  • Yakiniku (焼肉, literally "grilled meat") is a Japanese style of grilling meat. It's a popular dish in Japan & is often enjoyed as a social activity. Yakiniku is typically cooked on a small grill at the table, where diners grill their own meat. Yakiniku is often served with a variety of side dishes, such as rice, vegetables, and dipping sauces.
    ES6 Tip for enjoying Yakiniku:
Order a variety of meats & veggies. Yakiniku is a great way to try a variety of different meats and vegetables. Try the main 4: beef, pork, chicken, and lamb. There's also many different types of vegetables that can be put on the BBQ, such as onions, mushrooms, and peppers. Try them all. And don't forget to get a side order of rice to go with it all. Enjoy!

So for the pigs feet its mostly collagen which is a Korean favorite. It shouldn't have much fat since it's been boiled and rendered. That looks very good!

The table grill makes it...a couple of people, a couple of cold beers and meat and veggies grilled to individual tastes and eaten right away. Our area could use an Asian restaurant that offered this. The closest we come is a large charcoal grilling area where you cook steaks while chatting and drinking a cold one.....Enjoyed today's meal with you, Eric and looking forward to the next..sans insects, of course.

That looked so good. I use to train RN's from South Korea. They would always bring me different salads to try. Then I was invited to a South Koreans wedding. Afterward, Young the bride was so happy she took me down 3 rows at least 5, 24 feet long, just full of all South Korean food. It was so good. Then my sister in law mother is from South Korea, and her Kim chi is so good, so she usually makes us a big jar of it. Keep up the great job. Love your videos 😊

The beef and lamb looked fresh enough to just eat as-is, no cooking required :D I remember table bbq-cooking back in the 90s, but the novelty died out pretty quickly... nice to see it living on in Japan! A ham hough (cured pigs feet) is delicious and you can get so many meals from just one; boil it up and save the stock for an awesome lentil soup, make a fabulous french style cassoulet with the meat, some chicken and cannellini beans..... and then give the dog the bone! You will never starve with one of those in your freezer lol! Great vid as always Eric x
