My genetic testing shows i need to supplement with phos-choline but im hyper sensitive to sunflower and soy which in most phosphatidylcholine.. Is bitartrate as effective in its form??
I was diagnosed with Myasthenia Gravis in June of 2021, major muscle weakness while walking, using my arms, talking and swallowing food. Do you think this can help me regain muscle strength?
Do you have an opinion on which form is best or which to avoid? There's mixed reviews on CDP-choline and alpha-GPC. Bitartrate is a cheaper form I believe.
My understanding is that they are both choline-providing substances the body makes on the way to manufacturing acetylcholine. So they both serve the same general purpose: a choline source so the body can make more acetylcholine but are metabolized differently, because they both shortcut to different parts of the acetylcholine production cycle. One big difference that is reflected in the metabolic differences is that Citicoline also provides uridine when its broken down. Its sort of a two-for-one. Citicoline is patented (brand name is Cognizin), and is more expensive. Alpha-GPC can be easier to find in some places.
High levels of TMAO have been linked to a number of inflammatory conditions, including heart disease, type 2 diabetes, chronic kidney disease, cancer, and liver disease. TMAO level testing may be done to determine heart disease and stroke risk or to predict major cardiac events. What supplements reduce TMAO levels? Vitamin D supplementation reduced the levels of choline-induced TMA and TMAO by regulating the composition of gut microbiota.

Thank you for this video. I read that too much of Choline can give heart attack, stroke, bigger chances of colon cancer for women etc.. But I guess that's with very high doses? Or maybe a scare tactic..
Getting too much choline can cause a fishy body odor, vomiting, heavy sweating and salivation, low blood pressure, and liver damage. Some research also suggests that high amounts of choline may increase the risk of heart disease.. Yes --- anything in excess...You should not use choline if you have bipolar disorder.
I had you up until you started talking about plants. The trouble is plants carry with them a payload of harmful toxins which means the absorbable amount of choline is greatly overestimated.
Choline may cause a stomachache, diarrhea, or loose stools. This can happen at normal doses. Large amounts (about 20 g) of choline may cause other side effects. These can include dizziness, low blood pressure (hypotension), and fishy body odor.

i was diagnosed with fatty liver during an ultrasound, would choline reverse it? what else do you suggest?
Diet is the first thing to look at. Check out my video on NAFLD as well.
Will do, thanks ❤

Whats the optimal form of choline for fixing a non-alcoholic fatty liver? Does Alpha-GPC repair the liver?
bodynutrition.org/choline/ Alpha-GPC is good for overall liver health.

Yes, it may. .... In addition -- take 5 grams/teaspoon of Creatine as well.

I've been struggling with fatigue and brain fog for a year. Do you think choline could help me?
Yes, add NAC as well.
@@thejdocrealminute4648 NAC has been often shown to do little to no benefit. Some actually showed it is less absorbed than the normal form.
Maybe check out Dr. Berg on TH-cam. His advice on blood sugar really helped me a lot.
Best time for choline before meal or after
Hi Chester!!
Hello! Thank you for your support.
Hi, any significant differences with bitartrate and the other forms of choline?
The difference is the cost and absorption rate.
Its synthetic, its always better to get it in food because of the cofactors in food needed for proper absorption.
