here. Atlas passives, you only need roughly 70 to 80 for this strat to work thats not even that crazy requirement. Corruption essence, yea... that's all you need to know. (Hint 1:55) I mean I'm not even gonna mention TFT, or crafting. But holy if people only knew how to use this strat. Again solid guide, idk why people think this strat is bad etc.
Ty Sid. This is a general theme on my channel. Maybe it's because the channel has a few subs, not sure. Whenever I run a farming strategy and show the results 2 things happen: 1) 90% like rate on the video 2) a lot of complaints in the comments :D I got used to it. That's why almost all of my farming strategies come with a public spreadsheet. To tune a out a bit of complaints. Now, this has reduced them, but not removed them entirely. To me this is really funny to see. No matter what strat I run, I always make really close to what the spreadsheet says. Some things are not always liquid, but usually I run the strat a bit more, or incorporate that illiquid part of the start in different strat, get a bit of bulk and sell afterwards.

@MerilandSolid op already laid out the best maps for this league. Some other tips are if you have 3 copies of a map you don't want, you can vendor it for a different map. Also helps in atlas progression to get new maps for completion for atlas points to get to the essence nodes. Another tip is day 1 and day 2, don't upgrade beyond shrieking essence. Example 21/9, first number is the price of bulk and second number is how many. Essences are traded in 9s because 1 stack is capped at 9.
What other farming strategies are good for early league? I am not sure what is best... stay low maps and not spend time on completing maps and just farm hard on essences or complete atlas and go some more profitable atlas strategies?

On day 1 or 2 of league start while running maps and not killing most mobs how are you maintaining your map pool of a specific map or maps in general? Especially when you aren’t taking any map sustain nodes. I suppose you could try and trade for the maps but in the first few days trying to buy white maps is going to be time consuming.

@@down-the-rabbit-hole you'll get the same like last league if you're fast and smart about it. Hi Dan, i wanted to ask, what do you think is good early farm for season HC? Even with how different the market is here I never tried it in poe but i want to try this league
Hey. I'm not sure to be honest what's good for HC. Never played HC before. I guess Essences? Maybe raw currencies in Mao Kun? Not sure if Mao Kuns are low tier this league. If they are you could run them efficiently like this: th-cam.com/video/7lbPYShTDmc/w-d-xo.html Ran 10 last league to kickstart my currency stack.
Nice strat! Are you going to be doing similar project as you did in 3.20 like the Mageblood project? Or rather trying out different atlas strats? Pretty interested in seeing videos about the new Abyss/Breach strats from you! Especially now that we have the gateways that allows new unique atlas strats :)
Hey. I'm go ultra casual this league and gonna limit myself to 2 hours gameplay per day. Last league I played 4 hours per day in the first 4 days and then I started playing 3 hours per day consistently until I got a Mageblood. So just in the first week I had 25 hours of game play. This league by the end of week one I'm only gonna have 14 hours of gameplay xD . It takes me 8 hours to finish the Campaign and 3 Labs. Really wanna see just how far I can take it ultra casual. Probably gonna name the series: "Zero to 2 hour Hero" All of the Mageblood strats still work and you can run the ones that were ran in Toxic Sewer in Waste Pools instead. The final 3 div per hour strat with Gilded Expedition can be ran in Beach Map since it's back in the Atlas Rotation and it's probably gonna net you around 5 Div per hour. I'm gonna be really slow this league compared to most players, but I went a bit hard last league. Not sure if I'll go for a Mageblood.
@@kidzesty6303 52 Points exactly. I usually complete around 10 maps per hour at League Start. So around 5 hours to get 52 points. Took a look in game. Tier 8 maps.
Doesn't replace endless heist. It was good because you got the currency upfront in trivial content - It was especially good for weak builds with high speed. Essences are stronger than most map bosses. Also essences gain value over time, people need to start crafting - Chaos orbs/uniques on day 1 have incredibly high value as is and get worse as time progresses. It was there to kickstart your build in a safe enviroment.
Essences are hard, don't get me wrong, but I was farming them on a Tabula with this build and a trigger wand. Some builds will do better versus different mechanics, this build just zergs them with a lot of minions and they get stuck in place.
Hey. Made 62 maps back (check spreadsheet). Map sustain in white tier maps is not punishing. Most of the maps were dropped from map bosses. Didn't show them since the loot fit well into a single tab. @later edit. You want to run this strategy after you get 50+ Points on your Atlas. So you're gonna have enough extra maps by that point. If you get unlucky with maps (hasn't happened to me so far, but who knows) you can buy Kirac's shop. Since we are going for the map boss, you're also gonna get Kirac Missions and his shop refreshes after a mission. White maps in Kirac's shop cost chance orbs.
@@casualdanpoe what i am trying to say is that you will not be able to sustain the same map (Atoll) as the drop will be random and early in the league you will not have many favourite maps, hence impacting the end results

Don't think so. Everything is liquid. Essences, currencies, deli orbs, good clusters, good cards, good uniques. Some may have to be sold a few days later if you only run this strategy for 1.5 hours like I did here. If you run this strat for 6 hours, you're gonna have 4x of everything. Literally impossible to not liquidate these in bulk at almost any point in the league except after maybe end of month 2, beginning of month 3 of the league.
Yeah, you're not getting 400c/hr on the first day of league, not even the second day. I do this quite a bit on every league, inc. memories as well last league. And while there might be a higher demand for essences this next league on midgame, the problem with this is that essences practically worthless on the first day due to lack in demand, and the more people who's doing this, the worse it'll be for you. Heist on the other hand is basically raw currency farm, it's a whole different category than this.
Hey. The similarity is the playstyle: Run => Stop for Essence vs Run => Stop for Chest. It's a farming strategy where you are running a lot kinda like you were in endless heist. This is more of a week 1 farming strategy, rather than day 1. Most players reach maps by the end of day 2-3. Same case for me. Takes me 8 hours to finish campaign and 3 Labs and I play 2-4 hours per day. To those, this will be like Endless Heist. To the hardcore gamers that by te end of day 1 had a stack of 100-200 chaos, it's not gonna feel like the same strategy.
once i saw essence back on the map device, i knew i would go for that kind of strat. putting deli mirror with stream of consciousness in is a really nice plus. will try that. keep in mind, essence prices will be lower due to it being on map device compared to 3.20.
Yup. It works well. I've done a similar video to this for 4 leagues now. Essences in white tier maps are really good always because even if you manage to sell half of them first week of the league, that initial 100-200 chaos is enough to gear up your league starter and take you into red tier maps as long as you're playing a decent build. The rest can be sold later when the economy matures a bit.
Considering how many people are planning on playing ele bow, flat ele essences at the very least are going to be up. Pair your essence strat with harvest and you can reroll all your bad ones into good ones However, their value may suffer since they'll be on the map device. We'll have to wait and see
I mean, worst case, you try it out for 2 hours, try to sell the essences and see what happens, right? Worst case scenario you sell half of them, buy some nice upgrades and move on to another farming strategy. The atlas is pathing through the middle of the tree so you have access to a lot of farming starts. You only need to respec 17 points to refund all Essence Passives. You're gonna make around 200c just from the Deli Mirrors if you run this strategy for 2 hours.
not sure why ur so hard on skipping everyhting ? normal mapping + essences + unid chaos reciepe is way more than what ur showing. it really dosnt take much time to loot some rares and dump them into tabs and than do unid chaos reciepe. like u really think looting essences than selling it into chaos is faster than getting straight up chaos ? i really dont understand why ppl hate chaos reciepe so much :3
Hey. You can also run them your way if you plan on using the chaos recipe tool. I like running them like this because even if the layout of the map is a bit hard to understand, you can take a look at the minimap and see the Essence.
Not really a definitive replacement for endless heist. Especially since most people farm essences anyway and don't buy early on in the league. For myself anyway, the point of endless heist at league start is to farm chaos vendor recipe, easy currency and and reveals. Also since you're ignoring trash, you're also missing out on getting chaos recipe pieces. Not really a smart idea at league start.

Lol, its white map essence monsters. If your build can't handle them then idk chief
what about map sustain?
@@dagutten Ah yes. But you can horizon them. Horizon are not that expensive at the start of the league. There are multiple good layouts for each map tier.
Good layouts for 3.21:
Tier 1 good layouts: Alleyways, Collonade, Scriptorum (75% chance)
Tier 2 good layouts: Dunes, Stagnation, Excavation, Belfry, Grotto (50% chance)
Tier 3 good layouts: Overgrown Shrine, Strand, Infested Valley, Primordial Pool, Fields (62.5% chance)
Tier 4 good layouts: Cemetery, Lighthouse, Port, Tower (50% chance)
Tier 5 good layouts: Atoll, City Square, Marshes, Arcade, Residence (62.5 chance)
It's looking ok so far. Can also upgrade 3 to 1, buy from Kirac and so on. Should work.
You are literally OD'ing in copium if you think you are going to sell all that.. probably you will end up selling 1/9th of the loot
I hope essences price be good at the start this league iam planning to do it too
Considering how many people are planning on playing ele bow, flat ele essences at the very least are going to be up. Pair your essence strat with harvest and you can reroll all your bad ones into good ones
However, their value may suffer since they'll be on the map device.
Yeeeeeeees
Ce iti mai place sa te joci cu o armata de minioni ^^
Wait.. heist gone????
Hey. Endless Heist. People were deleveling themselves to keep buying contracts from Whakano. Book of Regression has been removed from the game.
not sure why ur so hard on skipping everyhting ? normal mapping + essences + unid chaos reciepe is way more than what ur showing.
it really dosnt take much time to loot some rares and dump them into tabs and than do unid chaos reciepe.
like u really think looting essences than selling it into chaos is faster than getting straight up chaos ?
i really dont understand why ppl hate chaos reciepe so much :3
Hey. You can also run them your way if you plan on using the chaos recipe tool.
I like running them like this because even if the layout of the map is a bit hard to understand, you can take a look at the minimap and see the Essence.
da da daaaaaaaaaaa
Not really a definitive replacement for endless heist. Especially since most people farm essences anyway and don't buy early on in the league.
For myself anyway, the point of endless heist at league start is to farm chaos vendor recipe, easy currency and and reveals.
Also since you're ignoring trash, you're also missing out on getting chaos recipe pieces. Not really a smart idea at league start.
ENDLESS HEIST GONE?
Yup. Book of regression has been removed.
This is bottom scraper strat. doing this will only feed other people.
Nobody care about esssences everybody doing this and there will be also kirac essences for 3 chaos, so its useless for next league and bait like always everything on youtrashtube
"nobody cares about essences".. "everybody is doing this".. which is it?
