- Taken from the audiobook of the Darth Plagueis Novel by James Luceno, Chapter 20 'The Canted Circle'.
The excerpt where Palpatine/Sidious and Sate Pestage realize that Plagueis was the target of an assassination, was removed.
This clip solely shows the Attack on the Lodge of the Canted Circle itself, and what Plagueis was experiencing.
Apologies for the awful quality of the images.
The music from 0:35-3:30 is called 'Anakin vs. Obi-Wan'.
And the music from 5:24-8:04 is called 'Grievous Speaks to Lord Sidious'.
Both are made by John Williams, and are part of the 'Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith' Score. - บันเทิง
Plagueis Hands are rated E for everyone
I would love to do a short fan made scene of this one day. Trying to convince my friend. Would also include Pax Teem's kidnapping of Palpatine and then Sidious' slaughter of the Gran Protectorate.
Please!!
I love seeing sith thinking on the fly especially in a desperate last ditch situation.
Something kinda funny is in the “Disney canon “ book “Tarkin “ James luceno included the droid 11-4d along side sidious making him part of the Disney canon lol
I'm glad this is finally on youtube, thank you
(5:24) Loved it when Darth Plagueis thought "It's plaging time!"
And then he proceeded to plague the f*ck out of those Maladian Assassins.
The moment of the whole book 👍🏻
No one has uploaded the scene when Darth Plagueis reveals himself to Palpatine and Palpatine becomes his apprentice
So a Sith can deal with dozens of assassins badly wounded and without a lightsaber, yet we're expected to believe Jedi can't deal with a few stormtroopers or others in some scenes of the EU and new cannon. As one Jedi said, they are worth a hundred men with blasters. They just don't train to do so.
They weren't expecting an attack by their allies though
Dooku couldn't deal with a few pirates either :))
Yes, pathetic. If Lucas wanted Jedi and Sith to be weaker, he should have monitored what the EU was writing, Force Unleashed especially. You have Obi-wan in Revenge of the Sith novelization able to deflect fire from dozens of droids and make it to Grievous yet in another book a little after Revenge, he has trouble with a few stormtroopers. Give me a break.
@@darthbane3937 it's almost like separate people were responsible for different depictions of the characters with no major oversight from lucasfilm
Sith training was vastly more difficult than Jedi training. Plus, it was more streamlined and tailor made to the apprentice. The formalized training of the Jedi was no match. Apprentices were powerful enough to take on lesser Jedi masters, while Masters were nigh unbeatable in a straight fight.
Yo please upload more of these🙏🏼
One of the best scenes from the book, but I forgot, did it explain why Plagueis didn’t have his lightsaber with him?
I'd assume that the predominant reason is that Plagueis wasn't expecting any danger. It was a rather clandestine meeting after all, his security detail was small too.
Plagueis was also, probably, quite confident that he could have fended off any attack with his force abilities, which he very likely could have, had he not been afraid to reveal his 'true nature' (which may also have been another reason for him to have left his lightsaber on his ship).
@@MorokLeviathan those are good answers, thank you! It’s been a while since I’ve read it.
