Yes food on stick might be a small amount in Ine but it’s usealy extreamly tasty and you can enjoy the food slower and take your time to taste much more flavors

Oh one of my favorites edame love popping them my mouth, so fun to eat. I love how Japanese food is so detailed in one way but then so simple too. I wish I didn't have to leave but I needed to move my car before the snow plow entrapped my car. The buggers still managed to wedge me in from the front and back, so I'll be stuck for days.

I bought some lotus root (I had no idea what it looked like) and am making a Chinese dish that caught my eye on a Chinese cooking channel I follow.
Hoping to be in Japan next year where I can enjoy some of the best food that's on offer.

I had a friend years back that was in the movie industry. She was an actress from a famous family. I took her to my favorite Japanese Restaurant in Hollywood Hills area and she ordered e everything on the menu.....boy was that interesting and fun. I felt a bit embarrassed at first but the owners made it a class act. That food looked amazing!! Thanks for sharing!😎👍❤ oh...ps: she paid...lol

I ate lots of beef tongue on the farm. My mom would boil it and we would have it for supper then have cold tongue sandwiches the next day . They were great went well with a lot of French’s mustard. Gotta love sparklers in general. Crepe looks really good. Food on a stick seems like a hell of an idea. Black and ice cold is the best way to have your coffee. Oh I love mushrooms .

I *love* beef tongue but if cooked well, it should be super tender and not at all chewy. It’s a meat that needs to be cooked a very long time.

My step father was from the south which gave me access to delicasies such as beef tongue, squirrel brain gravy, pickled pigs feet and of course mush!!! All are an acquirred taste!!

I tried enoki mushrooms. By the looks of it (pale, small and unassuming) I expected it to taste mild but boy, do they have a strong mushroom taste! 😅
They come in 2 colors in the market I go to. The brown ones are even stronger than the white ones.

So I have been watching you for years, well I had one of your episodes on the big TV I was watching about 3 weeks ago.. my son with ASD is now obsessed with watching your show lol he even made me go buy him chopsticks!! ( he will be 7 on the 22nd) any way, thank you for your time :-)
Eric, im sorry that you didn't like the mushrooms, to me they're delicious. And yes, they definitely have an earthy flavor. It took me many years to enjoy them myself, i thought that my parents were crazy when they would eat them. They used to take a regular size container 1 pint? of button mushrooms and marinade them in Italian style salad dressing over night and then just eat them like an appetizer/snack. I didn't like them then, but now i do, I even had a pepperoni and mushroom pizza yesterday as a matter of fact lol. Thanks for another great video, my friend!
