‘Built to the spec of an air-cooled 911’, what should that tell me? The Ferrari engine is totally different. Also, I gather it’s not a real Challenge car, it’s built ‘to Challenge spec’ - and ‘beyond’. I don’t see any Challenge parts, it’s basically a tuned GTB, so why not call it that?
Incorrect quote, the correct one is: "to run at the LEVEL of air cooled 991s" is the precise wording used in the video, which then completely nullifies your rebuttal of "engine is totally different" it's important to be correct when youre quoting and criticising. It's also mentioned in the beginning of the video that it's a '96 F355 Berlinetta. Challenge spec doesnt meant challenge parts, it can but not really, it can mean to the same weight/power etc specs that the Challenge car had. I agree, the video is a bit misleading to novices, but to enthusiasts that know GTB doesn't belong in the nomenclature of the "F355 Challenge" so you know right away that it's not that. A better title is F355 GTB - Built to Challenge Plus spec.

Right? There’s plenty of slow fucking air cooled 911s lmao. Air cooled performance is the most difficult and expensive performance to obtain. Being air cooled isn’t a qualifier for a high performance track experience

FULL TODA race heads, valve train and cams. 2 way JRZ's, Stoptech bbk, Lots of challenge and GRuppe M parts which in Japan were used on challenge cars... where this car was originally built. Meaning at the level or air-cooled was essentially the reliability, maintenance and cooling system. Every arm on the car had been machined to run a more modern style and easily replaceable bushing, Cooling system had been designed to have drastic decrease in temps the faster the car went... similar to air-cooled, engine had been fully rebuilt, blue printed, balanced, coated, and reassembled with more durable parts. No shit its not a air-cooled car. @@kasimirdenhertog3516
