I saw some people at Carlisle with this and it looked good. Most if not all had painted it to match the body. It honestly just looks like another BLIS sensor.
Hey Quany, no this kit is designed to only fit 15-17 S550 models. You will have to design or locate your own from another manufacturer or retailer for a S197 set.
@@nickfromdasack That's hard to say. Some places may charge a lot more or less, depending on how they see fit. I would contact multiple shops and get a quote for the installation.
It’s not difficult guys if you want a pin on your bumper that’s you but I know I don’t. I simply went to my local body shop and told them if they could do some type Mickey Mouse on it and they just applied black glue in the back even it out, let it dry and I was good I never once had an issue with it it’s still in place and they only charged me 20 dollars. For those wondering what if I need to remove my bumper in the future well I told them eventually I’ll want some headlight work and I’ll need to remove my bumper they said no big deal you simply pull it out 👍
This was such an informative video. There’s other videos on TH-cam but this one was thorough from start to finish. Good job!
Your best bet is a new bumper, followed step by step and needed so much more fabrication and drilling
Can this also work for a s550 gt500 conversion bumper?

Does this work on a 2018?
No, this kit will not work for an 18-23 car. Those cars had a revised front bumper to fender attaching design. -Landan
Sorry, just my opinion, but that looks terrible !
Do i need to take off the tire!!?
Yes, you need to remove the full wheel & tire assembly to install this kit.
Can this be used on a s197 ?

But if you need to take the bumper cover off for access to headlights ect. You are SOL
@@CrazyAGT exactly
cant you just use a replacement bracket?
Hi K,
You can, but this is more of a permanent solution to help with the bumper fitment. It also makes it a lot easier to remove the front bumper!
Yeah, NO
