I heard the Andrew Huberman tip on his postcast a few weeks ago - first thing to do after waking up is expose your eyes to daylight, no glass between your eyes and the daylight (no window, no glasses, no contacts etc.. For only a 5-10 minutes. It is amazing how well this works - it instantly puts your body in "awake mode" "let's get going".
I don't meditate, but I do morning devotional, and it's absolutely changed my life. I can't imagine starting my day without it now. Another great way to start our day. ❤~The Mrs.
I love early-morning walking mediations - my day just isn't the same without it. One of your videos inspired me to add HIIT components to my morning walks, but I don't want to sacrifice the 'meditation' aspect, so I'm just doing the fast/normal pace thing, and that's made a big difference in my muscle tone in just a few days. 😊

It’s still dark when I get up, and the sun doesn’t come up for about an hour and a half later. I do love the sunrise and get out in the sun in the morning.
These podcasts are great, I have listened to quite a few, JJ is a master wellness expert, in my opinion. Great stuff.....I listen to all the people JJ discusses in these clips....Love this, I have learned so much.
I awaken when it's still dark. Sunlight is a couple of hours away. I do like to get outside at dawn for early morning light. Definitely helps with circadian rhythms. I drink a large glass of water right away. Then some green tea. Bible reading and prayer. (NO Mantras.)
May I suggest one minor change to this routine? Do the breathing/meditation after your exercise… it helps body cool down and with a calm mind to begin your day at work. Exercise after meditation sorta diminishes the benefits of meditation

Hi. Thank you for your videos. I’ve learned so much from you. There’s one thing I don’t understand. My goal at 47 is to gain muscle strength and tone. I don’t have much fat to lose. I’ve been doing intermittent fast for years now and it works great for me. You recommend eating protein before workout but since I like to work out early in the morning, this would break my fast and I can’t (and don’t like) to workout later in the day. In your routine, you don’t include breakfast before your workout. I’m confused. For muscle definition breakfast or not? What time and what type of breakfast? How can you do fasting if you’re eating so early in the morning and can you work out with a full belly? Thank you in advance

I wake up at 530am. The Sun don't shine til 830am. Don't matter, cuz I get up. I go outside at 830am with my Pup for a walk. Is the walk considered morning EXERCISE? I hope so?! I like to do Resistance Training at 1030am-11am... after I have my Protein Shake & Smoothie w/Digestive Enzymes & daily Supplements.

I use a salt lamp beside the bed after it gets dark, but turn it off when I get in bed. The light-is dimmable too, so you can adjust it.

Don't just rely on apps, do an Internet search or a TH-cam search for videos on that
do the sunrise alarm clocks work if you turn the opposite direction in your sleep? and do they work even if your curtains are open?

We have a pool, could I use it for cold plunge? I am always afraid to go in if the water is not 72 temp.
