I've watched all of your videos. You are my window on a world I will never see. I'm an Aussie grandma, with social anxiety so I could never cope with flying. This video is the most amazing thing I have ever seen. I love all of your adventures, thank you for all you do. 🙃
You weren't the only one saying wow every time you entered a room, I was doing exactly the same. What an incredible building, the thought of it just turning back to water is quite a magical story as well. What a place!
My mind is just blown by all the art and the sheer number and variety of nationalities of the artists. Even as a Swede myself I have never seen it in person nor expected the sheer amount of ice art.
Each one of your videos is different and they have a real sense that we are there with you on the journey. I've always wanted a visitor's view of the Ice Hotel, so thank you for this video. The perfect video to watch when it gets too hot in summer.
No this is not boring ! This is a wonderful magical place 😀😻 thank you for showing us all those amazing rooms in the fantastic ice hotel.❄ Brilliant stuff. 👍💯❤❄❄
When I was watching your tour of the rooms, my jaw dropped, my mouth was open from the amazing place this was. Thank you for sacrificing you body to the icy cold to being this to us. Stuff like this why we watch your videos.
Wow! Somewhere I could never travel to with the cold so thanks for all the wow’s! The rooms were incredible, the detail in each instillation was amazing, especially the cactuses and cats. The ‘stained glass’ windows carved in to the walls of the church were so beautiful Just fab Steve thanks.
What an incredible place, I had no idea it was so extensive or so beautiful. Not surprised you were blown away with those rooms. Love that each is designed by different artists. One of your most stunning videos ever and so surprising. Worth the trip to that frozen wonderland.
No, not hoovers. Zambonis maybe but not hoovers. Cool cats too!! And as for getting married, there may be a risk of getting cold feet at the very last moment! Great video!
The rooms in the Ice Hotel were absolutely mind-blowing Steve! Seeing an ice sculpture depiction of Otzi the world-famous Iceman at 19:46 into the video was several orders of magnitude even more so! WOW! 👍👍👍👍
Thanks for bringing back good memories Steve. I was at the Icehotel many years ago for my honeymoon. Its such a breathtaking place! The huskey and snow mobile rides were everlasting and seeing the northern lights was magnificent 🥶🧊🧤
"How transparent are these columns": you say in the Vlog. You waved and I waved back at my screen here in my house. This is so magical the Icehotel. Love it.
What a treat. With my Swedish ancestry that scenery blew me away. Gorgeous ! The crunch crunch of hard snow under your feet made me wish for more winter memories of my home town in Rhode Island. Love your videos. This one was stunning. Well done. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Australian here with Scandinavian heritage too. This is just beautiful but as an Aussie, that cold would be unbearable for me. It is truly stunning to see though.
What an incredible place! I can see why you just said "wow" all the time because it was wow. I didn't know such a place existed, thanks so much for taking us with you😃
Love this part of the world Steve. Thanks for bringing it to us. Given our current temperatures down under this feels particularly other-worldly. Great job capturing the essence of the Ice Hotel.
Steve - a MASSIVE thank you for such a wonderfully interesting and spectacular video experience - not boring for a second. I didn't want to wake up from it - your time on our behalf is so generous and thoughtful of you - not unrewarded but well-deserved. Brilliant channel!
Thank you Steve. This was incredible For those of us on the beach in California who feel a chill at 60F, this is somewhere we could never see without your help. Just incredible! Thank you so much!!!
I agree with you about the design of the houses in Kiruna. The Ice Hotel was absolutely stunning. I think I preferred the one that melts in Spring, but all of it is magical. Many thanks for another excellent video, Steve.
I loved the Icehouse! There are some really talented artists who do this. You could see the feathers on the birds. And to think they do this every year. Wow! What an amazing video Steve. Bravo 👏.
Steve, you bring us the true joy of travel and exploration of different places and experiences. It’s unlikely that I’ll ever get to see the ice hotel in person but you’ve managed to show enough for me to want to go. Thank you
If truth be told, I actually started to feel a bit emotional as you were showing us all of these amazing rooms (even the word “amazing” doesn’t do them justice). Thank you so much for this video, and I can now add the Ice Hotel to my bucket list!
Oh Steve, you have surpassed yourself. That was a sublime visit indeed. I cannot imagine staying somewhere so cold. How can it be possible??? I hope the bus back was nice and warm and that you managed to defrost. 🥶
WOW! Indeed 😮 Absolutely beautiful, very interesting and I’m very glad you’ve brought it to us Steve. I felt cold just watching 👀 it, lighter moment? No private bathrooms “ I haven’t seen any yellow snow yet” 😂😂😂❤
Wow! chillingly stunning! Another journey not to miss! For those who've not experience arctic conditions I'd say the trip and Icehotel are is a must. However after a quarter of a century in Alaska, my destinations lie in other directions and I'll enjoy the surreal chills and thrills from my warm and ice-free bed.

Hej Steve, really enjoyed your blogs on your trip to Sweden and the far north. Your wonder at all the places you visit is truly inspiring and inspirational. Have always wanted to go to Kiruna and see the town built on an iron mine, and search for the Aurora Borealis. But the ‘Icehotel’, that was the icing on the cake! What a place! Thanks again for all your great travel videos.
This brought back so many awesome memories- did this journey from Glasgow in 2007 & stayed in Kiruna for 2 nights, then the Ice hotel for 2 nights- one night in the "Russian rennaisance" ice suite & one night in an aurora borealis glass roofed cabin. Such a unique experience! Also went reindeer sledding, dog sledding, sami village visit & snowmobiling when there. Watching this has made me want to go back & do it all over again, love it!! Thanks Steve!!

Thanks, Steve, that was fabulous ! It was worth the video just to see the looks of utter wonder and amazement on your face. Just like a small child in his first big toy store . Reminds me of seeing a Lego Disney palace made out of clear bricks in Menzies in Princes Street in the early 60's . 😲
