Fished some remote streams in the U.P. that held some nice size Brookies. 15" + trout on a couple occasions. Mostly on nymphs . Went to the same locations in October with the dog for some great grouse and woodcock hunting. Michigan produces some great outdoor opportunities.
I’ve never caught a trout but I’m definitely planning to soon. I just started fishing last year and Im so lucky to live in Michigan. Thank you for sharing this video.
@@winterapparel7540 I've been fishing it for close to 40 years. It's nice, but between that, the Paint Creek, and a few other small tribs, we don't have much. Where my family is in the Mio area, there's a lot more options.
Love that there is a river in lower Michigan that they stocked about 5 to 10 years ago but somehow the Browns still live and lurk but Ik if there’s 14 to 12 inch browns there’s gotta be a couple big ones in there I just can’t seem to find them just some OK sized browns here and there? So I don’t know if you run any hatcheries but keep releasing them because they’re thriving🍻
Love Michigan trout fishing with a spinning rod as well. Great video with some beautiful shots.

Treble hooks for average 9-12” trout?
Very good video and beautiful fish. I wish we had good trout water like that in the Detroit area.
