@@colindavid2078 How pathetic are you, you really don't come off the way you think you do in your head. The comment that he missed an "N" simply because he used a vowel to start the next word yet you are trying to use the word dude. The hypocrisy. FYI your statement has 4 grammatical errors within it......DUDE!!
How to survive and sleep well in a room made of snow and ice: Step one: take your mattress and bedding to the bathroom. Step two. Close the bathroom door. Step three: put the heater on in the bathroom Step four: Enjoy your studio flat style bathroom sleep! :D
I spent a night at the ice hotel in Jukkasjärvi in 2003, just an ordinary room, not a fancy suit like that. But still it was an unfogettable experience, I even received a cetificate about surviving the night, with -9°C outside and -5°C inside my room. And before the night we had an outside sauna session, including jumping into the hole in the frozen lake. I will remember that forever!
My wife and I are sat here laughing because the temperature in the bathroom in the Ice Hotel is actually warmer than the inside of the whole of our house.
Apart from the heated bathroom and having lights on, my flat was like that last Winter when the gas and electric got too dear, and the money for meters ran out for six weeks. It was a good laugh though, and I recovered from hypothermia by May.
Although I can’t see myself staying in an ice hotel, this video is fascinating to watch, it must be a surreal experience staying here with the contrast of both warm bathroom/ice cold in your room, the light reflecting around so bright yet the snow walls make it so quiet as if you are alone in the whole hotel, and also being able to appreciate work of extremely talented artists. Thank you for making this video Tim, it’s just amazing.
Could just imagine that you're in Narnia! The amount of work and the level of craftsmanship that has gone into the making of this hotel is just awesome! Very impressed that you get such a well-appointed bathroom and a sauna. That is really luxurious
The only main thing this hotel should change-is giving everybody bathrooms in their rooms. I think the most important thing in a hotel is your, bathroom. You shouldn’t have to get out of bed and walk outside to use the toilet. It’s sort of takes the experience away not having a toilet in your ice room. Great video as always Tim. 🙌
Beautiful to look at but not my cup of tea to stay overnight. There was a lot of spooky eerie stuff in your room Tim. Think I would have slept in the bathroom 😁
Got to be one of the best bathrooms you've shown us on your trips. Interesting experience, the sculptures in the room and seeing the other rooms too shows there is a lot of attention to detail, the ensuite was a necessity I'd say.
FYI: for those who don’t want to have to cross the pond to get this experience… In the gorgeous historical city of Quebec City, Quebec Canada started an ice hotel 1-2 years after the original opened. It is open for 4 months each winter. In Quebec, like over there, the reason for the chapel is to perform weddings - which I have seen on vlogs.
Wow never seen anything like this! Thanks for sharing Tim. Having a bit of a rough week this week and been a bit low but your videos are like a nice escape and helping me to smile through it
Such a rare place is this Tim. You've surprised me with this video, because I never knew that any hotels like this ever existed It's so highly unusual, but amazing, with very many items carved out of ice! Many thanks for this showing.
I have not got to your bed test yet just waiting (I am expecting a block of ice)........ Here it comes..... I am disappointed, you get a mattress 🤣 I expect without too many creepy crawlies inside the mattress :) A note to add, this video is pure class!
I’ve been lucky enough to stay there a few times, ( it changes every year) taking different members of my family, it’s an amazing place, once in bed it’s not that cold, hope you got to see an aurora that’s the icing on the cake. This brought back a lot of very happy memories
i'll just have to enjoy this one via youtube. I can't do cold, this place looks like it would be too much ice for my comfort. still a very nice hotel though, very impressive craftsmanship, I can't even begin to imagine just how long it took to carve all of this. Serious respect to the people who make all this.
This was amazing! The art of the ice carvings were fantastic. I’d like to try sleeping for one night just to experience it but I really hate the cold 🥶
This video has made me appreciate how warm my house is even though im always complaining that is freezing. Thanks for the video, your a braver man than me.
Brrrrrrrrrr x 100! What an absolutely incredible place. And, an absolutely incredible experience. The Ice Kingdom at Hyde Park Winter Wonderland impressed me but this takes ice sculpture to a whole new level. Appreciate being able to experience this without having to actually go there!
Wow that hotel really messes with your senses (in a good way) with so much to see and appreciate. Absolutely stunning Vlog Tim possibly the best I've seen on TH-cam. Well done.
Yesh great vlog as always by Tim , there is also Simon wilson who done a vlog in there stayed in a different room , you'll enjoy that aswell I'm sure you 👍
Wow .. How absolutely stunning Tim :) ... Love;y drink to start with !! And what a room ... WOW... Amazing...and the bathroom... another WOW !! Really impressed Tim. A fantastic Vlog. Amazing experience, bit to cold for me so I thank you for showing us this unbelievable hotel. Its what dreams are made of. Thank You so so much I have loved it all x
Beautiful place. The artwork is insane! But, I would not want to sleep here. Im always cold. .so...thats a no for me, but I'd love to walk thru! Thank you for the tour!
Incredible. I’d love to stay there for a night just for the experience. I’ve never even seen snow before so it would really be amazing! The level of detail in those rooms. Truly pieces of art.
This place is just gorgeous but I can honestly say this is one place I could not stay. Last year our heat went out during the coldest part of winter and it was the most miserable experience of my life! Breathing cold air and never truly being able to get completely warm was simply torture and made me feel weak and ill. Thank you for sharing this beautiful experience but some place warmer like Figi is more my dream stay! Wonderful adventure! Thank you!❤
What an interesting video Tim certainly different I would not stay in an ice hotel to cold for me glad you showed us as I have always wondered what they are like thank you for showing us
Aloha Tim, Gaby and dear little Casper, I love your videos especially when you're all together! Little Casper would have loved the dinosaurs in this cool hotel room! Keep up the good work and thanks for sharing your family with me!❤🙏🤗
Oh my! How fab! I hate being cold and living in the state of Montana we know cold. However, I think I could handle the ice hotel. It seems cozy actually. Its very beautiful.
I stayed with a friend at the only Ice Hotel in North America the Hotel de Glacé in Quebec city Canada and it was amazing very similar with its own unique Canadian flare! Great experience highly recommend! 👍
Not for me, I hate the bloody cold. It was lovely that you had the bathroom but I preferred the warm room.Beautiful artwork in the rooms, thanks for sharing 😊
Hello Tim how are you and gabbie and baby Casper fantastic vidio and beautiful ice hotel in the artic circle its very interested best wishes to you all take care stay safe xx

😂😂😂😂😂
I'd say that about our house if I'm honest - I do spend a large amount of time under a heated blanket.
Yup, our house sits between 9 and 13 degrees Celicuis hahaha
Apart from the heated bathroom and having lights on, my flat was like that last Winter when the gas and electric got too dear, and the money for meters ran out for six weeks.

Its amazing, I would love to stay there, its so beautiful! As a menopausal woman, the colder the better! 😆👍
lol
I love how that Hotel kinda reminds me of how I imagine Superman‘s fortress of solitude might look like 😀🙌🏻 Truly amazing! Love your vids ☺️
Those ice sculptors are true masters of art!

You could always just drill a hole in the ice but they might not like that.
Coffee can or empty bottle if you're male.
One place where you don't have to worry about bed bugs.
lololol

I stayed there 5 years ago. We had one night in the ice hotel and one night in their cabins. I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone considering it.
