Thanks for tuning in today guys! Hope this doesnt have any issues going forward, but thank you for your patience and I hope to get to my upload schedule back on a regular pattern again! Stay wow and enjoy.
In World War Z the book, they put soldiers in a big ass circles back to back, and they just shot zombies for hours and hours, one bullet a second, one headshot a second. They rotated when they weren't being accurate with their shots and took breaks. I feel like they could've done that to vegas. Put soldiers on top of the containers, shoot all day for a week by rotating your soldiers and that's that.
I always love the fact that in a zombie movie usually any bite or scratch can turn you, but hey let me show off my bulging biceps and tank tops. Instead of you know full tactical gear covered from head to toe.
This always irked me in shows like TWD... literally a hoodie wrapped in duct tape could probably stop a bite and yet mfs are running around in t shirts. Raid a motorcycle shop or something ffs
That ending. Kate got the entire team killed to save someone who can’t even survive at the end. Also, the two soldiers who ran off instead of using a fully functioning Humvee.
Did you guys also get pissed off when the chopper went to rescue Kate, muscle man and the random lady. Instead of hurrying into the chopper they start staring at each other and have a very slow wholesome dialogue. If they had stfu and got in the chopper the 4 of them could’ve survived
This is the sins I was looking for. The fact that she goes to safe them and you don’t even show their dies body at the end. It was like “ okay they served their purpose kill em” . I mean she kept pushing to save them and didn’t even save them. Plus why and the hell would leave her kids to go make like 5 grand with no experience. That was a really stupid plot. Kate and geata plot was not needed
Kate is honestly so frustrating. It’s like she has a saviour complex and yet never actually saves anyone lol. Sure Martin killed 90% of the cast but Kate managed to literally kill the rest off because of her selfish actions and then she didn’t even have consequences for them. At least Martin suffered for his terrible actions.
As soon as Kate wanted to got in for her friend I gave up on this movie, Kate swore that she would look after the kids if she didn't come back, Kate realized she didn't come back and said " Fuck those kids, I'd rather die looking for their mom than raise them!!"
Savior complex with no survival instinct and fighting skill will only killed everyone else... I've seen it too many times in movies, it's infuriating 😑
Hot Take: Kate got most of the crew killed. If you recall Zeus had to break down the elevator shaft to get in. Had Kate not ran off Bautista (Scott) would have never pressed the elevator button which means they would have heard the commotion from the elevator shaft and they would have hurried to the secondary escape route. The tiger would have been easily dealt with (they would have first let it maul the Tanaka's chief of security) and they would have made their way to the chopper with plenty of time to spare in fact they would have even had time to pick up Greeta from the Olympus before Zeus got there.
@@Pikashades True but that was unavoidable because Coyote initially made a deal with him. Kate running off like a reckless idiot is what doomed most of the crew because Scott pressed the elevator button without thinking. Had he not done so the zombies would have to loudly punch through the elevator shaft.
They could have also had 3 more people potentially bc the girl who wanted some beef cake wouldn't have freaking died, and the other two who went to get the money might have had time to grab it, or they would have had just ditched it. But the most frustrating thing was the fact that the lady didn't even survive like the whole thing was for nothing.
One giant sin this movie has was that they thought they could do the heist with carrying 200 million on that tiny helicopter, if it were all 100 dollar bills it'd still weigh over 4,000 pounds
Maybe it was the money? Or heres is my theory. The money was just the decoy. That is the reason there is only one helicopter. It was not all about the money.and everytime they try to take it they would not survive. They will always be trapped in the time loop. What if it was greeta all along. What if she was the reason to be rescued. We never see her die. Maybe while the chaos was happening and helicopter crashing she was teleported back to repeat the cycle. Until they rescue her instead of the money? Then here is the crazier theory. What if it was all about the Snyder Cut? It was mentioned that it was in the vault right? What if they were supposed to get that instead of the money? But hey it just a theory a film theory!
The fact that the daughter survived while the rest were dead makes the movie deserve 100 more sins. My headcanon is she tripped while returning home and got killed by that zombie tiger.
@@superkamiguru7985 watch any zombie movie, the characters are almost always going to make ridiculously dumb decisions to get the movie more tension. Because otherwise, all the survivors would survive... and where’s the fun in that?
The daughter is the biggest sin of this film. She literally ended up killing everyone cause of her actions. Edit: I don't give a crap about Martin, he was consciously being evil. The daughter is just straight up stupid and didn't even understand the consequences of her actions.
And she didn't even bother to check if Geeta was alive after the crash, after caring so much to run across a zombie city, risking not only her own life, but everyone else's as well. If she doesn't care enough to check at the very least, then why does she care enough to traverse the whole city?
@@robanator9083 Kate survived it with barely a limp, so how is that clear? She wasted a ton of time when a nuke is bearing down on them to save a woman she doesn't even care that she died? Super ridiculous.
@@mr.u1912 I did... I just thought since she killed all those zombies in the beginning of the heist... That the gf was actually the one who didn't shoot a zombie yet...
Haha I was just thinking this yesterday I started rewatching black summer cause sea2 comes out in 2 weeks and they can't hit nothing . I have a feeling in real life that's how it would be
I think what Coyote meant by that is when it rains, the shamblers all come outside and make things ALOT harder... but the fact they never explored that was a major eltdown
It’s funny how after the daughter spent her whole time looking for Geeta and risking everything for her, Geeta is no where to be found at the helicopter crash in the end 😂
I think thats what she was looking at when she stared into the helicoptor cause you only see the pilot in the frame but Geeta was sitting in front passenger seat next to pilot and she glances over and covers her face or something like it indicating maybe Geeta looks all messed up dead maybe??
@@BoogSReviews "have any of you seen those movies where zombies are vulnerable in the head?" "WHAT ARE YOU?! 12?! THEY HAVE TO BE WEAK IN THE DENSE CHEST!"
As weird as this is going to sound I don't think they were paratroopers I'm not familiar with military uniform always just assumed that they were pilots that somehow had their planes taken down somehow like with the robo zombies yes those were thing in this movie I also always wondered why that guy he never said one bullet for himself I mean he had to see what was coming
@@dravenrogers7040 Yea it did make me wonder, why were planes and helicopters even falling out of the sky over the zombie infested city? Like did the zombies have anti-air weapons? It makes no sense.
This movie had me groaning at the choices at some point, so many dumb choices. Do want to point out that Alpha bites make shamblers. King bites make Alphas.
My whole issue was exactly what he said. The military is ALWAYS overwhelmed and incompetent in zombie movies. I was like so why wasn't the US military able to retake the city if killing them was so easy? Also if the goal was just get live specimens why didn't they just send in a special forces team to capture and extract? I need a zombie movie that actually depicts a zombie vs military scenario.
This is the problem inherent in most siege-based sci-fi stories, most common of which are zombie flicks, but films like 'A Quiet Place' also fall victim to. If your military, numbers, industrial and logistical systems can be overwhelmed when they are at peak performance then the survivors, who would no longer have any of those advantages, would quickly be wiped out as well, making for a short film. Conversely, if you have an enemy that can be dispatched easily by untrained, ill-equipped and poorly coordinated survivors then the threat would've been eliminated before it ever gained any steam when pitted against a fully functional military industrial complex, again, making for a short film.
@@idunbeezasmart1 That depends on the type of zombie though. If we saw RE level zombie mutations such as Mr X, Tyrant, even Lickers I can see them having a hard time because they can take punishment. Even in RE some were capable of using weapons. The movie does a horrible job of depicting the Alpha zombies as smart even though they say they are.
@@idunbeezasmart1 And tbh using Zacks story as outline i could write a military vs zombie movie. Unlike him i would utilize the Alpha zombies so called intelligence better.
They mentioned that the dried up zombies weren't dead, they were also just hibernating. They need rain to moisturize and be rehydrated to move again. And that plot point was never mentioned again.
A sin you missed is when the Latina girl jumped through the window and was able to tell her buddy "RUN!" and didn't mention that the security guy betrayed her.
@@mikemike7326 No but she saw him lock the door and even tried firing her gun at him, but couldn't because she was out of ammo. She knew and could have told them, but then what plot would the movie have?
Florida man wouldn’t care either way, hell Florida man could probably fight the king zombie in hand to hand combat better than any of the crew that was sent in
You forgot the biggest sin of all! The secondary plot of the movie was saving Gita and was this big story moment when the daughter left and Bautista had to go save her at the end, resulting in both his death and the pilots BUT THEY NEVER SHOW GITA. She gets on the helicopter and once the alpha jumps on she completely disappears from the movie with no resolution making that entire rescue attempt meaningless.
Actually you can see her dead after the daughter gets up after the nuke landed you can see her corpse slumped on the window of the chopper on the left side her arm is hanging out the window
Another why would he take the baby out the queen she still alive just no head that makes no sense and that are not zombies it’s a virus a huge difference
They were werewolves - a society with strict hierarchy led by Big Alpha and a few lesser alphas. Smart, but feral, territorial, fast, hunt in packs. Snyder even ripped off a scene from An American werewolf in London.
I loved the opening of this film. Then became increasingly disappointed at how trope filled and stupid. By the end the protagonists were making such inexcusably idiotic decisions I was rooting for the zombie. Such a waste of a good beginning.
yep not only that. the intro made it seem that we were going to get a really fun rollercoaster ride with lots of laughs. it reminded me so much of Zombieland and clearly took a lot of inspiration from it. only for this to turn into one hell of a boring movie IMO
Very true, I was also hoping for a Zombieland-esque kind of movie where the crew would rob a casino in vegas while shooting up zombies. Instead we got a half baked movie that didnt know what it wanted to be right after they entered the city. Such a waste
Apparently he didn't give it to them because he wanted and expected them to die by the lethal traps, so his man inside could just escape with the head at that point
“A secretive Asian businessman”. You give Scorpion the respect he deserves! He’s come a long way since being revived from death and fighting in an ancient tournament to becoming a billionaire businessman
The paratroopers were literally the dumbest thing I've ever seen in a movie. Like what was the purpose? They literally got dropped in the middle of streets with a pistol. What could they possibly have accomplished if they survived?
I’m tired of dumb zombie movies. Since “Train to Busan” people have been waiting for the next great zombie movie. I’m just waiting for a zombie movie where people act with common sense.
The interpersonal stuff was shown and not told for the most part and therefore didn't derail the momentum of Train to Busan unlike in Army of the Dead where WE TAKE MULTIPLE SEVERAL MINUTE LONG SCENES TO ONCE AGAIN REMIND YOU THE DAD AND DAUGHTER ARE HAVING PROBLEMS WITH THEIR RELATIONSHIP. I knew I was in for some shit when I saw a zombie film was 2 hours and 48 minutes long. A full hour of pointless or dumb shit could of been taken out of that film.
Who cares if people like you are tired, movies aren't made for you they are made so the people who take the real world seriously can have something they don't have too take seriously for once. Problem is, people like you don't take the real world seriously because you spend your life behind a screen with no wisdom or ambition so you don't understand the true value of movies and how they are not meant to be taken seriously. The people who are trying to take it seriously are the same bitter insecure people who get off ruining things they don't understand.
@@omnipotentpumpkin9755 when people like me sit down for a new zombie movie we expect something different. Why the fuck would someone just make the same shit zombie movie over and over again? That’s what this is. I don’t care that it’s bad. I care that this asshole uses the same plot points as every other movie. It’s predictable trash.
Fun Fact: The dude going for the bio weapon could've been sold out *way* earlier if the girl just said he locked me behind insteads of telling her boy to run.
I wasn’t the biggest fan of the ending because it felt like it was just getting ready for a sequel Edit: also the one person I wanted to die was the lone survivor
Its not a sequel. Its a loop. And so far there is mountains of evidence that Vandehol (or however it is spelt) is Zeus, the main infected, as there is no possible way Vandehol got bit- in every scene leading to the plane, there is NO VISIBLE BITE on his arm, its the loop restarting
Another sin you should've add was when the two survivors of the convoy escorting Zeus could have use the humvee to run off, but instead both went to the middle of nowhere on foot
Maybe they wanted to sneak off, not draw any attention to themselves and the orders to get out and if anyone cant walk leave them influences their decision.. all adding up to the decision to leave quietly in the dark
Additional sin: Tanaka told them that the vault was protected by traps of a “non-lethal nature”. Protecting 200m? Why are they supposedly non lethal? And why didnt anyone ask about the traps? They also let the one guy who might have detailed knowledge of those traps, the head of security to guard the perimeter. I would want him there in the vault. So I guess a couple more sins really.
Well in the movie the germen dude was also suprised by the fact that there were lethal traps protecting the vualt so it really is'nt a sin becuase the japanese guy was expecting all of them to die so that his henchman could escape without any problem
Another sin they should have never trusted him anyway. Dude paying YOU 50 million...but not the guy who already works for him?NOTHING to stop him from killing everyone amd taking all the money and zombie head for himself
Can we also talk about how in the scenes where Batista was recruiting people the amount of money he was paying them was going down 📉 🤣🤣🤣🤣i was crying laughing at that it went down from like 5million to 50,000 🤣🤣🤣
I KNOW! I was laughing when they offered the HELICOPTER PILOT, 20k, but were gonna pocket 15 MILLION. Like bruh, the pilot is gonna see that and drop your ass out the helicopter for trying to pull that shit
That honestly probably was the most genuine funny part of the movie. The gag of the payments getting lower for everyone. There's no way these people will just sit there and realize how much money they actually got screwed out of.
Another sin, is when Coyote says that if the zombies find the zombie queen's body they are going to come after them. Then they both proceed to leave the body in plain sight.
The most stupid thing about that ending was that the vault with all the money survived the nuke. That means all the guy who hired them really needed to do was just wait until after the nuke went off, send in some people in hazmat suits or use drones, dig the vault up from the rubble, and get 200 million dollars. The only reason the team would want to head in then would just be to cut off the queen zombie's head, then leave. Meaning that there basically shouldn't even be a movie based on what the ending tells us.
@@catsquidcatoverlord9842 They needed a reason for a team to go in there. These people aren't gonna go in a alpha zombie infested city just to cut a head off.
@@queerlibtardhippie9357 why not? The head is even stated to be worth far more than the money in the vault. So why wouldn't they care if told to get it, hell the one who hired them can lie about the value so when they offer a cut they can more easily jip them from what would be a fair share compared to just straight money. Everyone knows the value of 200 million dollars, while not everyone knows the value of a bioweapon, so if they were even told it was worth 200 million when it was worth say 1 billion, they would know nothing to conterdict the lie, while the 200 million dollars would cause conflict the moment everyone sees it if they are only getting paid say in the 100 thousands.
@@catsquidcatoverlord9842 That's exactly why LOL. They know exactly what 200 million dollars is. It's unlikely that this specific group would go in for a bioweapon. If you wanted to actually tell them what you were going in for, it would be more appropriate to just send in the military. The group that Tanaka chose was a group of immigrants and foreigners who would probably put more stock in a bunch of money they can visually see and take themselves that is immediately useful vs a head with an arbitrary amount (that may or may not actually be worth anything) that someone wants to make a zombie army with. These people probably don't want a zombie army. And it didn't cause conflict when they saw it because its MILLIONS of dollars. There's enough for everyone and, quite frankly, they wouldnt even have to report back to Tanaka. They could all just get what they want and leave to other cities that exist.
Don't forget that the vault belonged to the guy who set up the heist - Yet he did not provide them with a vault code to open the vault and let the crew hire someone to do it...
Here's another sin, after the lead security guard thought he got the queen's head he said something along the line of he's going to kill the pilot and leave with the helicopter. But for whatever reason he goes to the ground floor and out the front doors......literally only did that so we could have the zombie tiger mauling scene.
Plus Coyote told him that if the zombies find the body, the zombies are going to come after them, then they both proceed to leave the body in plain sight.
@@willthorson4543 no- have you watched the movie yet? Even in this video, the zombies all gather around him and lift him up into the air. You see him later on in the movie.
14:40 her shooting in the air wasn't to intimidate him, it was to draw the alphas back out. Her doing it next to him, without warning, was a sign of distaste towards him.
My mom just straight up started laughing at how stupid the paratrooper was to land in a whole horde of zombies instead of any of the other buildings nearby xD
Another sin is that the guns don’t sound like that in the movie, which bugged me so much. Plus their ears would’ve been ringing hard core from shooting underground and in that closed space with the sleeping zombies but nah, everyone is good.
The whole intention was to keep the team focused on their task while the real reason for the raid happened. He wanted a head of an Alpha , not the money
Personally I think Vegas was a testing ground for the virus/Zeus. It would explain why the convoy was so underprepared. The higher ups were hoping Zeus would get out and start an outbreak but we’re fine if the convoy made it to the drop zone
The first moment I thought of escaping on a helicopter I thought about weight .Like you want the helicopter to carry 4,000 pounds of weight in money not to mention the crew and make it out without stressing the engine to the point they couldn’t fly as promising as they thought .At that point I was like people are going to die left and right soon. It’s literally why flying a helicopter or plane never works in every single movie .
At least the PILOT would of been aware of the weight and seating capacity. During planning "What kind of chopper is it??" Ohh that is NOT gonna work at all we need a new plan. But nope that never happens. We have at least a dozen people and 4k lbs of cash if everything goes perfect. The weight of the cash alone would have exceeded the weight capacity for that chopper. (At least that is what I have learned from other forums like reddit)
But no one ever questions anything about the chopper. Like seriously it a chopper that just sitting there y. Oh we don't know. What kinda shape is the chopper in. Nope don't know.
The zombie transformations were inconsistent imo. In the beginning it took less than a minute to turn but towards the end it the last guy standing walked MILESS to get to a house then for got on a plane mid air and still didnt turn. Like ???? Cmon now lets keep with the consistency.
They were closer to death compared to batista and the last guy. I'm guessing thats why because its pretty consistent throughout if you look at it that way.
It’s probably relative to if it’s a shambler bite or an alpha bite, where it’s located, how many bites there are etc. the radiation from the nuke that had just detonated also might have kept the zombie cells suppressed temporarily and after he was out of the fallout the virus started spreading faster
I think the transmission time depends on the strength of the zombie, when "Zeus" bites you, you become one of his alphas, when they bite you become a regular zombie and I assume you get less power each shift down
24:48 you missed a sin. Grenades do NOT make some kind of hellish fireball when they go off. Doesn’t mattee if it was 1 or 100 of them. It’s just a puff of grey smoke and shrapnel.
@@ItsFreakinHarding. Have you ever thumb clipped and pulled the pen on an “incendiary grenade”? They are not very explosive in the way a frag is and make even less noise. Their main purpose is to burn through metal and there is no fireball either. They BURN 🔥 not explode.
I agree. And people are saying that the opening scene is great. It would take a really dumb being to say that scene is great. Apparently, these dumb beings are the ones these movies are catered for anyway.
Yup. But i knew it was gona be dumb movie when the truck driver was not looking infront of him for like 5min and then the headlights of the car shine on his face but he still doesnt look
I think you're confused about something. The first zombie, Zeus, isn't an Alpha. the alphas are the ones he creates, and when the Alphas bite someone they turn into Shamblers. The infection degrades with every transmision it seems. That's why the Alphas aren't as powerful as Zeus. Vanderohe has an Omega tattoo, so I think he will be some kind of new special zombie like Zeus.
Sin Coyote’s deaths. There was no reason she couldn’t back into the chopper with Bautista. But instead she pulled the “go, I’ll hold them off” bullshit trope. Literally the only reason Zeus had an opening to attack her was because she was too busy gawking at the helicopter while just standing there wtf
THIS. I knew the second she helped the guard kill the queen, Coyote was going to die in some stupid "I'll die to help you get away" cliche. She obviously had to be punished for being deceived (just like everyone else!) *eye roll* Only done so, in the end, the only two survivors suffered. Kate living without her dad after reconciliation, and someone had to go on to cause a widespread outbreak event. Because of course. Coyote could've lived and been a badass protagonist for a sequel. Bad, bad writing all around.
@@ANite-vx1vk Ikr. Once the German kid died I was downright sure they were just trying to find excuses to kill everyone off just so Bautista could have his death scene with his daughter smh
D, Vann, and the girl with the hoop earrings were my personal favs and the only highlights for me. I feel bad for giving no fucks about Dave's character and wanting Kate dead.
U got about everything except the plot hole in the final fight in helicopter: where the loop is Geeta? She clearly is not in side the chopter after the runaway start right? Right? Did i miss her droping from the building, from the chop, from the movie somewhere? LOL
I think they should have cut out the entire side plot of Batista's daughter. I think that would have made it a tighter and better movie. Btw what was the point of the cyborg zombie?
I assume it might of been an indicator of a much stronger zombie as when Zeus was killed, he had the same blue liquid coming off him as the bullet went through his head
It's a neat idea but it's highly unlikely that The King's helmet would stop a .45 acp. If it did however, the force of a .45 acp would definitely cause some damage to the brain tissue.
No as argument on the .45 points, but to be fair, these are the necrotic zombie type. They don't mind being decapitated, some head trauma isn't going to bother them much.
@@ANite-vx1vk Yeah, you're right. I was working under the assumption that enough brain trauma would put on down, as they still drop like a sack of hammers from a headshot and destroying the brain.
The metal would at least have some dents. It's basically a scrap piece of some prop armour by the looks of it, but somehow it's the best armour ever made, and no one is using it other than some zombie?
Honestly none of the deaths felt weightful because it just felt like "Oh the movies ending we gotta kill the characters now!" But all it ended in was the whole film being pretty much pointless, no goals were achieved and nothing important happened aside from van being bitten and being the new patient zero. Plus they killed any trace of likeable characters and left us with Kate of all people, who compared to anyone else in the film had very small screentime and scenes, not to mention she's a moron and not really that great of a character other than her relation to scott and some touching scenes there... Which is already over now.
Because in reality, their contractor only wants the Alpha zombie's DNA and use them as fodder for the infected. They've been duped by mention of cash money.
@@dizasteroid7 If you want to avoid being bitten by a zombie, you should at least have protection for them. Sleeves can easily be chewed off so it should be those arm pads.
That’s why he walked out: The desert is ball scorchingly hot during the day. Night is basically opposite. So he’s not even chilly. Though the radiation would be insta drop dead, so the heat from the bomb vs desert cold is irrelevant.
Oh come one man, they didn't just watch her. Guzman clearly told her to get out of there a few times while the 5 social distancing zombies watched her break dance. He did everything he could by making frowny faces in her general direction while pointing a fully loaded assault weapon.
Bro the paratrooper slowly landing in the crowd of zombies almost sent me to the ER i was laughing so uncontrollably. Also people who think the army, or any army frankly, would be overwhelmed by zombies dont know what a .50 cal machine gun does to a human body.
I feel like the reason why they didn't try fully killing the zombies and letting them be around for a while was just for political reasons and trying to get their experiment back
Yeah the security guy was trying to get the head from the Queen back out, that was the actual mission and the money was to lure in rando's to take the damage for him But like the guy above says, it would take a better movie That entire alternate perspective is covered in like a sentence in the movie
Dude you missed a big one. Those big cans of "gas" they strap on their backs easily way 50 lbs or more. They walk around like they are unencumbered, and you most definitely do not walk the same with this kind of mass strapped onto your back. Great vid! I'd add a few sins per container.
Alphas only happen if you're bitten by the king. Any other bite turns you into a shambler or whater those underground ones were. Love what you do man! Keep doing it and I'll keep coming back
One kinda fun thing is that as soon as the news of the nuking of vegas being moved forward is finoshed, the reproters starts talking about the ”asociation of elivs-impersinators”
I feel he made this movie cause he could, not cause he wanted to. Another good thing to recognize is that he was the director, screenwriter, producer, and cinematographer (i may be missing a few other roles) but he had almost absolute control over the film, and was given a blank check to make it. When you're surrounded by yes men, but even more-so just yourself and your own opinions, you may not realize the issues you're causing until its too late. Which is what I think Zack may have experienced with this film.
I really wish they would show what happens when it rains since the woman said that when it rains the zombies who stayed outside and dried out will rise again like a giant pile all working together to crawl towards the group.
The chopper was flying out at the same time a nuke was headed into the zone. I don't think the chopper even pinged the radar because it was flying at the lowest possible altitude. Also considering that it went down as soon as the nuke hit
Why does nobody ever mention how they literally found blueprints to the vault in the casino which supports the time loop theory even more then their clothing being similar

That ending. Kate got the entire team killed to save someone who can’t even survive at the end. Also, the two soldiers who ran off instead of using a fully functioning Humvee.
Yeah Kate was just a really dumb character

Yeah I was wishing Kate is the first one to die, but I know through cliche she's the one going to live and Scott gonna die.
And whatever happened to Coyote, it's 2023 I bet she's still dangling on that spear
The ultimate girl boss she made Batistas character come across like a complete moron
That horde, or an army, of zombies would never have shown up at Tanaka’s casino at all if Martin had not beheaded the Zombie Queen.
@@Pikashades True but that was unavoidable because Coyote initially made a deal with him. Kate running off like a reckless idiot is what doomed most of the crew because Scott pressed the elevator button without thinking. Had he not done so the zombies would have to loudly punch through the elevator shaft.
I knew it was gonna be a "But muh FRIEND" shit show when she saw Geeta was gone lol

Shaun of the Dead did it pretty well at the end with the military response

The most stupid thing about that ending was that the vault with all the money survived the nuke. That means all the guy who hired them really needed to do was just wait until after the nuke went off, send in some people in hazmat suits or use drones, dig the vault up from the rubble, and get 200 million dollars. The only reason the team would want to head in then would just be to cut off the queen zombie's head, then leave.

@@johnstrickland3933 i mean casinos do have helicopters sometimes but they usually arent pieces of shit
@@queerlibtardhippie9357 well this was a military rescue chopper but yeah it looks like it hasn't flown since the Vietnam war.
The robot zombie threw me off, I thought there was going to be a twist at the end
Me too but there was nothing else
It made me viscerally angry.
there's multiple robot zombies in the movie with glowing blue eye, i think it has something to do with the sequel? idk, if there will even be a sequel
Roanoke Gaming took care of that.
I like how it was never mentioned or followed up on. Not even once.
I think zeus can only make alpha's, but alpha's cant make other alpha's. they make the normal ones, and normal ones only make other normal ones
I was waiting this video the moment I finished the movie ngl
Bro sameeeeee
Indeed one of the best movies ever
Same here bro fr
Same. I had his running commentary running in the back of my head. :)
The ending is where I'm pissed at
The zombie transformations were inconsistent imo.
@@giovan5219 wym closer to death? Like they were more injured ? 😭explain please
@@siraqualadthedope6128 the soldiers in the beginning and batista had fatal injuries when they were bitten and Vand was only bitten on his arm.
It’s probably relative to if it’s a shambler bite or an alpha bite, where it’s located, how many bites there are etc. the radiation from the nuke that had just detonated also might have kept the zombie cells suppressed temporarily and after he was out of the fallout the virus started spreading faster
Many zombie media don't have consistency in how long it takes to turn. It's because of plot convenience.
I think the transmission time depends on the strength of the zombie, when "Zeus" bites you, you become one of his alphas, when they bite you become a regular zombie and I assume you get less power each shift down
except the one dude took hours and never changed.
@@Tha_Trigga i always assumed that it was because he didnt die so it actually took time for the infection to spread
24:48 you missed a sin. Grenades do NOT make some kind of hellish fireball when they go off. Doesn’t mattee if it was 1 or 100 of them. It’s just a puff of grey smoke and shrapnel.
It's a Michael bay grade grenade
Ever heard of an incendiary grenade?
@@ItsFreakinHarding. they don’t do that either, and you can clearly see it’s supposed to be a frag
@@ItsFreakinHarding. Have you ever thumb clipped and pulled the pen on an “incendiary grenade”? They are not very explosive in the way a frag is and make even less noise. Their main purpose is to burn through metal and there is no fireball either. They BURN 🔥 not explode.
I knew it was going to be dumb when the army ran away at the beginning instead of getting back into their armoured vehicles
I agree. And people are saying that the opening scene is great. It would take a really dumb being to say that scene is great. Apparently, these dumb beings are the ones these movies are catered for anyway.
Bro facts! That was literally the first thing I said when that scene happened, all downhill from there 😂
@@hereticsign I think people simply forget about this bs and refer to the Viva Las Vegas montage as the great bit
@@alinazhidil9817 Yeah that montage was good.
She obviously had to be punished for being deceived (just like everyone else!) *eye roll*
Only done so, in the end, the only two survivors suffered.
Ikr, she could have just drop the head to Zeus as she was boarding the helicopter and zues would probably have let them leave.
Wat happened to the girl the daughter saved i don’t remember her getting on the chopper
@@TerryP3 I think she died in the crash
I know he doesn’t mean that every movie he covers is bad, but to me the only good thing about this one was the visuals and that’s it
I completely agree. I can suspend my disbelief, but this movie took that to a whole other level.
I don't know, I liked the idea of a zombie kingdom and alpha zombies.
I'm impressed you could see them through the insane amount of bokeh and shallow depth of view.
@@Son0v4l1ch i mean yeah the concept is there but it’s just not well executed at all
D, Vann, and the girl with the hoop earrings were my personal favs and the only highlights for me.
I have no clue about the robot zombie it’s just kinda there
Maybe it’s the government who sent them to keep track of the zombies?
I think Zack Snyder didn't expect much of the movie so he put all chips in this in order to try and break the Internet
I assume it might of been an indicator of a much stronger zombie as when Zeus was killed, he had the same blue liquid coming off him as the bullet went through his head
The dad's supposed to go there to rescue his daughter, that's how most films work, but snyder can't write for shit
Was there a zombie blacksmith that he employed to make him a helmet?
@@arkine11 batman is using it.
I love how instead of immediately following orders the unit desides to take their time deciding if they will do what their told
Honestly none of the deaths felt weightful because it just felt like "Oh the movies ending we gotta kill the characters now!"
But all it ended in was the whole film being pretty much pointless, no goals were achieved and nothing important happened aside from van being bitten and being the new patient zero.
Plus they killed any trace of likeable characters and left us with Kate of all people, who compared to anyone else in the film had very small screentime and scenes, not to mention she's a moron and not really that great of a character other than her relation to scott and some touching scenes there... Which is already over now.
How were they going to carry that much money? And why aren't their arms covered?
Because in reality, their contractor only wants the Alpha zombie's DNA and use them as fodder for the infected. They've been duped by mention of cash money.
Sleeves are impractical when you're shredded out. At least someone had the common sense to wear hoop earrings and a red headband.
@@dizasteroid7 If you want to avoid being bitten by a zombie, you should at least have protection for them. Sleeves can easily be chewed off so it should be those arm pads.
Wear riot gear and you’re invincible
@@redrobsanthem9206 Or what about a Juggernaut suit?
Should have been a mini series. It was like 4 hours of movie chopped up into 2.5 hours.
That’s why he walked out: The desert is ball scorchingly hot during the day. Night is basically opposite. So he’s not even chilly.
Though the radiation would be insta drop dead, so the heat from the bomb vs desert cold is irrelevant.
the zombies were moving so slow but they just watched the woman die instead of helping her 😂
True that part was so stupid
Also she had time to scream "KILL HIM, HE LEFT ME BEHIND ON PORPUSE" or something ,but nah
That part almost made me turn off the movie. The whole team literally JUST SAT BACK AND WATCHED! and never mentioned her again
Exactly
Oh come one man, they didn't just watch her. Guzman clearly told her to get out of there a few times while the 5 social distancing zombies watched her break dance. He did everything he could by making frowny faces in her general direction while pointing a fully loaded assault weapon.
Bro the paratrooper slowly landing in the crowd of zombies almost sent me to the ER i was laughing so uncontrollably. Also people who think the army, or any army frankly, would be overwhelmed by zombies dont know what a .50 cal machine gun does to a human body.
I feel like the reason why they didn't try fully killing the zombies and letting them be around for a while was just for political reasons and trying to get their experiment back
That would be something interesting to explore in a better movie
Yeah the security guy was trying to get the head from the Queen back out, that was the actual mission
and the money was to lure in rando's to take the damage for him
But like the guy above says, it would take a better movie
That entire alternate perspective is covered in like a sentence in the movie
Why didn’t they give them the code to the vault
Most probably the casino manager was the only one who had it memorized but he died.
@@hereticsign that is a actually logical, casinos change codes and have it split between people to prevent heists
@@killian9314 Still, the issue about codes should have come up. Talk about lack of attention to details man!

@@hereticsign but that was the hotel manager that sent them
Dude you missed a big one. Those big cans of "gas" they strap on their backs easily way 50 lbs or more. They walk around like they are unencumbered, and you most definitely do not walk the same with this kind of mass strapped onto your back. Great vid! I'd add a few sins per container.
Patrolling the Mojave almost makes you wish for a nuclear winter
Then it would all be just the Mojave but everywhere
Yes
Alphas only happen if you're bitten by the king. Any other bite turns you into a shambler or whater those underground ones were. Love what you do man! Keep doing it and I'll keep coming back
One kinda fun thing is that as soon as the news of the nuking of vegas being moved forward is finoshed, the reproters starts talking about the ”asociation of elivs-impersinators”
I think Snyder was testing if his new financers would tolerate a nonsense movie, this is so far from his cut of Justice League.
No he absolutely did it because he thinks he is more clever and smart than he actually is
I really wish they would show what happens when it rains since the woman said that when it rains the zombies who stayed outside and dried out will rise again like a giant pile all working together to crawl towards the group.
Because they could have just sent a previous team to the vault with blueprints.
Most tactical companies use the same style for gear, Batista is wearing a Hailey strategic set up, fairly popular. And how many girls you know that have a key necklace?
Because it is 2 minutes max of dumb explanation on top of a 2 hours and a half of dumb movie. That shit coming out of nowhere was hilarious for me. And then I forgot it existed
Why you wouldn't survive Plants vs Zombies pls I've been asking for about a year already 🙏🙏🙏
