Rockman & Forte (ロックマン&フォルテ), known as Mega Man & Bass in the Western world, used to be the last game in the original Rockman/Mega Man series, until Rockman & Forte Mirai kara no Chōsensha (ロックマン&フォルテ 未来からの挑戦者) was released for the WonderSwan.
This time around, Dr. Wily has his own creation turned against him, allowing the player to use Mega Man or a bad guy!
However, in this run, the players only use Mega Man and collect each and every CD in the game, which shouldn't be possible using only one character. Then again, many things happen in this movie that weren't intended to be possible.
This run is a collaboration between sparky ( tasvideos.org/Users/Profile/s... ), the current author of the other branches for this game, parrot14green ( tasvideos.org/Users/Profile/p... ), the author of the previous "100 CDs" run, and woabcfl ( tasvideos.org/Users/Profile/w... ), the author of the Rockman no Constancy runs. Remember. Glitches are inherently part of the game they're in, so it's canon that Mega Man and Bass could phase through solid objects and corrupt the fabric of reality if they wanted to.

.....teleporting can phase through solid objects, and centuar flash already warps reality. Two steps away from doing this in canon.

Yeah all the wall zips make these runs a bit painful on the eyes for me to watch....worth it though, this is one of my fav megaman games

Dr. Wily decided to pull a prank on Dr. Light by overloading Mega Man’s circuits with Crystal Meth only for it to horribly backfire on him
Easily Capcom's most impressive SNES game, both graphically, and sound wise.
The sound in particular is so good now. It's not using tinny instruments anymore and a lot of the instruments are of high quality (Piano, fake square wave, bass, etc). The composer who made this worked on CPS2 games too! Good stuff!

You're deaf, this is the worst-sounding Mega Man/X game I've ever heard. The music is incredibly lame-sounding due to bad use of instruments, as if someone composed the songs and another person just threw a dart at a paper saying what MIDI instrument would be used for the melody.

I never played or watched this game, but when I saw the preview of the Ice Wall, I knew what was going to happen. I know very well about other games that abilities that gives you "platforms"/collision can be incredibly buggy.

This run is beautiful! One of my favorite parts about watching runs is seeing how fast they can clear a stage before the music loops! I may only like about half of this soundtrack, but that half is fucking FLAWLESS and easily the best of Classic, hell, all of Megaman!

Yeah, it's lame they didn't include this one, I guess it's because it's not a numbered Mega Man game. Then again, they referenced it in Mega Man 9, which implies they consider it part of the classic series.

Man, megaman graphics always surprised me, i mean, look at those STYLISH ps1 graphics in a snes! Look at that drip zero has in the Z series! I started believing in 32-bit 2D supremacy because of mmx 4-6
I'd love to see a really well done, extremely fleshed-out, intense Mega Man game using modern hardware. Imagine how much modern hardware could do with this style of game. Virtually zero performance problems if programmed well, and so much could happen.

Edit: They dit not.
These aren't bosses, they're special weapon checks that only break if you use the specific weapons on them, and there's a minor skill requirement (use the drill separated, move the remote bomb up and down, push the ice block so it ricochets off the wall, etc.) They give big bolts worth lots of currency (yeah, megaman with a store) when you break each of them, and it's available pretty early in the game so you can get free bolts if you need. But the tas doesn't care about the bolts so we don't even see them spawn in.
Boss rush begins late 34 minutes in.
