It can be used to sharpen anything from jointer knives to plane irons to carving tools and more.     Bought one for $50 five years ago. The owner had used it to sharpen electric clipper blades for his horses lol

    Haha omg, having the running water through an electric motor is unbelieveable! This could have gone really wrong. Still, 50 bucks is a great price for these. I'd really love to get one, but they're around 300 + 120 for the grinding wheel new. The Shinko is half that, so I may have to contend with that.

    This thing is retail at $600 after tax right now for a plastic case with a simple motor probably worth $30. What a crazy world we live in.
