  • Darth Plagueis the Wise. One of the most powerful force sensitive beings ever. He understood balance in the force... and how to topple it. This video contains his words and excerpts from the audiobook Darth Plagueis, by James Luceno
    I am not the creator of any of the art, music, overvoice, or characters. This is simply a compilation of many interesting things regarding the force and balance.

    7:12 reminds me of when Windu said “ I think it’s time we inform the senate that our ability to use The Force has diminished.” I feel like he was talking about how In generations of Jedi masters could see visions and glimpses of the future with little effort simply by meditating and then around the time the Plaguies and Sidious tipped the balance the Council members would meditate and they couldn’t see the future or far away places anymore(the way that Yoda describes In Empire) all the way up to Revenge of the Sith.

So far my character started as an officer in the sith empire's military, awakened his sensitivity to the force and is growing in power but, I like to play the good Sith, my character has good morals and believes that as someone who also serves in the military his duty is to protect the people, not terrorize them, he hates the Sith now, but he still strives to move up in the ranks of the Sith Order in hopes of changing it from the inside. Sadly he's on a constant inner struggle, because he only knows dark side powers and while he's not a brute using them, he has lost control sometimes because of the dark side of the force, though he still tries to secretly meditate in peace and mantain a certain balance within him. In “the way of the tenebrous” novel we see that tenebrous planned for his death and attempted to exist within plaugeis until plaugeis created Anakin, tenebrous would turn take over anakin. However, tenebrous plan backfired and the midiclorian method he used instead made him live in a pocket dimension of the force where he saw the future of Palpatine taking over. Tenebrous tried to escape his imprisonment but only continued to relive his death and realization of being trapped. Tenebrous is still alive, just with no body and no way out.

    If Plagueis hadn't been so unfortunate in choosing Palpatine as his apprentice, he could have very well become the most powerful Sith ever. I mean the dude willed the Force into multiplying his own midichlorian count. That's NUTS. OR if only Palpatine hadn't been so focused on ruling and government and had actually learned these things from his master, Palpatine definitely would have been stronger than any other Sith in history - other than perhaps Emperor Vitiate/Valkorion/Tenebrae and perhaps Exar Kun. Imho this possibly is the best novel AND audio book adaptation in the Star Wars library - whether Legends or canon.

      Hi. I am a Star Wars fangirl. I need some help. I am a hardcore George Lucas loyalist (loving the prequel trilogy when they were released back when I was in my teens). Unfortunately he sold Star Wars to Disney and I truly abhor Disney's re-branding and re-telling of the Star Wars story. I consider Disney stuff to be non-canon. To quench my thirst for more Star Wars deep lore and its worldbuilding fantasy (and to occupy myself during this coronavirus lockdown), I decided to delve into Star Wars Legends/Expanded Universe books. I just finished reading Stover's Revenge of the Sith and I loved it immensely. It was my first Star Wars book.
      I know George Lucas created the character Darth Plagueis and so am very interested to read this book (written by Luceno). Can you pls tell me if this book contradicts George Lucas's concept of the Force and his vision of the Star Wars grand story? Does Luceno's book feel like a George Lucas Star Wars story? In this book, did Luceno write that Anakin was created by Darth Plagueis and/or Darth Sidious? If so, I might lose interest in reading this book.... Is there any Darth Plagueis comics that I can read?
      Please help. Thank you so much in advance.

    • @armaniwebb4467
      @armaniwebb4467 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@paulinelambert7780 the plaguies book is almost Lucas, and feels like the stuff he wanted to get into. Plagueis goes deep into midiclorians, the pedestal of the force and it's characteristics. The reason I say this is like Lucas due to Lucas original plan for the sequels and recent additions like the force priestess. Lucas planned to explore the microbiotic world of midiclorians and connect them to the force, to balance, to the keepers of balance and more.

    And that is why the Banite Sith were superior even to the Ancient Sith. I keep seeing all these videos bashing the Rule of Two Sith in favor of the Old Sith. But as much power as Darth Vitiate and Marka Ragnos had, NONE OF THEM ever tipped the balance of the force, regenerated their bodies to do physical immortality without sorcery or a mass sacrifice being involved, or even created life. Plagueis and Sidious made themselves gods in the Force. The old Sith never dreamed of such power. Or rather they did. And it eluded them.

      Darth Bane The Ysalamiri for one. That's how it's spelled I think. And the idea the Force could really be tilted in that way, like I've mentioned before. The concept of the Force flip-flopping between light and dark is too simplistic too.

    • @Draezeth
      @Draezeth 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Darth Bane I really don't think Holdo is actually force sensitive. I take what Laura said to mean she was part of a force religion. If he is force sensitive then that is dumb and deserves to be ignored.

    • @Starwaker
      @Starwaker 6 ปีที่แล้ว +14

      To each their own, but I prefer Plagueis unbalancing the Force as a one of a kind event over the new films idea of Force spawning new Light/Dark-siders to balance out the number/power. I mean where was the Force when there were two Sith Lords and a ton of Inquisitors, with only a handful of Jedi for over 20 years? Or even better, when there were two Sith lords at a time and tens of thousands Jedi for a thousand years (also the case in the new canon)?
      With the idea that Plagueis created the imbalance, and Sidious supported it until Anakin killed him, Anakin remains the Chosen One who made a difference. In the new films Anakin's sacrifice barely means anything, because the balance is still all wibbly-wobbly with Force spawning insta-Force-users like Rey and possibly the broom-kid, and Luke ended up a failure (unlike the old canon).
      I prefer "Legends" timeline, canon or not canon.

    • @Draezeth
      @Draezeth 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Why do people keep assuming that because Rey is growing in power to match Kylo, that the Force also does that in the reverse order? It doesn't imply that at all!

    • @Draezeth
      @Draezeth 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Darth Bane Precisely. The Force wouldn't strengthen the imbalance to balance itself, it makes no sense.
