When Hertha II reached a Pokal Final

Today I bring you the story of Hertha II’s astonishing run to the 1993 DFB Pokal Final. As a Hertha fan this is my favourite story from the club’s long and exciting history. It is both heartwarming and interesting in equal measure. I hope you enjoy this video and hopefully I’ve converted a few more people over to Hertha BSC !

It would be amazing to interview these guys. I can't imagine what it felt like playing in front of hundreds to thousands at the Olympiastadion with all those plaudits from all over Germany.

Nice listen to end the day and great story to learn of. Clubs having 2nd teams has often confused me - what happens if they were drawn to play each other?

Thanks glad you enjoyed the video, and the that one is easy to answer :) the DFB rigged the draw so that a club's reserve/2nd team couldn't be drawn against the 1st/senior team
