I ordered my new carb from Amazon after checking EBAY too. I paid $20.00 for it. I just put it on following this video and it works great. I did use the new throttle cable bracket with no issues. The only thing is to make sure you cut the new lines the same as the old lines, this wasn't shown in the video, but all in all, an excellent video. My unit is 25yrs old, it would idle but when I gave it the gas it bogged down. Doing this job myself, it would have cost me $235.00, more than a new similar unit. Thank you.
I replace a carburetor on a pole saw same thing you doing but I can't get it to Rob up clean it's smoking a little too much like it won't even want to change any suggestions
Hi, I've got 1 of those great machines, has the older engine tho. I've never touched the carb, leave it for months first few pulls it's away. I didn't realise you could thread the cable on those, I've always swapped the top plate. Interesting 👍

yeah you can adjust the older version as well. glad i helped even if its a tiny bit
