For me. This is what the meaning of living your best life is.
And the best way that I know to have your kids want to hangout with you.
Even after they are adults ☺

That stream gets really exciting in september!! Nice work and really nice handling of our fish. Love those littlepanter martin spinners, splash some copper nail polish on the blade :)

Pro tip Kyle and Maggie! Use #4 Aberdeen hooks, brook trout are typically in the sticks, if you use Aberdeen’s you can straiten out your hooks after you snag up and keep using them. !

Some of the best quality Brooke’s I have seen for MI. The ones I catch on the Boardman are usually 3-7 inches.

Been watching your videos for along time now Kyle. They got me interested in stream steelhead fishing which I was able to do the first time this spring. The addition of Mags to your videos have put them over the top! Very enjoyable.

Love how you explain how the handling of the fish I've seen a lot of videos on TH-cam where the don't handle them properly and people just go nut on these kids. Instead of just giving them some advice and explaining why it's important to handle the with care. Love it guys. Beautiful brookies I used to catch them like that in roscommon when I lived there miss it.

I have caught many, many brook trout in my life on streams like this. I am a mostly a bait fisherman and prefer no weight. Brook trout are actually very easy to catch if you present your bait well. They live in pristine places where food can be a bit scarce and feed rather indiscriminately.
