How DARTH PLAGUEIS Lost His JAW and Was Almost Assassinated [DISTURBING] - Star Wars Explained

- The DARK STORY of how Darth Plagueis LOST HIS JAW in a failed assassination attempt. Darth Plagueis was the Sith master of Darth Sidious before his rise to the position of Chancellor of the Republic. Plagueis was a very wealthy banker who went by the name Hego Damask, and was a member of the one of the most powerful banking clans in the galaxy, Damask Holdings.

I’m going to break down how Darth Plagueis was almost assassinated by some of the most skilled assassins in the galaxy, while attending a secret cult meeting for the rich and famous people of the galaxy.
So after many long years of performing business deals, lobbying politicians and doing very dodgy things with his banking clan, Darth Plagueis was invited to watch one of his associates, Larsh Hill, who was the father of San Hill from Revenge of the Sith, be invited to join a secret cult of rich businessmen known as the Order of the Canted Circle. Plagueis himself was invited to join the group many years prior, but declined the offer, in fear of giving away his true Sith identity. As they arrived at the secret cult meeting in an ancient tower near the political district of Coruscant, something dark and chilling occurred. I’ll read to you a page out of the Darth Plagueis novel which details exactly how Plagueis was almost assassinated and barely held onto his life. Just for a bit of extra context, 11-4D is Darth Plagueis' droid, who he is very fond of, just like R2-D2 is to Anakin. So here it is:

It's a bit odd that Plagueius was missing a chunk of jaw, and needed a breath mask to function, yet he could still drink enough to get sloshed, and then destroyed by Palpatine. I know he made the mistake of trusting his apprentice too much, and he hadn't slept in ages, so finally an opportunity to rest was hard to pass up, but I'd think him too paranoid, or cautious, to get beaten by booze.
I also wonder whom patched him up. Did Damask know some high-end underworld doctor, who used decent kit? Did he still say he was at the meeting, but survived, before withdrawing from public life, or did everyone just wonder what befell him?

On the one hand, it's strange to imagine an acting Sith Lord almost getting assassinated by someone other than their apprentice; some "mere mortals" without the Force, but then there were a lot of them, so I don't suppose it draws too much away from how bad ass he's supposed to be, as well as he had to be careful not to be seen using the Forceby anyone who needed to live through the event. Still, after watching Clone Wars scenes, like Sidious v. Maul and Oppress, or Dooku v. Ventriss and the Nightsisters, this would have been an awesome battle for us to see. Weird, though, that Plagueius just had a lightsaber hanging on his belt, as if he wasn't concealing his identity. Maybe he used Highlander magic to conceal it until he actually needed it.
It was a political assassination attempt. They didn't know Plagueis was a Sith Lord. From what the book describes his sabers were stored in his robes the same way Sidious has them in clone wars.

Why ‘disarmament via lightsaber dismemberment’ is indeed a peaceful method
When palpatine rescued plagueis he didn't use his master (Plagueis) lightsaber until after he rescue him & palpatine used a blaster while rescuing him from the assassins. He used plagueis's lightsaber and went and found Pax teen in the Grands building & killed every person including teen
I bet Darth Plagueis found it jaw dropping when he heard the tale of Darth Malak.

the book makes no count of Sidious using Plagueis’ saber to finish off the rest of the assassins, he does so when he goes and takes revenge on the Gran senator Pax Teem and his associates in the Gran Protectorate.

The Prequel and Original trilogy fit together like a glove, and feel like they are both in the same universe telling one exciting story, but the sequel trilogy doesn’t feel like that at all, it doesn’t feel like it’s part of the universe, and it tells a terrible boring story with Not so interesting characters. 😞
However the Mandalorian is great! And it feels like it’s part of the Star Wars universe and expands the story after episode 6 very well! My suggestion s for Luckasfilm to deem the sequel trilogy as Non-Cannon, and the new sequel trilogy will be the Mandalorian and any show that comes after it.

Also I completely Hate how in episode 8 Luke just goes and strait up attempts to kill Ben Solo, I mean in legends Luke talked about how he doesn’t believe in good or bad force powers, and that he believes that anyone who is in the dark side can be changed back by taking and convincing him, but apparently in Cannon, Luke believes that if anyone has a little bit of darkness inside them, they must be killed without mercy.
