Never had octopus. But these dishes looked amazing. Love how the Japanese take pride in the presentation of their dishes.
Presentation is everything when it comes to food in Japan. It's simply beautiful.
I still remember having Takoyaki for the first time, it's a unique combination of flavours and textures. One of my favourites. Watching videos like this is cool to me because I hope to live there someday.

I had homemade octopus soup this past weekend. It was fantastic. The octopus was so tender, it melted in my mouth. Yummy.

Takoyaki is one of the foods I'd like to try in Japan and Yuzu sounds like a really nice citrus fruit. I'm surprised the combo of both wasn't epic, ha.

I always take a second bite of what I don't like, and it's not usually as bad as the first bite. I'm all about trying to acquire a taste for new things.

I am headed to Vegas and San Diego this Friday for ten days. That is the closest I will get to Japanese food but it is more authentic than what I get around my place in NC. Can’t wait. Loved this one!

@@ericsurf6 all the Japanese places around me. Winston Salem NC , are more Americanized. Vegas and the west coast has more authentic cuisine.

Weather looks nice raining where I am winter building up now but even the weather doesn't dampen the fact the beer looked refreshing
I would just love to try anything octopus related. I fell in love with octopus from a very young age and so difficult to get them fresh.

I'm so jealous. I developed my allergy to shellfish in my late 20's. I can't even have octopus. That broke my heart. So now I live vicariously through you if that's OK 👍
