This game has become my new happy place, just give me an arena and a couple of screaming NPC's and I'm in VR heaven lol, 10/10 video review GingasVR, I flipping love this VR channel!
3:56 Getting older combined with a back breaking job has been a huge factor in me getting into VR less. I still play 3 days out of the week, but i normally pay for it the next day. Id still rather hop into VR and FEEL the game with my body than go back to simply pressing buttons while sitting in a chair.
I don't know much about developing VR stuff and I was sad and confused that the pc got the update before VR so thanks for going over that. Still sucks I gotta wait a little bit but its not annoying now since there's a good reason for that.
I feel the opposite on the quest stance. I own a desktop capable of running the game well, but my friend only has a quest. Sucks that I get to experience it while he's stuck waiting multiple months despite paying the same price I did. It makes sense considering the PC version is the main one and the quest is just a port, but still.
I think essentially its more of a power fantasy game, But to combine that with gears with stats is so odd, i neve felled like i needed it. I'd love to see some different approaches to AI, a little less humanoid would be logical. Something you cant just simply fly-roundhouse kick to the face 🤣
Also, I say this a lot. But if you have ever played Dark messiah might and magic 2. The dev said to be inspired by this all the way back in early alpha, and its starting to show more and more. You had gear, you had talents, you had stats in Dark messiah. but all it took was a kick to the face and a spikey boi behind them and you would kill even the craziest of monsters. And you see this in this game as well!
4:17 i dont think it matters if its marketing i think some devs relize some people cant afford a good enough pc and steam vr headset or a link cable for that stuff and devs choose to go to quest bc again thats alot of money to play vr on steam
It’s not about marketing. Pcvr has the power for more advanced and interesting vr mechanics… which leads to longer lasting games and it ends up selling better when the devs do make a standalone port. Why do you think the most popular quest games are PCVR ports that were initially developed for PC

I haven’t gotten that far in yet but they’re pretty varied, some are near beaches, others are on cliffs etc
