This Looks Like A Looney Tunes Game Released By Hudson Soft. Also This Game Is Very Underrated! Like Sure RoadRunner Skids When You Stop Moving Him😏😏😏😏 But It's Make It Look Like A Road Runner And Wile E. Coyote Spectacle On Ice!
If only the presentation of this game could've been combined with Desert Demolition "Starring The Road Runner". Then we'd have the ultimate game of cat and mouse "or in this case Coyote and Road Runner".
This game has some really impressive sprites that really represent the Looney Tunes well but it's really hard to control. Road Runner slides all over the place when he's running. It was really frustrating when I was a kid and rented this from the Video Store. I managed to beat the first stage but, I don't remember getting any further than that.
Oh boy, I remember the difficulty of this game. This was before the times of the internet. This game was no joke, but I managed to beat it despite how weird the controls felt at times.
Stage 1 was near impossible when I was a kid. I was given this as a kid for Christmas and while I never thought the controls were bad, maybe a lil slippery the constant hazards the track layouts and platforming really made this one frustrating. The worst thing was it took months to beat the first 3 levels of the first stage. The boss took me 15 years to finally get through, and another 5 years after that of just going through the other stages. What really sucked about this game was the levels are so painful to get through but that final boss I was able to beat my first time through. The last boss is such a pushover, I felt more anger than satisfaction. That first boss was criminally hard, the next one just brutal, but the further you get into the game the bosses are easier and easier. This is not a fun game at all. If you want to get your Road Runner fix on an old console, Desert Demolition for the Genesis/Mega Drive is a much smoother fun experience.
If this game had better controls it would have be fair. But I do like the music and graphics on this game and I did beating this game a few times before
I didn't even get past the first boss. I always thought it was the final boss till this day. Now to see I had a lot longer way to go just pisses me off
I remember when I was a kid, I ended up with a copy of this. I traded a kid I met on a vacation to Puerto Rico. I forgot what I traded him, but this is what I brought back to the states. Never understood how to play it well. But I just liked it.
It's been such a long time since I last saw or played this game. What a great gameplay,it reminded me so much of my childhood. It was really tough to control the Road Runner,so much that the last time I played it maybe last year I quit after the first 3 places.
By any chance, was Bugs Bunny in Rabbit Rampage made by the same team as this game? Because I feel it had a very similar issue of style over substance. Like yeah, it _looked_ great, sure, but damn if it didn't do everything in its power to screw over the player at almost every turn. The biggest offenders, IMO, were the bosses. Boy, could they be an exercise in tedium, regardless of their actual difficulty. I'd say the biggest offender was, fittingly enough in this case, Wile E. Coyote (whose entire stage was a pain, but that's a rant for another time). And yet, despite my complaints, I actually have some fond memories of that particular game.... probably because I actually managed to beat it as a kid, unlike the Road Runner game, lol.
It's fun seeing the ending again as an adult. One of the most rewarding finishers. Was able to beat this with a lot of trial and error but probably couldn't do it again.
I remember owning this game as a kid and it frustrated me to no end. One of the only games that I never beat. You know how your parent(s) ask do you like a game because they gave it to you as a gift? I kept lying to myself and to them saying that I liked it when really I didn't actually like this game.
Controls may be a problem but Road Runner's Death Valley Rally still looks like the kind of game I'd want to play if I had my own SNES. If only Nintendo would add this and other Looney Tunes SNES games to the SNES Nintendo Switch Online app.
That would be up to Warner Bros whoever worked on the titles to get them there. There are certainly a few of the SNES Konami games made with Warner Bros' license that would be really nice to see.
I've tried to finish it several times over the last decades, and now, reading the video descripción as well as the comments, I see I'm not the only one who just can't understand the game and even less stay with it long enough. That's a shame since it really has some appeal.
That episode was great. I was there in the live chat along with a friend of mine for the premiere and had a lot of fun. They're very funny. Plus I'm a big Looney Tunes fan, would watch them on television whenever they were on. The Road Runner shorts are some of the funniest in the Chuck Jones directed library
I can't believe I finally found out what this game was called and that I didn't have mandela effect and actually played this game about 10 years ago. I remember trying to find games about roadrunner and coyote but there was nothing good except for Desert Demolition, and after surfing through 20 pages on Google I found this. Lol I always thought that was just a dream
I remember this game and played it once. Though hard as heck, I loved the Road Runner cartoons. This was SNES Blast Processing. I do recall the Japanese version, the title was called "Wile E. Coyote vs. Road Runner".
I wonder how Coyote was able to afford all the ACME products and which address to ship them to. Why were all the ACME products malfunctioned, and why does Coyote KEEP buying them? Where does he get the money 💰 for all the defective products? I do not know how Coyote recovered all the times he got exploded or fell from the sky.
Commercial for this game: *_"'Road Runner's Death Valley Rally.' Is this a great game or what?"_* Well, if by "great" you mean awful controls, obnoxiously designed levels with *TONS* of shit thrown at you without warning, and plenty of "leaps of faith..." Then yes. It's a fantastic game. Seriously, though. This game sucks. But, at least the graphics are good.
I have this game for the Super Nintendo since I was a kid. It’s was my first Super Nintendo game and I beat this game at the age of 14 because I try really hard to beat this game. I don’t care 🤷♂️ about the bonus flags I care about to finish the game. This was one of the few games I had as a kid. Didn't have many being a poor kid and all. However, I love the difficulty, and all I had was replayability, but this game taught me timing and control for future gaming endeavors
As amazing as this game looks, I'd rather be watching the catapult sequence from the 1963 Wile E. Coyote and Roadrunner cartoon, "To Beep or Not To Beep."
Wow even watching gameplay of this it doesn’t have the same high speed exhilaration as sonic cause what made sonic so fun and exciting is that even if you’re watching someone else play it you could still feel the high speed thrill and excitement of seeing sonic run fast and mainly due to the level design and how it compliments sonic’s speed and even when he slows down to jump on platforms you could still feel that momentum but this game like one minute you’re going fast and next thing you know you bump into something you lose speed and sonic had that too but at least with sonic it was a trial and error thing and there’s still more paths to take to increase your speed again

This and Desert Demoltion fall into the same boat for me, looks good, plays like absolute shit. This was also the point Sunsoft started sullying their name, releasing games by other developers, much like Acclaim would do, making it look like Sunsoft had fallen off a cliff in quality (the only thing they were still doing right at the time were their Hebereke games).
Desert Demolition was really good though. I never had it as a kid, but I love the game now for its fast-paced gameplay that controlled like a dream. I think it looks better graphically, too.
@@Dorian_Scott It hardly even had a soundtrack to it, pretty much feeling in the sound department like the Taz Mania games on that system. The game incentivizes you to speed up and at the same time punishes you by doing so.

But unlike Sonic, there’s no progression.
Speed is what you use to progress through the levels. Here your punished no matter what you do.

How to play Road Runner's Death Valley Rally:
Just play Desert Demolition.
My brother somehow beat it. I think. There may have been a level-skip code, though.
Not unless you like speed and Road Runner.

Lol, you can tell how badly the player wanted to be over with the construction level. Forget getting a perfect.
