  • Today, we are in Catlettsburg Kentucky, search for the grave of Colonel Walker Scott. When Charles Manson was 4 years old, a judge declared Colonel Scott to be Manson’s father. Please join me as we search for his gravesite and take a tour of Catlettsburg Cemetery.

    Great video! I’m glad you enjoyed the historical marker! Ashland tourism helped me a lot getting the historical marker placed there and telling Jim and Floyds story. Colonel Scott is a McCoy decent as well, I tried to talk Ashland tourism in letting me do a historical marker for Manson’s dad, uncle and grandparents and also his other grandparents, aunt/uncle buried at Rose Hill burial park, but they wasn’t interested.

      That’s great! I’m so glad you were able to do that. In the video, I stated that I didn’t know where Scott’s grave was. And I didn’t. But, I do think that I read somewhere that he was close to the McCoys. So that helped. But, also, sometimes that stuff is wrong lol. So, I’m glad to have found it either way. I would love to talk sometime! If you have a Facebook, look me up.

    Hi Chris, wow, it never occurred to me that Manson had parents, lol. :-) This was so interesting. One of your best, but then I'm partial to in-person cemetery walk arounds. And how funny that papa Manson would be buried near a McCoy. My great grandparents are from Kentucky and their last name is Scott. I sure hope I'm not related to Manson. :-O Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!

      Steve, if you had told me, I had forgot. You have ties to Kentucky! That’s exciting to me. Also, I have come to find out that Colonel Scott descends from the McCoys. So I’m guessing that explains why is he close. The McCoys in this cemetery are his cousins. Thanks for watching, Steve. If you are ever close to me, I’d love to treat you to dinner.

      "One of the most evil people ever". Are you aware, that he never murdered anybody, nor did he "plan" or "order" the crimes. The most evil people ever: the ones who plan and start wars, crimes against nature and animals etc.etc. The list is endless, and neither of these perpetrators are seen by society as criminals. That is indeed the most shocking fact.

    • @rachelsill79
      @rachelsill79 ปีที่แล้ว

      The most evil person ever? He didn't even kill anyone. Most Mass Shooters and serial killers are raised without fathers in their home. I imagine what Charles Manson would have turned out to be if he had two parents that loved him instead of some deadbeat

    Colonel Scott, Charles Manson's birth father of record.
    About 14 months after Charlie was born Colonel and his first wife Dorothy had a son and named him after his father. On April 19, 1937 the "bastardy suit" filed by Kathleen Manson in 1936 was settled in Kathleen's favor. The Colonel was ordered to pay a modest amount child support for Charlie. In 1940 another son was born to Dorothy and Colonel.
    April 17, 1941 Dorothy Scott sued Colonel for divorce and won. His drinking problems, abusiveness and non support issues were brought up in court. Dorothy won custody of both boys.
    Colonel Scott dies in 1954 of cirrhosis of the liver at age 44. He was survived by his second wife Sylvia and his two sons.

    That can be very difficult to find people buried in a cemetery that is large. Unless you know where it's at or someone can show you where or make a phone call for you, it's hard to find people. @@Whittdocs sometimes I wonder why he went down that path, Satan had him but good, I just found your channel and I look forward to your videos. Have a blessed Thanksgiving, things now are so bad but I still have faith in God, and he will get me thru. There is another channel from a very nice young man and he interviewed a young man that claimed he was Charles mansions son. Looking at this boy and hearing his voice I believe it he is the spitting image of Charles mansion and he said his mother conceived him at the Spain ranch. Wow, he is in the music business and says life is difficult for him because of what happened.

    If anything, Charles Manson's story is a caution to all deadbeat dads: you throw the baby out with the bathwater but in some 30 years the baby crawls out of the sewer with a razor sharp buck knife

      @@Whittdocs thanks for posting this amazing content, I always wondered if Colonel Scott's grave is still around. Good thing it isn't lost somewhere among headstones. Although it is weird how this guy became part of American history by getting a girl half his age pregnant.

    Mr. Whittdocs: I wish I could contact you via Facebook but they have made my account unavailable to me. Can't access it. Same on Twitter. No I didn't do bad things but their "wokeness" and censoring of people I wasn't able to access my accounts like a lot of other people. So here I am asking if your can go to France Cemetery in Sparta, White County, Tennessee. The person buried there is Champ Ferguson. Horrible man. He murdered one of my ancestors. He was a Southern Guerilla and he murdered a lot of people. But not too many people have heard of him. There was a book written about him called "The Bloody Shirt" and I went to the Congressional Library to see it. It would be nice to see something about this person & the people he murdered. Thank you for reading.

    I share a Birthday with Floyd McCoy..Valentine's Day February 14th.. I Had kin that was serving time in California's Corcoran State Penitentiary when Charlie was incarcerated there too, my kin was serving time for a non violent crime, they made him a trustee bringing meals to those that were in protective isolation cells, Charlie was one of those prisoners. My kin told me that Charlie was on the 4th tier in a cell by himself behind a tinted hard plexigass enclosure, and everytime they brought chow to him, Charlie would rant and rave and throw his food against the plexiglass, the other convicts hated Charlie and would taunt and tease him which drove Charlie even crazier than he already was. There was a big scandal during that period when the Guards were caught running "Gladiator" bouts between prisoners and betting on the winners and losers. When my kin was released he told me about that and l thought he was making it up, until it hit the front pages and was proven to be true. Great Vlog as usual Chris👍
