      For places like these I try. So much of the damage has already been done but there are still a few places left trying to preserve! I figure if someone sees this video and puts the effort into researching and finding it because they’re inspired by adventure they’re worthy of experiencing it and hopefully one of the respectful ones.

    I camped there when I kayaked around the Keweenaw and on to Big Bay in 2018. That was a busy place that night. Still a nice place to camp with a great view. It was weird having people applaud my landing at the beach in 2'+ waves as I paddled in from the islands. When I landed I asked if I was still in Canada and watched the reaction ;)

      I would of died if I saw you roll up in rollers asking if you were still in Canada. Sounds about right for Superior! 😂

    I camped there for 2 nights after Labor Day. Only a few campers there, but windy as hell. Very nice spot.

    Thanks for sharing this! We're planning to go to the modern campground later this year which is on the other side of the river mouth because my partner wasn't down for using the tree hanging shower lol. But it's nice to see kind of what's in the area. I haven't been up to Tahquamenon for about 25 years.

      Usually it’s the no bathroom that is a deal breaker for most people 😆

    I'd like to clarify that we sensibly have a Kingdom 8, not a 6 😂

    What’s the name of the trails is it TWO heart ORV trail?

    • @brianandheatheroutdoors
      @brianandheatheroutdoors  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not sure what the name of the trail is but if you’re referencing the two hearted river it’s much further west than that.

    Do you need a 4wd vehicle to go? My boyfriend and i wanted to go in our RV vans but we don't want to get stuck. And are there spots large enough for a 20' van?

    I won't swim there. Too many leeches!

      I’ve never seen a leech in Lake Superior! Do you mean the river instead?

    Gatekeeping camping locations is obnoxious 🙄
